The Laußnitzer Hütte is a small alpine hut belonging to the Laußnitzer organic farm for self-catering at the end of the western Nock Mountains at 1,836 m above sea level in absolutely untouched, 20 minutes' walk from Lake Laußnitz. Our rustic alpine hut made of solid wood includes a small kitchen with a wood-burning stove, a guest room with a fireplace and a dormitory for up to 9 people with a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. Enjoy the tranquility and simplicity far from civilization in a stunning mountain setting.

The newly renovated forester's house is located in the heart of the Drava Valley between Spittal and Lienz and is perfect for families and groups looking for tranquility and many excursion opportunities. The house is in a secluded location between Stein Castle and the village of Stein am Waldrand and has a beautiful view of the mountains and the Drava Valley. The next largest town is Dellach in the Drava Valley and can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

Away from the hustle and bustle lies our beautiful alpine hut. Right on the edge of the forest, adjacent to a farm with chickens, sheep, pigs and cows, you can escape the stress of everyday life and enjoy nature. My in-laws also live on the premises in the nearby main house. They are also happy to help you at any time with any questions. As a small note : In the summer months (about from May to October) our cows and sheep are on the alpine pasture.

You can rent our comfy holiday home with a modern kitchen & living room combination, 2 separate bedrooms and two large balkonies. The flat is on the first floor of our bed&breakfast and the house is surrounded by mountains. The price is based on self-catering, which is easy in the fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, toaster, coffee-machine, microwave etc). Baby-equipment is for free and for kids there are games and toys, in and outdoor.
