Nice and Beautiful location. Only downside is the balustrade glass not high enough and poses potential risk for someone high on substance. This is not Charles hope fault but I think the developers could have figure out such a high building does not need the balcony to be well secured and protected.

Nicely located in the city with lots to do nearby. There's even car park right opposite at only £8 for 24hrs Everything you'd want from a little weekend away apartment. Checking in was a little tricky as the host has to be on the phone with you to open the doors and when going up in the lift connection is lost, leaving you unable to get through the final door on the 9th floor...luckily managed to scramble a bit of reception and made it through. Would certainly book again if in the area. Much appreciated.

A great accommodation option on the site! Location was beyond perfect, literally opposite the club house. The caravan was beautiful, clean and full of everything you need and more! Can’t recommend Janet and her caravan enough! I will be back!

Great view of the seaside and port

Though initially I was very upset as the host changed the apartment I had booked for any assigned another one without any notice. But the apartment which was provided was way above our expectations. Very well maintained and clean. With responsive host who was even ready to help us with our queries post midnight. And an amazing sea view from the window is not to be missed. Overall I and my friends were very happy and content with the service. Had an amazing time and experience. Would recommend it to everyone. Also might book with Charles hope again in the future if need be. Truly an amazing experience.

We really enjoyed our stay, comfortable beds, big kitchen and living room. Lovely space outside and so great to have access to the pool. Really nice area, we enjoyed visiting the local Roman Palace and West Wittering beach also.

The apartment was absolutely stunning! The view from the 18th floor was truly breathtaking and made the stay even more special. The place was beautifully decorated with a stylish touch, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would love to stay here again!

This is a great location for staying on the IOW and even with bad back Chris could not have been more helpful. The amazing welcome basket kept us going through the festival and the place was perfect for what we needed. All a short walk to everywhere and ideal place to base yourself out of with a host who happily goes that extra mile. Thanks!

We had a great stay, the pool was fantastic and we were lucky to be able to make full use of it. Other comments mention the driveway being difficult to get out of, we found we were able to reverse into the driveway (we have a large SUV), which meant exiting was relatively easy. The beds were also comfortable. Thank you for hosting us!

Absolutely loved our stay at Maycliffe! The place was beautiful and the cleanliness was immaculate! Jayne was an excellent host ensuring all the comforts of a home were provided for. Could not fault a single thing and would stay again in a heartbeat. A perfect place to call home away from home!

This is a very personal home that makes you feel that you are in a place that's full of love and family values - the opposite of those places that are pure lettings owned by companies. It's exactly as advertised and very comfortable. From the lovely scented aroma that you smell as you enter to the abundance of throws, cushions and pilows around the place, this house makes you feel warm and welcome. Maria was really helpful - leaving fresh milk and such for our arrival - and she sent some lovely messages and recommendations during our stay - she's a fantastic host and is rightly proud to share her lovely home with her guests. This property was very warm and cosy and felt like a home from home. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed’s & bedding were very comfortable. Good location, walkable to Gun Wharf, Clarence pier as well as many restaurants, bars and convenience stores, also good access to the motorway. Would definitely recommend this property & would rent again next time I’m in Portsmouth! The only downside is the parking as there is only paid parking on the street which is very expensive. (Portsmouth in general)

An ideal location during an excellent summer week for me, my wife and our family, including young grandchildren. Welcoming, with excellent and extensive facilities our host made every effort to make our stay an enjoyable and relaxing time. Edwina responded promptly when we had a question and made it clear she would be there, if we needed any assistance. The description and numerous photos left no unwelcome surprises, we were very pleased with what we found. A generous and thoughtful host. A beautiful area with a range of activities, to suit all ages, supported by a peaceful home with plenty of things to amuse and entertain you if you want to chill out in between days out. All round great success.
