We had a wonderful time staying on the farm! The house was exactly as described, comfortable, clean and really nicely decorated. The location is on a working-farm so it is a little remote but that just means it’s very quiet and peaceful - it’s still very convenient to get to lots of local attractions by car. Amanda went to so much effort to make our stay fun, we went up to the farm to see the cows and had a tractor-trailer ride which we loved. Amanda also organised for our kids to feed the rabbits and chickens every morning, as well as two lambs and then our daughter had a pony ride which she loved. We really appreciated the effort as our children had the best time and so did we. As for the house itself, it is very comfortable, WiFi was great, the beds were comfortable and it was well furnished. The kitchen had nearly everything you’d need when away from home. We will be back!

We wanted a relaxing space to rest our heads after travelling for a family funeral & couldn't have chosen better if we'd tried! It's an absolute gem. Not only does it offer beautiful, well thought out, comfortable living accommodation, sitting in the most idyllic location, it also offers a magical peace & tranquility, therapy, a place to heal & learn. I only wanted a bed but found so much more - I did not want to leave! As well as Kate & Phil, our wonderful hosts, we were also very privileged to enjoy the company of their extended family, the furry & feathered kind; Harvey the dog, Olivia, Marcel & Alfie the cats, Woody, Zippy & Coco, the donkeys, May & Grace, the Dartmoor ponies & Bob the cockerel & his girls - all rescue animals, all now living their best lives, thanks to our human hosts. And if this wasn't enough, we were serenaded by beautiful birdsong throughout our stay. Fans of Mother Nature stay here, you'll not be disappointed - it's magic! We'll be back 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a romantic weekend away for my wife's birthday and I couldn't have asked for more. The hut, land, area is all as stunning as the photos suggest and Kate was the perfect host. The hot tub was brilliant, very easy to use compared to some wood burner tubs and didn't boil you alive after a while. The location is ideal, it's easily as quiet and secluded as areas of Wales but then only 15 minutes from th main road so allot easier to get in and out of.

A beautiful barn conversion in a stunning location. We loved the arrival treats of wine, chilled water, milk and scones with cream and jam! It really was a ‘home from home,’ with everything you could need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Pony Stalls is so close to Wimbleball Lake and perfect for walking. A great base to explore Exmoor and the surrounding area.
