Cottage vacation rentals in Sparrow Lake

This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

We were looking for a nice place with indoor pool for our kids, this place was exactly what we were hoping for! The house is very nice, has a few stores nearby to buy anything you might forgot back home. We will definitely come back again!

This place was beautiful and right on the water. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. We had enough kayaks to have fun in the water. The location was very private and peaceful.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Muskoka cabin. Great views of the lake and was really fun to go out on the canoe and kayaks. The cabin was cozy and nice with a great kitchen and awsome living room for hanging out and relaxing. Host was extremely responsive and nice. She provided helpful clear instructions and information. Would love to go back.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in the woods! It was clean, spacious, and incredibly peaceful — the perfect nature escape. The hot tub was amazing, and the game room was such a fun bonus. We also loved how cozy and comfortable the beds were, and the living room and big kitchen made it easy to relax and enjoy meals together. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few mosquitos, so be sure to bring some bug spray. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature!

Chorong was a great host! Leading up to our stay she was extremely responsive as I had a lot of questions! The house itself was stunning. Clearly it is taken care of and maintained very well. All of the beds were so comfortable. Outdoor area was a lovely space. Would definitely like to come back in the winter as I am sure the scenery is beautiful.

We loved Jess' place. Very cozy and felt like home. The location and house are perfect for a city escape. The area is relaxing and quiet, and all the locals seem nice. One kind neighbour even shared his logs with us to help with the fire.

Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Pavlena was very thorough with very detailed instructions and information about everything you would need to know. Self check in was very easy. House was well stocked with anything you might need besides food itself. Setting was beautiful and extremely private. Highly recommend.

This cottage is perfection. Liane & James are just SO lovely. If you're reading this, don't look any further. Just book it. We couldn't have had a better week at Follie's Cove. The cottage was the perfect mix of modern and rustic. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. We felt at home instantly. The sunroom was the perfect chill spot for us and our two big dogs to get out of the sun/rain without feeling cooped up indoors. The beach was heaven for our dogs, and on a quiet end of the lake, so we saw few other people all week. The quintessential Muskoka experience! Liane and James were *beyond* wonderful. They set us up with a ton of breakfast food and desserts. Even offered to return the day after check-in to drop off more coffee. It truly felt like renting from friends. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat from them and puttering around the lake. Wish I had more space to gush about the space and their incredible hospitality. We would book again in a heartbeat!

We had a lovely stay at James' cottage, the view is stunning, the place is very spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped. My favorite is to enjoy the view on the hammock or the swing in the living room. The location is very convenient, only a short drive to town. We would love to be back for the fall. The landlord is very responsible and responsive to any questions. The house is clean and tidy, and even in winter, it feels warm and cozy. Highly recommended!

This was our fourth stay and it felt like home. Always love coming back and even though the weather wasn’t great, there was plenty to do with the sauna, records, VHS tapes and games.

This cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway. The scenery is beautiful and the cottage is very homey. Celine was extremely easy to get ahold of and she was lovely to coordinate with! I’d love to come back to stay.

Our small family loved Ina’s cottage! It was clean, beautiful, and quite serene. Although the photos are quite accurate, they don’t capture just how gorgeous this cottage is. It’s situated right on the lake, which was never too busy. We would definitely return in the future!

This island cottage was everything I hoped it would be and so much more. The privacy was exactly what I was looking for. It was clean and decorated beautifully. The peaceful serene feeling of being on the island was what I enjoyed most. I would recommend this place as number one so far on Airbnb for me. I will be coming back for sure!

Derek and Katie were awesome hosts. Super easy to communicate with before and during our stay, and really flexible with check-in and check-out, which we really appreciated. They answered any questions we had right away and made the whole experience super smooth! The place was clean, cozy, and had an amazing view. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a luxurious yet cozy escape. The cottage itself is immaculate – modern, stylish, and unbelievably comfortable. It strikes the perfect balance between high-end living and rustic charm. Tucked away in the heart of nature, it still offers every convenience imaginable: from fully stocked cutlery and snacks to campfire treats, firewood for both the sauna and outdoor firepit, a gas oven, extra lighters—you name it, it was there.The interiors are spotless and beautifully designed, making the entire space feel like a warm, peaceful retreat. Sitting by the fire, unwinding in the sauna, or just enjoying the serene forest surroundings—it all felt like a dream.This is the kind of place that makes you not want to leave!
