Had a lovely relaxed weekend at Pippa & Steve’s lodges. Lots of amenities, easy to find and they made us feel very welcome. We loved that we had a swimming pool as well as the jacuzzi. Thoroughly enjoyed everything and would definitely revisit! Thank you for being great hosts!

Stylish cabin One minute to the Quay Has parking

PhilRating, 5 starstoday
We adored our stay in Kate’s cabin. It’s incredibly well located - just off Staithe Street (and its bars and shops) - but super quiet and peaceful. You’re 2mins walk from the harbourside. The bed was REALLY comfortable too. And please don’t be put off by any other reviews saying there’s a dog smell. There absolutely WASN’T when we were there. Perfect for a couple. We very much wish to go back.

Cosy cabin on organic smallholding

MustoRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Location combines the rural quietude with transport routes, Attleborough not being far I drove there for amenities. It's not far from Cambridge either The cabin itself is nicely placed on the edge of the host family farm. I’m over 6ft tall but no probs without banging my head still anywhere in the cabin or the adjacent bathroom:) Appreciated the welcome, Robyn’s reaching out and their communication. Lovely handwritten guidebook to help you arrive with ease as well as few other things to use but I didn’t have time to do everything.

The Gig House, a Seaside Holiday Cottage

MaryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved Gig House - it felt cosy and welcoming with lots of personal touches that gives it a unique character and had everything we needed. It was lovely being able to sit out and read in the peaceful courtyard in the hot weather and was a great place to explore the area from. Liz was very welcoming - scones, jam and cream is a thoughtful touch on arrival - we didn’t need to contact her about anything but it was clear that it wasn’t a problem if we needed to.

Stunning location! Beautiful walks through the woods and along the river. It was lovely to see the lambs! Handy for the town centre, while also feeling secluded and surrounded by nature. Very friendly and helpful hosts - couldn't be more welcoming. The terrace is a real sun trap - lovely for sitting out (but could do with a parasol for sunny days).

Such a beautiful location with absolutely stunning views. The hosts were so welcoming and the annex was spacious with lovely artwork painted by Laurence, one of the hosts. We would recommend this for any solo or couple travellers who want a stay near the coast. (And plenty of space for dogs)

Private Studio Annex near beach

LiamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What an amazing stay at Jessica’s and Karl’s place. This place is decorated to an amazing specification and really feels like you are walking into a secret hideaway of luxury. Everything about the property was incredibly clean and couldn’t even find a single spec of dust throughout. The kitchen had all the mod-coms you could ask for with tea towels and washing up utensils provided also. Milk in the fridge when you arrived was a nice touch. The location was easy to find and had its own driveway with ample parking. It was between 10-15 minute walk to the beach which was really lovely. Everyone we spoke too was really friendly too! The property has a private courtyard which is gated off, so perfect for the dog to wander around safely. Karl & Jess had provided a folder with loads of information for visitors with recommended places locally. We tried a couple of these and were not disappointed. I’m running out of space to say much more but will leave with this… We will be back!!!!

Cosy private cabin for 2 in town

pamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A gem of a place in a quiet and well kept location. Externally and internally, 'The Cabin' offered a calm and tranquil place to stay and is quirky but homely. We were very comfortable here, the bed is super comfy with lovely white bedding. The lounge area is a pleasue to be in as is the well equipped kitchen. Complimentary tea, coffee sugar and biscoff biscuits, some cereals, butter, bread, milk, greek yogurt, and Paul's very own award winning Seville Orange Marmalade is a beautiful touch. There is even whisky and gin left out for guests to drink if so desired. The bathroom is spacious with a powerful shower, towels, heated radiator and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and some sanitary items. The entire cabin is very clean, trust me, I have ocd! The cabin also offers books to read and jigsaws to do. We cannot fault this place and will certainly be booking again if it's available on our return trips to Bury St. Edmunds. Katie and Paul have excelled as hosts.

Had such a lovely few days break away from the craziness of life. Had everything we needed for our stay. Nyree was available throughout our stay. She had given us instructions on how to get there as its slightly hidden away which is what we wanted. We booked a lunch meal (recommended by Nyree to us) at the Henny Swan , thats just down the road. which is a must do. Its not far from Sudbury which is a lovely little town, found some nice walks too. Have to add that i have fallen in love with the kettle 🤣, game changer for Tea/Coffee lovers
