I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! Ryan was incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The place was spotless, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect—just a short drive from some stunning hiking trails, making it easy to enjoy nature. Whether you're an avid hiker or just looking for a peaceful getaway, this spot is ideal. Roomy, comfy and clean; good bed. Though I didn’t use the kitchen much, it appeared well equipped. Easy drive to downtown Victoria and a 15-20 minute walk to Esquimalt shopping and coffee places. The neighbourhood is residential, pretty, and very quiet - provided a peaceful respite after busy days. The ocean-side park at the bottom of the street is a nice bonus.

A wonderful stay in an absolutely stunning location! The photos and description are perfectly accurate, and the place is wonderful to spread out relax or use as a homebase while visiting Sidney. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and stocked full of amenities, and the kitchen is very functional with a great open room and beautiful balcony overlooking the water. Victoria is about a 25 minutes drive away (depending on traffic) but the suite is close to many amenities including stores, restaurants, the Victoria Airport and the ferries to Vancouver. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying here! Perfect size for two people. It feels so warm and private to walk through the beautiful gate in to the perfectly manicured courtyard. Christine gave excellent, clear instructions on how to use the fancy shower. We very much appreciated the washer and dryer, and access to streaming on the TV. Kitchen is a small galley, but it suited us just fine. Elegant, clean bathroom with the coolest shower ever, and the luxury of a bidet. Would definitely stay here again. Private, safe, and well-cared for. Met Christine once and she was lovely and welcoming. Also, this is quite close to a great brewery! Bonus!

We enjoyed our stay, which was relaxing, comfortable and felt like home. The bed and couch are both comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. What a treat to have croissants in the freezer! We were pleased that we could bring our dog with us. The Airbnb is close to Shawnigan Lake, a couple of blocks away. We hope to return.

We had a fabulous stay at Rhona’s place. The accommodations were so comfortable and felt like we were right at home. Rhona goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome with fresh flowers, cookies and a well stocked kitchen and bathroom to make sure you have everything you could need. Great location, convenient access to downtown and the ferry terminal. Would absolutely recommend this guest suite to anyone looking to visit Victoria!

If you're looking for a luxurious escape, look no further! This beautifully designed and well kept home is the place to be with friends or family. The home is spacious, sparkling clean and has everything you need to stay with travelling families. We loved the private beach access for our toddler to explore, there is a private backyard to run around in too. This is truly a dream home for us to stay in!

This was such a relaxing location with a beautiful view. We were able to cook some meals in the kitchen with the available pots and pans. We really appreciated the binoculars, and the clear instructions

I've hardly ever written a review for a rental, but I'm writing one for this house because it was really wonderful. We received nice, clear instructions on how to find the house plenty ahead of time. The house was perfectly clean, and all the furniture and kitchen items were in very good condition. The porch is very large and has a wonderful view, and one is right on the water on a perfect little pebble beach. We also liked the more general location very much; in particular the house is about 1.5 miles from the English Camp Park, which was very nice for a run.

The stay at the little house on the west coast was impeccable. My husband and I needed a break and the stay here was exactly what we needed. An impeccably clean and peaceful home with a beautiful view. We felt we could stay on the balcony forever looking out to the ocean, listening to birds and watching wildlife. Tess was so thoughtful and detailed with providing information that we would need. It truly was a wonderful stay and we are already planning our next trip here!

This place is a gem. Looking over the water, watching the seals and birds was so peaceful. The house is very well equipped and beautifully done. Can’t say enough about this place. Enjoy!

We had originally booked this home for May 2024 but we had to cancel last minute because of a passport mess-up. Josie was kind enough to credit us the stay and let us reschedule. Once we arrived, our jaws dropped. The photos don’t do justice how stunning this space is. I leapt around the first 24 hours because I was so thrilled to be there with my friends, celebrating life. The beds are a dream, the forest is enchanting and we could not get enough of the outdoor shower/sauna experience. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!!

I would definitely stay here again. The view was so beautiful - big windows and deck to enjoy the ocean and forest views. The place was spotless, with nice furnishings and decor and the layout was perfect for our group of two moms and 4 teens/pre-teens. We loved that there was a TV/games room downstairs where the kids could hang out while we enjoyed the quiet upstairs. Great to have two sofa beds too for flexible sleeping arrangements. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook great meals. There’s so much to do in the area around here.

Liisa's place was perfect for a weekend getaway from Vancouver. The view was beautiful and the home was cozy. Would definitely stay again.

This house looked exactly like the pictures and was very comfortable for our family of six. It’s conveniently close to numerous fantastic activities, with Fisherman’s Wharf just around the corner. The beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was beautifully furnished and fully equipped. It is a wonderful place to stay, and I highly recommend it!

Wonderful place to stay. We came without a car and were able to walk everywhere: Cook Street Village, Beacon Hill park, downtown, Chinatown, the inner harbour. Being able to watch the ships from the front room and walk along the seafront right out the front door was amazing. The house is luxurious and spotlessly clean. A great getaway spot!

Nice place. Great location Closet was small and furnishings were a bit out of scale and dated. Pillows were mis matched. Kitchen was clunky with no oven just a toaster oven. Noise from the garage door and cars coming and going was irritating. Kit drawer did not work, and drawer front was separated. Threshold to bath was splintered. Overall just needed some careful maintenance.

Robert was a wonderful host with great suggestions for outings and shared his knowledge of the wildlife and area. The highlight for me was watching the family of sea otters fish in the ocean from the beautiful beach deck! We absolutely did not want to leave!

Stunning views and a wonderful space with a delightful garden. We loved it here and did not want to leave. This property has access to the ocean, and a huge deck to watch the ocean and wildlife. The suites are well appointed, clean and spacious. The suites even included binoculars! We would recommend this spot - it was well worth the drive.

We had an incredible stay at this stunning property perched on the ocean in Shirley, BC! The views of the Olympic Mountains from the premium hot tub were nothing short of breathtaking, especially when we spotted humpback whales at dusk on our first night—pure magic! The property itself at moments may feel more like a swanky international hotel with its backlit onyx kitchen and luxurious rain shower yet nestled in the rustic beauty of the coast. Our host, Robert, was incredibly kind and attentive, immediately offering his charging station for our car—a real relief. Highly recommend this place for an exceptional, premium coastal retreat close to Victoria!
