The village of Soulan and its hamlets are located in a beautiful green setting, in the heart of the Ariège Pyrénées Regional Natural Park.

Located outside a small, quiet hamlet (altitude 800 metres) at the end of a winding road, the south-facing barn enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, and is surrounded by fields and woods - with no vis-à-vis! Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

La Petite Maison Gîte

Come and enjoy a beautiful view of the Pyrenees mountain range in this house nestled in the heart of the Regional Natural Park. On the ground floor, a living room with a wood-burning stove, an open kitchen and a small laundry room. On the 1st floor, a bathroom with toilet. 2 bedrooms, one large with dressing room and 160 X 200 bed and one small mainly for children with 90 X 200 bunk beds. Private parking and adjoining south-facing garden. River, hiking trails and many activities nearby.

La Pauzette gîte with views of the Ariège Pyrenees

Relaxation guaranteed in this cosy and spacious accommodation located at an altitude of 900 m with a breathtaking view of the Valier mountain. The green setting will seduce you... The accommodation is fully equipped and has a private terrace. It is attached to our house but the entrance is independent. On site, there is a Nordic bath and a sauna which can be booked on the day of arrival or in advance of course but it is an additional service not included in the rental price.

Within the eco-friendly "La Colline aux Chevreuils", located on the heights of Volvestre facing the Pyrenees, less than an hour from Toulouse. La Cabane du Chevreuil welcomes you to a 4 ha permaculture site for a comfortable, exotic and informative stay in the heart of nature. Optionally in the evening, a platter of 10 varieties of farm cheeses will be served in the cabin or outside to admire the sunset accompanied by salad and wine as well as gourmet homemade desserts.

Discover the many hiking trails, bike paths, horseback rides, the Thermen in Aulus les Bains, the waterfall d'Ars, the reserve of Mont Valier, étang de Lers, lac de Bethmale, le cirque de Cagateille, ... Saint-Girons: min 20, Massat: 20 min, Aulus les Bains: 30 min, Guzet neige (ski station): 40 min.

Rustic and warm mountain grangette

Small barn located in an inhabited hamlet at 860 meters altitude, 6 km from Massat. 'Cosy', warm and rustic, renovated with eco-friendly materials, it is 150 meters from the parking lot at the end of a small winding and steep path. This quiet place will allow you to return to nature and simplicity. Outdoor dry toilet. Possibility of access to an outdoor bathroom in the middle of nature if hot water is available. Various walks and hikes on site.

Welcome to Playras! Come and recharge your batteries in this tiny hamlet, a little piece of heaven perched at 1100 m altitude, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. Multiple hikes possible without taking your car. We'll be happy to let you know!
