Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Spittal an der Drau District

Together with my father, I stayed at Bernadett's house for a week. The house exceeded our expectations enormously. A beautiful house in a top location. The welcome was very warm. The supermarket and several restaurants are in walking distance. The nature reserve was also close by car. All in all very satisfied!

We've really been to a lot of Air BnBs, but the slanting house surpassed everything. The kitchen furnishings leave nothing to be desired, there are a large number of board games (the air hockey was really fun) and books and everything is furnished with a lot of love for detail. Tresdorf is a great starting point for hikes and other activities (recommended here, among other things, the herbal hike of Hana Lerchbaumer). We had a great time with our dog Toni (even feeding bowls and a mobile fence available), who felt very welcome. If you are looking for peace and comfort, you will find both. The place is exactly what you expect from pictures - we were 2 families and had plenty of both privacy and shared space to spend time together. Apart from the fact the house was rather cold upon our arrival (the heating didn't yet heat the cold building), everything was perfect, and both Sandra and Edith (the hosts) did their best to make us feel welcome and comfy. Sandra was always ready to answer our questions and gave us local tips, too. Edith even brought us homemade cake .. simply sweet. The place is perfect for a winter retreat - cca 20 mins to Katschberg for good skiing, snow tubing hill just a few hundred meters from the house, and a safe garden behind the house. It is also well-accessible, even in snowy conditions. As soon as the house got warm, we never wanted to leave .. and the sauna after the day on the slopes was a treat .. :) Overall, we can only recommend this place, and we thank you, Sandra and Edith, once again! I hope to be back :)

Delightful accommodation that exceeded our expectations, Vanessa was very accommodating and always helped with everything right away. Perfect mountain views, all perfectly prepared. The house was very cold at first, but after contacting the host, who responded immediately and adjusted the temperature was perfect. Thank you. ❤️

We have been there for the 2nd time and will definitely be back. Great house. We were there with our kids. Each bedroom has en-suite bathrooms . The kitchen is well equipped and everything is spotless. Perfect place for a relaxing break.

We had a great stay at Flavio and Moira's place! It is bigger than it appears on the listings and though it was initially colder (500 year old house and very low outside temperatures), we settled in very well. We enjoyed the nearby (~25m) ski resorts as well as hiking and a great ice rink right in the village. Thank you!

We had a very nice stay with ours for skiing at Ingrid in Bad Gastein. Ingrid is a great hostess and there is everything you need in the apartment. I highly recommend this as the place to stay. We'll be back!

Me and my 3 friends stayed in Lina and Zbynek’s apartment for two nights and we were very pleased! A very nice and clean place with wonderful views and very good location! The communication from Lina and Zbynek was very good before, during and after our stay😊 Would highly recommended!

We were as a family, two adults and two children, for 10 days in Brigitte's apartment. We had really nice days there. The apartment is well equipped and very spacious. In the kitchen you will find everything you need. The bathroom is large and even equipped with a bathtub and shower. The location is great! Everything you need is within walking distance: various bakeries, Lidl, swimming pool and the city center. By car you can quickly reach many great destinations. We were there on a ski vacation and could easily reach several ski resorts: Goldeck, Katschberg and Gerlitzen. Brigitte lives next door and is super friendly. We are happy to recommend the apartment!

We were already in the Sky apartment for the third time. The apartment was very clean as always. There is a lot to do in the area and just in early May it is still very quiet everywhere. We still like the private hot tub the best. In short: For us, it was a completely successful stay again and we will certainly come again:).

Very comfortable. We had a parking place next to the hotel. Communication with Andreas was great all the time.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Ski bus in front of the door, you can also use the facilities of the hotel. Quiet atmosphere and the apartment has all the comforts. Excellent accommodation with great beds, not a moment regretted our booking!

We felt very comfortable with Daniel and Katrin. The upper floor was available to us alone with a private entrance and had everything you need. The surroundings on the mountain are beautiful and quiet. Katrin is super sweet and cordial and was always easily accessible. We would definitely come back:)

We spent 4 nights there as a 4-member family. We went to ski, the slopes are cca. 15-20 minutes far away. We enjoyed the warm apartment after skiing. It was very comfortable with two separate bedrooms and big kithen with table and all comforts you need (e.g. dishwasher and lots of plates and glasses etc) . Plus there was a livingroom with a big sofa also. The beds were super comfortable. There were two toilets. I think this apartment is comfortable for 6 people also. We travel a lot and we think this apartment is perfect.

Great place, central location. Super equipped for kids. The sofas are not really comfortable for sleeping for more than 2 nights. Therefore, the accommodation is perfect for 2 people.

We felt very comfortable. Highlight of the whole thing was that you could use the entire spa and children's area of the Hotel Cristallo (included).

A wonderful place to stay with heart Elisabeth is an extremely attentive and helpful host who always has a good tip ready. The accommodation is furnished with a lot of love for detail and very tastefully – you immediately feel comfortable. It really has everything your heart desires. We would come back anytime!
