Smoking friendly vacation rentals in South Norfolk District

Thank you to Louis and Roy for creating Moat Island. We felt really lucky to stay. Magical place as if someone’s Imagination dreamt it up. When new guests arrived you could hear them making the amazed sounds we did. Excellent and social open kitchen, loved that. The tents are top quality, sturdy, warm, large and homely, dry as a bone. Bed so comfy. Private own patch of space. Around our tent was our own family fire pit and a table to eat at, a compost loo if we didn’t feel like heading to the very well made modern bathrooms on site. Kids liked the hammock and swing bench. The natural pool was incredible, could of sat on the deck all day looking at the scene, lovely to swim in. Peaceful, driveable to everything - we went to the Broads, Fritton Owl Sanctuary, the North Coast, Holt, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and into Norwich. Could just stay on the campsite all day though, plenty to do. I didn’t want to leave, will be back!

Sweet quiet spot in busy area but tucked away and very peaceful. Immediate access to amenities and not too far from the centre. Fast response and very smooth self check in which more hosts need to get better at. Gary nailed it,

Fabulous stay. Glorious facilities and incredible nature all around. The natural pool is very special. Great to have covered fully equipped kitchen as well as individual fire pits and tripod for more outdoorsy experience. Great warm tents. Will definitely come again.

Great experience, we loved our stay. there are 5 bell tents and a couple of lodges within walking distance of each other. Each site is far enough away from each other to feel private but also close enough to have a bit of a community feel to it. The communal kitchen is more than equipped, we brought far too much with us "just in case"! Lewis was often around if needed and was very responsive with any queries. We would highly recommend. Had a fabulous week exploring Ipswich and Suffolk; this is a great base from which to visit a multitude of places and so much variety from Jimmy's Farm to World War 2 collections to falconry and kayaking to Saxon and medieval history; the furthest we drove was 40 miles. Excellent apartment with interesting views and Kie was a superb host - he met us at the apartment and also messaged during the week to check that everything was ok. Very happy to recommend this apartment and will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Angie was an excellent host - quick at replying and helpful. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed - roomy, very clean and comfy beds. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied. Dog friendly and a secure area at the front of the property. Thank you for a lovely stay - if we are in the area again we’ll certainly be back.

We stayed as a group of friends at this charming house, and it exceeded all our expectations! The property was even more stunning than the pictures, with a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. Vanessa is incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable getaway. We can't recommend this place enough and would like to return one day!

Deer Cottage - what a beautiful and charming place to indulge in. The moment we pulled up we felt right at home. The cosy environment and stunning views brought peace and comfort to us the moment we arrived. I booked this cottage for my boyfriend’s 50th birthday and the attention to detail Tina and Greg went to is simply incredible. From the basket of goodies, birthday banner and card, log burner, freshly baked bread, hot tub slippers and gowns etc we were very spoilt. Tina goes the extra mile to help and communicates promptly. The hot tub was magical - warmed and ready for use on arrival. We enjoyed chilling with a glass or two of wine each day whilst soaking up the sunshine. Tina popped in to say hello armed with the loaf of bread and it was great to share a drink or two to help us celebrate. The whole stay from start to finish was perfection and you will not be disappointed if you book this cottage. We will be back for sure - Tina is amazing a real gem of a lady 🥰

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a home away from home, in a central but quiet location. Exactly as described. The house was lovely, with a private enclosed garden. My son and our pet dog had a great time! There was parking on the street right outside the property and also a drive way. Board games to play, and we really appreciated the tea or coffee on arrival with fresh milk too. Mark was a perfect host, and really saved the day for us and was on hand immediately if we needed assistance. We have family that live nearby, so would love to come back again in the future. Thank you so much for a perfect stay!

This place was fantastic. Everything you need for a party is there. The communication with the host was slow but I was told he was hospitalised and very sick. Hope you get well soon Andrew. The price for it was alot for a day I wish I could chek in around 11am or noon to have more time in the place. Nothing to complain about the place. very clean and it was full of everything you need. I was celebrating my 30th Birthday and I wish I could get discounts for this place to come again and again for more parties 🥳.

What a beautiful escape to the country Hannah’s place is! We stayed for 5 nights and had such a wonderful time. The house is incredible, in a lovely quiet village which is a great escape from busy life. It was so wonderfully clean and comfortable. The kitchen was huge with everything you need and more to make sure you have a comfortable and fun stay. As mentioned in the description the floor is very cold though, so slippers are definitely a must! The bedrooms were super comfortable, the bed had honestly the softest bedding I have ever experienced! Unfortunately during our stay the swimspa was mostly out of commission, but Hannah communicated this well to us and was incredibly accommodating. The dress up box in the dining room was a massive hit with our family, much fun was had trying on the bits 😂. Hannah was a great host and was always helpful and replied quickly to any questions. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Wash Farmhouse. The space was great and exactly what we needed. The house was clean and really nicely finished. Instructions and amenities were well explained and overall we had a really lovely time. Well worth booking and going too.

We loved our stay. The location was ideal, a short walk to a good local pub but it felt totally isolated. The garden was great, perfect for ball games and hide and seek. The dog loved exploring too. The house had everything we needed and a good kitchen to cook in. It was our first trip to Norfolk, beautiful beaches, great boating on the Norfolk broads and visiting the seals were high points. Would highly recommend and visit again 😊

We had a great little getaway, the apartment had beautiful interiors and so cozy for winter breaks. There were calfs on the drive way in and beautiful horses below. We would highly recommend to anyone considering, the hosts were really helpful too and quick with communication.
