Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sooke

The Otter Point Farm Cottage was super cute and the surroundings stunning. Sheep and cows roamed the fields and lots of wildlife like deers and birds. Elizabeth was a super host and we felt very welcome and at home. Very close to the beach and great hiking trails all around. Wild mountain food & drink restaurant was over favorite. Lots of local breweries and things to explore.

The Swell House is the best home we have ever stayed at, anywhere, in the past 10+ years we've been on Airbnb. Waking up to beautiful views of the water, the sound of the waves, sipping a warm mug of coffee while bird watching, are just the start of each incredible day of our weekend. We also decompressed in the private sauna facing the water at sunset. Inside the home, every room was stocked with everything you could possibly need, including some personal touches and extreme attention to detail. The expansive yard was perfect for our dogs, and also had a bountiful garden growing fresh veggies. We enjoyed using the grill each night accompanied by the produce. In the evenings, we relaxed by the wood burning stove and listened to the record collection. Throughout the weekend I barely used my phone as I felt so relaxed and connected with the coast. We will definitely be visiting again and we look forward to our next stay at the Swell House!

Gerry was incredibly polite and genuine throughout our stay, making it truly comfortable and enjoyable. He was very friendly and kind to us as foreign guests, responding quickly whenever we had any concerns. I believe the host's character is crucial when using Airbnb, and this place is absolutely outstanding in that regard. The house was wonderful - everything we needed was provided, and we never felt like we were missing anything. The stylish kitchen and bedrooms made us feel elegant and relaxed every day, and my entire family was completely satisfied. The surrounding area is fantastic - rich in nature and remarkably quiet both day and night. There's a playground nearby, which is great for families with young children. This was our first family trip using Airbnb, and thanks to Gerry, it was an amazing experience. Our son loved the house so much that he cried because he didn't want to leave, so we're definitely planning to come back again.

The log cabin was the perfect place for us to stay after an epic West Canada road trip. Quiet, comfortable, relaxing. Walkable to nearby supermarkets and places to eat. Great communication, checking in on us to make sure all was well. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. Devanie was amazing, she went extra mile to get us an anti-slip mat and make sure we have enough propane gas for the BBQ grill. The surrounding was delightful, we were lucky to see a few deers in the backyard as well as a double rainbow. Will definitely try again during summer!

We loved the location, it was better than the description, the host gave us a detailed information of whatever we needed to know, I would definitely recommend this place. It is a piece of heaven. Two local pubs and cafes, what worked so good for us were the chargers for our electric cars. The view was extraordinary.

This was the second time we stayed at the Haidaway each stay was for a full month. Clearly we love it there, lovely accommodation in a super location. We did lots of hiking and sightseeing. Five stars all the way!

We had a nice stay of three weeks at this Airbnb. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Victoria as well as close to stunning hiking trails. The place was very clean. We liked that it had a large TV in the living room and another one in the master bedroom. The gas fireplace in the living room was perfect for taking the chill off of the downstairs area in the morning, the only time we felt we needed to use it. The master bedroom was spacious with lots of closet space and drawers. We used the second bedroom as an office, and liked that there was enough space for two people to work. The upstairs bathroom featured a huge walk-in shower that was a real treat. We also enjoyed meeting the owner and his friendly dog, Biscuit, who live next door. We thought this airbnb was very reasonably priced and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Ryan’s place was great! Felt like staying in a tiny home. Everything was laid out nicely and was functional. He graciously offered us to hang out in the property and it was very beautiful. He was also responsive and very accommodating. Would recommend! However it would not be a good space to stay if you have mobility problems (accessing the loft area). For us it worked out great!

Absolutely wonderful stay. I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay an additional week (from the original 28 day stay). Cute lower-level suite with all the right touches. The host family is absolutely wonderful (Wanda and Warren). They had me feeling right at home (away from home) with exceptional hospitality. The property is private and inviting for any sports or nature enthusiasts. A stones-throw from nature hikes, the recreation centre, and downtown Sidney. I highly recommend and will be staying again!

Deanna is a great host very accommodating and responsive. This is our second time staying at her place. Location is perfect to watch our son racing who was participating in Shawnigan regatta. Looking forward to stay here again next year!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Easy, simple and a property that exceeded our expectations. The view is second to none. The place is very comfortable and well laid out inside and out. Everything was awesome and I’d highly recommend a stay. It wil not disappoint.

The place was very well maintained and stocked up on necessities. Jordan was quite active and responsive in answering a questions we had. The neighborhood is very peaceful and well connected with the city. We had a great time and definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway.

We spent two nights at Shannon’s place and had a wonderful experience. The property looked exactly like the photos, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time—playing games, sitting around the fire, and relaxing in the hot tub. Shannon was very responsive. On the morning of our check-in, I reached out to let her know about a small change in our plans—we needed a crib and high chair. She replied right away and assured us it was no problem. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked—far beyond our expectations. There were plenty of spices, foil, Ziploc bags, etc…

Private and peaceful. Great connection with nature. Can’t describe in words, should be there and enjoy every moment of being surrounded by trees and woods. Very accessible to beaches and hiking trails.

Beautiful home in an out-of-the-way area. Kitchen was well stocked, everything tidy and clean. Perfect for our family of three. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Marissa’s cozy cabin! The beautiful woodwork and fresh wood smell made the place feel warm and inviting from the moment we walked in. The bedrooms were cute, comfy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit for evenings under the stars, and the indoor chimney added the perfect touch of charm. The games were a fun bonus too! Highly recommend for a peaceful and cozy getaway.

Beautiful property and very cool house; as advertised. The owners live on the same property in a seperate building, but they give you your privacy and it didn't bother us at all. Love the way the place was decorated, and the master bed was very comfortable (can't speak for the other 2 beds as there was only my partner and I). The deer and rabits outside the window when we woke up was a nice surprise! It is about a 25min drive away to get anywhere, but the country neighborhood is nice to drive through. Lots of walking/hiking trails in the area. Would recommend!

Port Renfrew is a wonderfully beautiful remote location that's definitely worth exploring. After being out on the beaches and hiking trails all day, Tim's cabin was the perfect place to come back to and relax. It's the cutest cabin with everything you need to make yourself comfortable. I appreciated how clean the cabin was on arrival. And Tim is indeed a Superhost! He's extremely responsive and I felt very welcome. I'll definitely be back!
