We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was super comfortable and flexible. For New Year’s, we joined everyone for dinner, which was delicious and such a cozy experience. Later, we walked to a small club called “Lazies,” where a great DJ was playing at the rooftop bar—such a fun vibe! The location is close to the beach with a nice surf atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy. Highly recommend!

The house was very beautiful, amazing views of the lake Gregory, mountains and perfect spot to view sea plane landing. Our family loved it. Kitchen could be equipped more with spoons, utensils etc. Pradeep and his Mom were very helpful. Bathroom could be more clean and glass doors need to be revamped as the water came out while taking shower. Perfect house for our Christmas gateway. Thanks.

Unfassbar schöner Ort! Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden von Lakshan und seiner Familie sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Das Häuschen hat eine wunderschöne, überdachte Terrasse umgeben von vielen Pflanzen. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Bett war bequem und wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Der Strand ist zu Fuß nur wenige Minuten entfernt und man findet auch leckere Restaurants und Cafés in fußläufiger Entfernung. Wir würden definitiv wieder hier buchen und dann gerne länger bleiben.

We really enjoyed our stay with Sharmini!! She was a lovely host that made us feel right at home, with recommendations on what to do and where to eat. Highlight was the meal she cooked for us and the tea. She helped us coordinate pick ups/drop offs and guided us to the bus station. Made us feel very safe. Highly recommend

It was a really nice stay. Bandula was a friendly host and gave tipps for sigiriya. The breakfast was a a really nice top on. We would recommend it and its a good location to slow down a little bit and reach everything good in sigiriya.

Nimal’s place is absolutely perfect if you intend on climbing Adam’s Peak. It is literally about a 10 min walk from the entrance. Nimal is very warm and friendly, cooking us a delicious breakfast in the morning once we returned from the peak. The bedrooms are simple but perfectly fine. They are clean and comfortable which is the most important thing! There are loads of restaurants nearby too so great for grabbing a drink or some dinner. Excellent value for money too. Thank you for a great stay!

Samantha and Kauchi were the perfect hosts. On arrival were were given welcome drinks and Kauchi informed us of the local attractions, including the Hurulu eco park (where we visited and saw loads of wild elephants extremely close up and virtually deserted apart from 2 jeeps), Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya and pidurangala. The room was lush, the pool cooling in the heat, and the bird life amazing! We ate traditional breakfast in the train hut whilst the train drop off people (it's a delight to watch). We also had some of the best home cooked food we tried in Sri Lanka, fresh as it can be. We felt so well looked after, cared for, and relaxed in this chilled out environment. It's virtually a deluxe homestay, but more! Their ethos of living of their land with minimal waste was inspirational. I will remember the great chats had with Kauchi who's English is excellent. Out of the 8 places we stayed in Sri Lanka over 18 days this place is equal first 🥇 place. Thank you so much everything team 🙏 x

Although our stay was only two nights (not long enough!) we loved staying here. Being in the jungle hills, at the edge of a nature reserve, the views and scenery was so lovely. Valerian, Laure and their family (including the dogs) were so welcoming from the beginning. We had a fun tour of their spice garden from their youngest son and even had homemade pizza one night. The place is quite tricky to get to in the dark - we reccommend looking for “Domaine De Bellevue” on Google Maps. Would love to stay again!

Only stayed 2 nights and I absolutely loved it! Such a beautiful place!! It’s a short walk into town. Host was super helpful. I would 100% stay here next time I visit.

Wir blieben drei Nächte und waren voll und ganz zufrieden. Man hat eine sehr gute Aussicht von der Terrasse direkt vor dem Zimmer. Es wurde sich steht’s gut um uns gekümmert und man kann Wasser und/oder Essen bekommen. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Fuße des Ella Rock und bietet gute Möglichkeit dort hin eine Wanderung zu unternehmen. Außerdem ist man schnell auf den Schienen, welche als Fußweg ins Zentrum führen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We stayed here for 12 nights and it was absolutely lovely. The listing doesn’t tell you but there are hosts on the property who take excellent care of you as well! Lakmal and his family cooked all our meals, did our washing and kept the place very clean. They even sorted a car for us during our time there. They were so lovely and amazing with our 2 year old who absolutely loved them! The property is in a brilliant location, close by to Weligama (15 minute walk to the beach). It is just like the photos and extremely clean, Lakmal and his family also cleaned it regularly whilst we were there and provided us with anything we requested. I would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a quieter property outside of the busy Weligama but close enough to enjoy it during the daytime.

Gaia Soul was actually the reason we wanted to go to Sri Lanka. And — (even though we never travel to the same places again) Gaia Soul will be the reason we have to go back. The pool and the skate ramp were so much fun. There are a lot of different hang out zones, so you will always find a comfortable spot. The place is so tidy and clean at all times. The exterior is really nice with the concrete and the orange and pink flowers. The garden areas are taken care og daily. There is a beautiful beach 5 minute walking distance. 
You can order food all day from the neighbour restaurant, that serves delicious traditional Sri Lankan food. (You have to try the curry with coconut sambol and the breakfast pancakes) Sanduni and her team will take care of you from you arrive until departure. We had two morning yoga sessions with Sarka. She is a great yoga teacher. It felt so special to just walk to the open jungle yoga studio in the beautiful wild surroundings. Thank you so much Baxter!

This family are so friendly ,helpful and completely reliable , Clean house , quick respond for your needs , I was lucky got upgraded by them , lot of space for solo traveler . you can totally trust them for many other aspects, highly recommended to stay .

Casa magnifica, immersa in un palmeto incredibile. La villa è spaziosa, pulita e con una piscina a sfioro che dà direttamente sul palmeto. Lo staff di Nalin vi farà sentire come a casa, sempre disponibili, cucineranno per voi in caso di necessità rispettando le vostre intolleranze e le vostre esigenze. Consiglio vivamente questo posto, pur essendo magari distante dai luoghi di maggior interesse, ma non ve ne pentirete! Per ultimo, abbiamo avuto un problema alla macchina e lo staff prontamente ci ha risolto la problematica. In bocca al lupo Nalin!

This is by far the best Airbnb experience I had, Shashika made all the difference on my stay, upon arrival I met him and his family organizing the house for our arrival, really kind and sweet people who later received us for an amazing lunch. Anything I would need for my stay Shashika was up to assist, from renting a bike to an additional fan I got within an hour. The house is beachfront and it’s really private and peaceful there, the morning walks were amazing. There’s a beachfront restaurant 5 minutes walking from the beach which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. In adicional shashika’s family offers breakfast which we ordered and it was great. The suits are comfortable with AC and comfortable beds. Nothing to complain but just to thank for the great hospitality trough the week.

Отличные апартаменты! Раздельные гостиная, спальня, кухня. Все новое. Есть абсолютно все необходимое. Прекрасный хозяин! Единственный минус - нет кондиционера, но уже на второй день привык))

Wir können Thathsara nur weiterempfehlen. Die Besitzer sind einfach herzlich und unglaublich freundlich- man fühlt sich wie daheim. Wir haben Obst aus dem eigenen Garten bekommen. Der Garten ist generell ein Ruheort, obwohl man direkt in Midigama und nur 2 min vom Strand entfernt ist. Wir waren drei Wochen hier und können es für Langzeitaufenthalte empfehlen.

A beautiful spot on the beach , easy access to tuk tuks, and nice to have meals made on site if needed. We enjoyed our stay and my kids loved the pool and beach.

Diese Unterkunft ist einfach nur großartig! Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Zunächst wurden wir ganz herzlich von David mit einem kalten Getränk empfangen. Danach konnten wir die Ruhe und tolle Aussicht auf das Meer aus unserer Unterkunft bzw. dem Pool genießen. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und man kann von dort aus mit einer tollen Aussicht aufwachen. Außerdem gibt es einen Wasserkocher und Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer. Gleich um die Ecke gibt es ein großartiges Restaurant und es sind nur 3-4 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt und wir würden es definitiv weiterempfehlen.
