Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Southsea

Our host was very welcoming. She enabled us to make full uninhibited use of the facilities in her home. She paid attention to our potential needs and adapted to them in a considerate manner. Access to garden space and having a room facing it were beneficial, making the stay quiet. The parking space was a bonus and particularly important for us. We are familiar with the location; it proved to be better than we had anticipated. Local amenities were close by.

Samuel was a great host, communicative and quick to respond to any messages. Gave top tips for places to visit and was very helpful also, can’t find a fault! Plus being a 5 minute walk from the station its an ideal commute to the city centre.

Very cosy apartment on beautiful location. Garden was super nice with river view! It is in a city center, close to everything, resaturant, shops.... We came for a Goodwood festival and the price of accomodation was little pricey. But that was like all around a town. Zinnia was a nice host and we had good comunication with her. I definitely recommend this place!

Alex's place was perfect for my overnight stop before taking a ferry from Newhaven. It was en route and close to a Sainsbury's Superstore. I was able to cook a simple meal and have a good night'd sleep before continuing my journey. Alex has 2 lodgers who are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed chatting to them whilst cooking my meal.

A true original airbnb experience. Celso was a kind and friendly host and clearly cares about his guests having a great time - it was great to get to chat over a drink and he made lots of recommendations for things to do (all were great!). The dogs are lovely and the garden is stunning. The location was perfect for local exploring, watching sunset from the coast and it was easy to get the bus in to Southampton. The room was a good size with ensuite, which beautiful sunlight in the morning.

Rachel was an excellent host. Rachel and her husband were very welcoming and gave lots of useful advice! They also were very flexible letting us keep our bags at the place for the day. Overall and excellent stay and would highly recommend!

Great central location for Gunwharf Quay and Old Portsmouth near to harbour Solent, and Millenium Walk around the seafront and historic fortifications. Cafes, Pubs, and Restaurants are all a few minutes away, with Spinnaker Cafe highly recommended and virtually outside the front door. Four-storey townhouse on 4 levels and stairs took a few hours to get used to, but the layout made sense, with the main living room at the top with views across the harbour and Solent. A bonus is the rooftop terrace with views all around, including the Isle of Wight in the distance, but I suggest the extra glass of wine is probably best avoided if you want to get down the spiral staircase safely :-) All in all, it was a great stay, particularly as the weather was perfect for the duration of my stay.

Just got back from a lovely long weekend in the Witterings. The house was easy to find. It was in a good position on bus route with frequent bus timetable to get where you need. Recommendations from Jo the host were excellent. Garden was peaceful and relaxing. Would recommend and consider returning.

Very well organised with everything you could possibly need on hand. Good amenities. Comfortable bed, a good shower and terrace. Everything was very clean, toiletries & coffee/tea available, overall great attention to detail and a good experience.

Perfect for us for the weekend spending majority of it at National Cheerleading Championships in Bournemouth centre. Nice walk in on the beach front. Apartment was nice and clean good location. All instructions given were easy to follow. Would stay definitely stay there again.

Ryan’s place was just what we were looking for. Apartment is very clean & modern, with a lift & private parking, would definitely recommend Ryan’s apartment if you’re in the area.

A short notice walking weekend in the New Forest in August meant accommodation was scarce but I found this little gem on Airbnb which turned out to be just 10 minutes from our walking start point in Godsall. After a 14 mile hike on Saturday I was pleased it was just 10 minutes drive to my accommodation and even better that the shower was hot and the kitchen equipped so I could heat up an evening meal. Lovely and peaceful, very pretty spot through the garden. Good internet signal and tv I could watch Netflix and BBCiplayer on, as well as lots of books to read from. The bed was very comfy as well. Unfortunately I didn’t spend long at the cottage as we walked both days but it,s a great spot and good value option for solo travellers.

We loved our stay at Faye’s flat! It was perfectly located for a last-minute beach getaway. The flat is clean, tidy, nicely decorated and in a perfect location. Exactly as described. Faye was always quick to respond, super helpful, & made check in very easy. We would highly recommend staying here and would gladly stay here again! Thanks for everything Faye! 😊
