Monthly Rentals in South Lake

The deck with hard covered gazebo, dining table and lots of deck chairs allowed us to enjoy the beauty of the lake and outdoors, even when it rained. The living/dining area had lovely low windows which allowed views of the lake and loons from indoors. The beds (queen, double & single) were extremely comfortable.

Ken was amazing. We had a snowstorm the weekend we were there and he was very helpful with local recommendations, accommodating on check in and out especially when one of our vehicles got stuck in snow and very very very responsive. He was also proactive about hiring a plower to come and plow through one of the side roads leading up to the property. The property was also amazing with both an indoor and outdoor fireplace, sauna, great open space, clean and renovated place. Would definitely recommend and come back to!

I had a wonderful stay at Mala’s place. This wooded cottage far exceeded our expectations. It was fully stocked, clean, and set up to feel like a home away from home. The attention to detail was impressive and communication with the hosts was outstanding. We enjoyed spending time out back looking out at the wetland and grilling on there barbecue. The views of the woods from all of the large windows was a huge plus.

Had a lovely few days at the cabin the hill. They have done such a beautiful job with the place, it was perfect. I sat and read for hours, looking out onto the forest and hills beyond. The place is only a few minutes from Haliburton so I was able to run and get food and supplies, and even a lovely dinner at the Hook, Line and Sinker. Natalie was extremely responsive and helpful. A lovely few days - hope to go back soon.
