Our stay was wonderful! We went for a short vacation for my birthday. Me and my friends had a great time here. The property was so calming and peaceful. The place was more than true to the photos. It was beautiful to the naked eye. A highlight of our trip is that the staff were so kind and service was excellent. We definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a getaway and wants to be immersed in nature.

The accommodation was perfect, 3-min walk to the beach. It was very clean and is located in a quiet area. The beach is very uncrowded. The housekeepers prepared a very good breakfast for us. They are very discreet and professional. We would recommend this listing.

TrincoMo house was fabulous! We had a great family stay, feeling like at home with the professional and kind TrincoMo staff. At our check-in all the staff were there waiting for us, providing us a wonderful natural juice and some snacks. The location of the house is great, the sunrise astonishing! The rooms are great with very confortable beds and very good sheets and pilows. The house is equipated with everything; beach and swimingpool towels, padel board ,bodyboard, snorkeling equipment, bags for the beach, family games to play at night(Jenga), everything you need. The wonderful staff always worried about us! Sahana ,Raksana, the 2 ladies that cook for us everyday every meals, and 2 gardners/BBQ. We had all meals at home because the Srilanka local food made atTrincoMo house are home made cuisine with so fresh ingredients! We appreciate a lot all Breakfasts, lunch and dinners!!! Beautiful house in a gorgeous location. The house and pool area are absolutely stunning. Everyone was very attentive. We did not really utilise the chef because the ingredient cost was slightly out of budget (we are students who were having the cost of accommodation reimbursed by our university). Only other thing to note is that after booking we were made aware that an 1000 rupee per person per day tip was expected, which again was a slight problem for us because the cost of accommodation was covered by the uni but the cost of tip wasn’t. But for anyone paying for this amazing house themselves I can’t see this being a problem.

Ben was quite responsive and had proper recommendations of places to visit and eat during our stay. Roshan , the manager there was quite helpful , he set us up with scooter , cleaned the pool regularly , was always there if we needed anything. The location of the air bnb was perfect and it looked exactly like the pictures. Overall 10/10 stay

Villa Samas is truly a gem away from the hustle bustle! It is serene, beautiful, peaceful and very calming. The villa itself perfectly complements the tranquility of the surroundings. The villa is clean, well-maintained and has all the necessities for a hassle-free and comfortable stay. The pool is also well-maintained. The hosts are very friendly, responsive and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Stop scrolling through the reviews and just book this stay already! Everything about the Temple House was fantastic - from the decor to the amenities to the constantly cleaned pool to the villa manager and staff availability and helpfulness. Communication with Jo was a breeze. Jo was proactive and provided all the information we needed. The chef that we shared with another villa made amazing vegetarian food for our party of 4 adults. Nish the villa manager went out of his way to make us comfortable. Shashi was super duper helpful, making breakfast for all of us and staying with my grandma and infant to ensure their comfort when the rest of us were out exploring. The place was spic and span thanks to Ashanti cleaning the indoor area and the uncle outside cleaning the yard and pool. There was a short period of power outage that was handled well by Jo and the team. They had USB/ battery powered lights and fans that allowed us - especially my infant - to feel comfortable. Loved it!!!

Just... wow! We felt truely blessed with the opportunity to stay here. The pictures really don't do the view and villa justice, it's a really remarkable find and absolutely stay here if you get the chance. Sonali and her family are wonderful people, who really made the stay. Sonali's cooking was wonderful, lots of dishes each evening that were so tasty and taking the time to go through the menu with us is really thoughtful and made sure we enjoyed everything. Lesley and Ken have truely thought of everything, there's not a single thing missing and nothing to be improved on. We went out easily on tuk tuks to visit surrounding areas, only to return to absolute bliss with a dip in the warm infinity pool. We even took a little boat ride around the lake from the dock at the end of the garden that Sonali organised for us. This place is a true gem, and we felt so lucky to be able to stay here - just try and stop us visting again!

We had the most amazing stay at Elspeth Villa in Ahangama! The villa itself is absolutely stunning – beautifully designed, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, and you can truly feel the care that went into creating such a peaceful space. Elspeth was a wonderful host, super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Clare’s place was everything & more than what we were expecting. The villa is absolutely beautiful, set in the most peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Nuwan’s cooking and hosting was the cherry on the top of our experience. Tushara also really looked after us. We were able to organise 3 private yoga classes & a massage - personal highlights of my stay at the villa. All of the above meant that whenever we left the villa, we wanted to get back straight away to our private paradise even though Ahangama is a great area to visit. Highly recommend staying and experiencing the beauty of Villa Sisila!!

What a beautiful place. Light, airy with wonderful sea views. Nissanka and Damnika were stars. Always helpful and available. Great cooking. Easy walking everywhere. Will be back. Only slight downside was that the wifi was erratic which wasn’t great for working.

We loved our stay at the Palm Lanka. Beautifully designed & decorated house, well located near beach & cafes. Suresh and Manel were the highlight, making us feel so welcome & comfortable. The meals - breakfasts & dinners - were amongst the best we have had in Sri Lanka & Suresh was extremely helpful with any requests we made. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.

We just returned from the most unforgettable stay at this stunning private villa in the south of Sri Lanka, and we’re still floating from the experience! We were 3 families with 6 young kids (ages 3 to 8), and this place was pure paradise for all of us. From the moment we booked, the host Sophie was an absolute gem—warm, welcoming, incredibly responsive, and full of helpful tips to make our stay extra smooth. The villa itself? Breathtaking. Think lush gardens, open tropical spaces, beautifully designed rooms, and a serene vibe that instantly makes you feel relaxed and at home. It was spacious enough for our group to feel comfortable and connected, with plenty of areas for the kids to explore and the adults to unwind. And the staff! So friendly, so kind, and so attentive. But the real star of the show was Dias, the private chef, who absolutely blew us away with his who absolutely blew us away with his cooking. If you’re thinking of staying here—do it. This place is magic.

Words cannot describe how perfect our stay was. Sharmini was a fantastic host, even before we got there. She was quick to answer my many questions about the villa, the local area and sharing details of companies that could collect our large party of 12 from the airport. Even calling them on my behalf when they didn't respond to my messages. The photos of the villa don't do it justice. The rooms are all a fantastic size, beds and pillows comfy and the bathrooms are wonderful. The location on the beach was just perfect. We were 3 families with 6 children between 2 and 8 and we all spent our time running from beach to pool l. Idilic. But the standout feature of the villa is the fabulous and dedicated staff. Dilu, Milan and Bandu. Dilu could not do enough for us and was on hand, yet discreet. Milan! Well his cooking is easily the best I've had in Sri Lanka. He cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for all of us every night catering for us all! Our villa stay was perfect in every way!

Staying at this incredible wooden cottage on Koggala Lake was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome and at home — their warmth and hospitality truly set the tone for the entire stay. A special shoutout to Yohan, whose help and attentiveness were simply amazing and made everything even more seamless. The cottage itself is beautifully constructed, giving off a fantastic homely vibe with stunning views of the lake. The team even torched the gardens for us in the evening, creating a magical, serene atmosphere. The pool was always clean, inviting, and accessible — a perfect spot to unwind whenever we wanted. All our basic needs were thoughtfully and thoroughly taken care of, making the entire experience completely stress-free. If you’re looking for a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality, this place is an absolute gem. Can’t recommend it enough!

We had a great time staying here, really enjoyed everything the villa had to offer.

The villa itself is great, 4 spacious bedrooms, more well-maintained grounds, a pool that is taken care of every morning. The house was cleaned every other day, with a change of towels. The kitchen has everything you need, dishes, a fire pans, upon arrival there was egg milk salt oil. Washing machine is also available. Among the disadvantages: we were from the middle to the end of April 2025, the non-season began there were very strong waves and our beach did not meet our expectations at all, immediately after the steps there was no sand, as we saw in the photo, but the huge blocks of rocks under which the ocean is raging, that is, to go down these stones in the right vilas 6. We were with 3 kids and it was very problematic for us. After talking to the staff, they explained to us that at this time it is always so, there is a low tide and the sand goes away, then returns. The conclusion of the villa is great but it is recommended to visit in season Separately, I want to note the driver(he also washed the pool in the morning) drove us everywhere, was very patient.

We had the best time at the villa. The minute we entered we were in awe of the place. It actually looked better than the pictures. We were a bunch of girls and skeptical about the safety as it was a new country but Binara made us feel right at home. There was periodical cleaning at the villa with a caretaker always at the property. The pool was always maintained clean and the team maintained privacy as well. Binara was always helpful and responsive. The location is bang on as well. Walkable to beach and 5 mins to all the famous cafes like Kai, cactus etc. couldn’t have asked for a better place to live in SriLanka. Highly recommend this place- be it with you family or friends.

The villa is absolutely lovely, spent there few days where I could relax in the pool and enjoy the quietness of surrounding nature. Dinesh and his team are lovely people and made feel very welcome like if it was my home. In addition their driver Sadun took me around for 3 days to discover both Negombo and Colombo and drove me to centre Sri Lanka on last day. Safe driving, good company, perfect english and they let me discover many things on the way. I would like to come back anytime!

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. Everything—from the warm welcome by the team, to the delicious food, to the stunning view over the lake—was just perfect. Kumar took excellent care of us, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We had five nights at Villananda Villa. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a few days of R and R. We had just finished a bike ride through Sri Lanka and were looking for a bit of rest and peace. This place was excellent. Leading up to our visit Martin was excellent in his communication and very helpful. His manager Sampath was also excellent and very helpful organising transfers to and from the villa and also organising reliable Tuk Tuk drivers to take us to places of interest. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Sampath. The real gems were the two young men looking after us and the villa. Unfortunately I didn't quite work out their names but they cooked and cleaned and looked after us like family. We ate all our evening meals at the villa from the menu on offer and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the Villa BBQ!! I think it was the best meal we had in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka and it was cooked on a home made BBQ at the villa. Fantastic!!

We had an absolute amazing stay at the villa. Stunning location with beautiful views. Pool was well sized, bedrooms and toilets were clean, and house was very well presented. Both main bedrooms had balconies which was nice. Special mention must go to the housekeeper Pushpa and Rojini. They were outstanding. They kept the place clean, Pushpa was very helpful with recommendations of things to do and they both looked after us very well. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we appreciated their help. We had breakfast and dinner made for us for an additional fee - food was very tasty and well priced. 10/10 stay, would highly recommend the villa to anyone wanting a peaceful stay in a beautiful central location.
