Vacation rentals with beach access in South Carlsbad State Beach

Spotless and very comfortable place that looks exactly like the pictures. Very comfortable beds and linens and we loved hanging out on the back patio enjoying the cool evenings. The Keurig was a plus. We walked to the ocean a couple of times but to go swimming at the main beach we opted to drive. We loved Aja's place and can't wait to come back!

We had a great stay! Dave and Sharon are wonderful hosts who helped us with lots of tips. Communication was very quick and easy. We can recommend the apartment and would definitely come back.

The location was great, close to many restaurants and shops, great ocean breeze, great ocean view from the room, beautiful grounds, and 5 minutes from my sons house on Camp Pendleton!

Great stay at Marabella! The views were stunning from our room! Located right on the water, walking distance from many shops and restaurants. The patio was nice and grounds were well kept and clean. The beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and outdoor shower was definitely appreciated. It was perfect!

Our son was the primary guest at this property while he interned at a local law office. We were able to leave him and return to Texas feeling very comfortable with his accommodations. Location was perfect, centrally located, close to village dining and shopping as well as walk to the beach. He enjoyed his time and looks forward to another visit. Thank you so much for the amazing communication and well kept property.

We stayed at Christie’s apartment for two stays during a one week trip. Both stays were overall pleasant . Very nice view from the front balcony where you are able to see both the ocean and sunset, you are also able to hear the waves crash at night. Nice interior with plenty of space for two remote workers. Nice coffee shops within a walkable distance for lunch breaks and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. There were also many great restaurants within a few minutes drive of the apartment and a mall in Carlsbad 15 minutes away with many retailers. The only issue I ran into with our stays is one neighbor two houses down was rather hostile towards parking near her property, although it’s public street parking. Overall, I would stay again, I would just make it a point to park on the other side of the road.

I loved the location, we could walk to coffee in the morning. A few great food options are close. The kitchen was fully equipped for anyone wanting to cook, we didn't because the food choices were too good in the area.

Amazing stay start to finish and would highly recommend to anyone. Noah and Rena are helpful and communicative; their experience as hosts is immediately apparent as they make everything easy for their guests. The place was clean, comfortable, easily accessible, has parking, great amenities and all at a great price.

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

This was the perfect place to wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. It was quiet and had a great view of the ocean. The deck was a peaceful place to eat meals, hang out and read. Super close to the beach and great restaurants. We will be back.

We initially planned to stay in Leucadia for a week but decided to extend our stay for a full second week because we loved this place so much. The location is absolutely perfect. We walked to the Beacons beach to surf every day and had our pick of all the best restaurants on the 101 (highly recommend Birdseye Kitchen). The house itself is cozy and surprisingly private for a place on the 101. It helped to have laundry on site and Chris was responsive throughout our visit. The house isn't as well stocked as a lot of air bnbs (no wine glasses, coffee, ice cube trays, etc.) but you will probably want to eat out most of your stay anyway because there are so many great places within walking distance. We definitely plan to come back and highly recommend this charming little nook in Leucadia! Excellent cost for value.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! Our hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, which made us feel welcome right away. We were in town to help our son explore the area as he prepares to relocate, and this spot turned out to be a great home base. The location was quiet, comfortable, and super convenient. We especially enjoyed morning walks to the nearby coffee shop and a longer scenic walk to Carlsbad. The space was full of light, clean and cozy, with a great shower and a surprisingly comfy sofa bed. Overall, a charming place that served us well. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at this kid-friendly Airbnb! The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a smooth and fun trip with little ones — beach toys, a stroller, and even outdoor mini golf! It made our park visits and beach days so much easier and more enjoyable. The home itself was beautifully decorated and perfectly matched our taste — we honestly joked that we wished we could live there! Every detail added to the comfort and charm of our stay. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating of our needs, and the location was ideal — close to all the San Diego attractions we had planned to visit. Karl’s Airbnb is a home away from home in a beautiful, safe, quiet neighborhood!! We loved our stay here, from the decor, to the amenities and suggestions for restaurants and attractions, to the easy access to the beach and nearby gliderport, we had an amazing time! Karl is also very friendly and always responsive, which we appreciated. He sent thorough instructions beforehand to ensure we found the location, and everything was very easy to access. It’s just out of the way enough to be quiet, but places like San Diego, Coronado, and Encinitas are closeby for exploring! If you’re looking for a beautiful stay in a convenient location, this is it! Great stay. Plenty of room for a family of four. Very clean with everything you could need. We spend a lot of time enjoying the roof top view. Loved the convenience of the beach toys locker. Enjoyed walks to Harbor Village for fish and chips and breakfast at the Stratford. Sea lions were a fun bonus. Would definitely stay again. Top notch hosts!

My partner enjoyed all the amenities and relaxing near the beach was perfect for our get away. The staff was friendly and showed us great stores and restaurants to go to. Would definitely book again.

I couldn’t have chosen a better place to visit my son, who is currently serving in the Marines. We were both able to rest deeply in a big, soft, comfortable bed something we hadn’t shared in a long time. The house had everything we needed; if I needed something from the kitchen, it was there. Nothing was missing. I was able to cook for him, we shared a beach day, and for a few days, it felt like we were home again. It was a safe, cozy, and truly special place. I’m deeply grateful for this week and for the joy of spending it with my son. 5 stars without a doubt! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe stay full of heart.

Dalma’s place was wonderful for our family. It was private and had a fenced in shared backyard space, which was great for our little kids. She had wonderful extras such as the beach items, coffee options for the morning, kids toys and books, and plenty of blankets if needed when it cooled off at night. Beach and restaurants were close within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Definitely somewhere I would book for another stay! Nice little get away only step from the beach my fiancé and I spent every night once home with the windows open to hear the crashing waves and would just hangout on the balcony enjoying every minute of peaceful bliss!

Ms.Sandy provided a very welcoming AirBnB rental to relax and decompress in. From her initial inactions, she was extremely helpful with detailed instructions and helpful suggestions. As a bonus, the HOA also offered recommendations on places locally to dine at and entertainment. It’s the combination of these two that make for an enjoyable experience. Ms. Sandy’s place is clean and features 2 smart tvs for your entertainment pleasure. Just remember to log out of your streaming service before checking out. If you need a bit of fresh air, the beach is close by, along with the harbor with eateries and entertainment. Or just walk around the compound and enjoy the various water features and koi pond. For you golfers, bring your putter and enjoy the putting green. There’s also a swimming pool and gym, however the beach is just minutes away. You can definitely put your trust in Ms. Sandy for a very enjoyable experience.

This is our family second time coming to Oceanside. The home is clean close to the beach and restaurants. Cassandra does a great job communicating and getting back to you. We’ve never had any issues or any concerns. We’ll definitely be back for a third time. We absolutely love staying here.
