Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Split

If I could give this Airbnb 10 stars, I would! Ana’s villa was the perfect stay for our group of 9. The space is large, spotless, and the backyard is stunning. We loved relaxing by the pool and feeding the cute turtles with fruit and veggies. Ana was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions, recommending restaurants, and even booking one for us. She also arranged a fantastic driver for airport transfers. On our last night, Ana and her husband, Mate, prepared a traditional Croatian meal for us, accommodating all dietary needs. They even brought a birthday cake for one of our group—such a thoughtful touch! We were truly blown away by their hospitality. We can’t say enough good things about Ana, Mate, and the villa. This is one of my favorite places I have stayed! It is an adorable apartment within walking distance of Diocletian’s Palace. Our host had fabulous local recommendations and was incredibly helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful few days in this fantastic apartment (more of a house really) in Split. It’s on a quiet backstreet that’s only a few minutes’ walk to the most important sights and some excellent restaurants. One of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at.

Dijana’s place was an oasis within walking distance to anything you could ever want in old town split! We loved our time both in the town and on her adorable patio.

small clean studio in the centre of the palace. This means it was noisy we only stayed one night it was worth the extra for the historical setting .There is a lot of building works going on . Straight out of the door into the centre of Dioclaitions palace restaurants coffee houses everything on your doorstep . it's small and the stairs would not suit everyone steep and very low and narrow. fortunately not a problem for us.

We had the great pleasure of spending a week at Dragana’s apartment, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking not only for a comfortable stay but also for true hospitality. Dragana was incredibly kind and helpful – she took care of every detail in the apartment (cleanliness, equipment, a cozy atmosphere), drove us around the city, showed us interesting places, and always made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was very clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything necessary – we truly felt at home. It was a wonderful experience, and we’re very grateful for such a warm welcome. Ivana's property was perfect - a well-designed and sympathetic restoration of an old house close to the historic centre of Split. The kitchen was well-equipped, everything worked, comfortable beds, a fantastic shower, plenty of towels (including beach towels) and a small private terrace to sit and sip wine. Full marks to Ivana!

Ivana ist eine unfassbar großartige Gastgeberin und hat uns unsere Wünsche von den Augen abgelesen. Sie hat uns regelmäßig mit frischen Handtüchern, Strandtüchern, Strandschirm und Spielsachen für meine Tochter versorgt. Mehr als ich je erwartet hätte. Das Apartment war so sauber, als hätte noch nie jemand vorher dort gewohnt. Die Lage der Unterkunft hätte ich mir nicht schöner wünschen können. Auch wenn ich zuerst skeptisch über die Entfernung zum Strand war, läuft man so schön durch die Altstadt, kann sich mit Snacks versorgen und hat die leckersten Restaurants vor der Tür. Die Gegend, die direkt am Bacvice Strand liegt (dort waren wir immer schwimmen) war nicht sonderlich attraktiv, daher waren wir überglücklich über unsere Location. Alles in allem können wir es kaum abwarten wiederzukommen und ergattern hoffentlich wieder ein paar Nächte bei Ivana. (Ivanas Cousine, die wir manchmal vor Ort angetroffen haben ist auch eine richtig tolle Persönlichkeit).

The apartment was beautiful and clean, in a great location for getting around the old town (5 minute walk in). the highlight was the roof terrace with 360 views of the city. I would definitely stay again. I would highly recommend

Die Kommunikation via AirBnB zu Shannon war problemlos und sie Antwortete immer sehr schnell trotz Zeitverschiebung zu ihrem Wohnort. Der Checkin funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Wohnung selbst ist so wie auf den Bildern, man kommt rein und fühlt sich gleich zuhause. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut. In der Küche findet man alles was man zum Kochen benötigt. In der Umgebung findet man alles in Fußläufiger Erreichbarkeit. Bäcker, Café, Supermarkt (Ribola) innerhalb 2-5 Minuten zu erreichen. Ein Lidl,Spar,Kaufland findet man im Nachbarörtchen (ca. 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto) falls der Einkauf größer ausfällt. Im Örtchen selbst gibt es viel zu sehen und auch der Standort ist gut um Unternehmungen zu starten wie ein Besuch in Split oder Trogir (15-20 Minuten mit dem Auto oder ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Bus) Es gibt einen kleinen Parkplatz direkt vor der Wohnung, dieser ist aber maximal für einen Kleinwagen geeignet (Opel Astra hat gerade so noch gepasst). Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

What an amazing stay. I am so happy we chose to stay here rather than in a central Split apartment. Incredible view, lots of fun things to do, gorgeous beaches nearby, lovely people with beautiful gardens in the neighbourhood. I cannot wait to come back! The manager of this apartment is so awesome. She was very flexible with us with checking in, and even helped us with something, responding within 30 seconds of messaging! The view and location are truly worth every penny. Thank you very much!

Honestly one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever experienced! Marina is a great host who was extremely helpful and prompt. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay in Split. Location is walking distance to many restaurants and the pier. There are quite a few stairs to get to the apartment but the view is definitely worth it!! Can’t recommend Marina or this listing enough!

Wonderful 3 night stay in Split! Looked just like the photos, and was easy to find - not in the hustle of the town centre but super easy walking distance to everything, the perfect mix! Frano was so responsive and helpful, even when mid way through the stay I messaged thinking we’d locked ourselves out (we hadn’t!!!) he called me straight away within 5 minutes to make sure we could get in the apartment ok! We stayed in 3 different places over our time in Croatia and this stay was our favourite Airbnb. Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay! The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful enough to relax and unwind. The interiors and furnishings were beautifully done—modern, cozy, and clearly put together with care. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged and spotlessly clean. Our host was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout. She went above and beyond by arranging a baby chair for us, which made our stay with a little one so much easier. She was also wonderfully flexible with check-out timings, which we really appreciated. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, style, and top-notch hospitality

Superbly located - less than 1 minute from main square of old town. Immaculate and whilst quite compact it had everything we required with quality decor and kitchen equipment. It is on third floor with quite a tight/steep staircase. Host Bruno was very helpful - met us on arrival and carried our case to the top floor - and gave us useful suggestions re restaurants etc. Advise wandering away from the centre as some very nice restaurants just 10 min walk away. We really liked 'Fife' restaurant for seafood and it was reasonably priced. Highly recommend a trip to Krka waterfalls and also Klis castle if considering day trips out of the town.

Really lovely apartment in a great location- perfectly situated in the old town. We thought the apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. Overall it was great value for money and I would recommend it.

I couldn't find check-in instructions but Airport transfer guy knew them and told me what to do. I know it was a penthouses but I maybe missed the fact it was on the fourth floor with no lift. Advantage of fourth floor was an unobstructed view of everything from the huge rooftop terrace.

Perfekte, vollständig ausgestattete Unterkunft. Sogar verschiedenste Waschmittel lagen parat, ebenso Grundlagen der Küche wie Kaffee, Zucker, Öle, Essig usw. Die Lage zwischen Supermarkt und Strand ist ein Traum. Alles modern, sauber und großzügig geschnitten. Die Bilder in der Wohnung sind ungewöhnlich und einen Blick wert 🤭. Bis auf den Parkplatz ist auch alles total unkompliziert. Um zum Parkplatz auf dem Innenhof zu gelangen, am besten in der Einbahnstraße gegen den Strich fahren wie die Einheimischen 😉 Kroatien ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert, Split besonders, und diese Unterkunft kann ich nur empfehlen 👍.

Great apartment just outside of old town. Very comfortable, convenient and had everything we needed for our stay. I would stay here again if going back to Split.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön. Direkte Lage am Strand, man kann mit Meerblick frühstücken. Alles war sehr sauber und die Ausstattung vollständig, sodass man in der Unterkunft alles kochen kann. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Parkplatz und einen Fußläufigen Supermarkt.Das WLAN ist einmal ausgefallen und wurde direkt nach 20 Minuten repariert. Die Kommunikation mit Lea war sehr unkompliziert, freundlichund ohne Wartezeit. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und würde immer wiederkommen.

Mooie, propere studio met klein keukentje (enkel kookplaat). Ongeveer 10 min wandelen naar de oude stad en 20 min naar de haven. Op 2 min wandelen had je de bus terminal om daguitstapjes te doen naar Omis (lijn 60) en Trogir (lijn 37). Tickets kosten €2 pp per rit indien aangekocht in loket of automaat, op bus is het €4! Tanja reageerde heel snel op onze berichten en kon er zelfs voor zorgen dat we eerder konden inchecken. Super verblijf gehad!

Ich durfte einen Monat in Lila’s und Borko’s Apartment verbringen und habe die Zeit sehr genossen. Beide sind sehr herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber und versorgen den Gast mit allem, was für einen sorgenfreien, entspannten und schönen Aufenthalt notwenig ist. Bei längeren Aufenthalten wird auch zwischendrin die Wohnung makellos gereinigt. Der Blick aus den Dachfenstern ist traumhaft, da sich die Wohnung fast am höchsten bebauten Punkt befindet. Die Lage der Wohnung ist einfach perfekt. Man kann sich jeden Tag aufs Neue entscheiden, ob man lieber durch die kleinen, lebendigen Gassen mit zahlreichen Restaurant runter zur Riva schlendert oder doch in den großen Marjan Park, der direkt oberhalb der Wohnung beginnt. Man ist also genau in der Mitte zwischen Stadt und Natur. Hier finden sich auch viele schöne, kleine Buchten und Strände. Mein Favorit war der Kasjuni Beach. Ich habe mit bei Lila und Borko sehr wohl gefühlt und würde mich freuen, bald wieder zurückzukehren.
