Stay was nice and relaxing. Lots of beaches to visit in surrounding area and good trails to walk.

We have stayed at this place a few times now and always enjoy our visit. It’s perfect for a big group, has a well stocked kitchen, a cozy fireplace and a wonderful hot tub with views of the beautiful yard. Will be back next year!

This was our second time at Dave & Amanda’s place so there wasn’t much communication needed as we knew how to settle right in! This place is lovely, has everything we need to be comfy and check out for a few days. It’s quiet, peaceful and cozy. The dishes were all clean, there were no dusty corners or cobwebs anywhere, it’s a really well cared for place.

we spent the weekend for my sisters birthday with a group of girls, comfortable setting, getting up early and watching the ocean and exploring the trails near by was wonderful. We will totally be back, even better than pictured!

We loved our stay here! The cabin is beautifully designed and so cozy with the fireplace and heated bathroom floors. We were able to prepare a great meal using the BBQ and kitchen essentials provided. There are some beautiful hikes in the area (Mystic beach!) and an amazing cafe, Shirley Delicious, is right at the top of the road to the cabin. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax, thank you so much Melodie!

Michael’s cottage is an exceptional place in an absolutely perfect location. The main floor of the house is amazing with breath-taking views of Shawnigan Lake. It’s incredibly calm, serene and quiet and the perfect place to cook and relax after a day of hiking. Sitting in the hot tub, overlooking the lake and surrounded by over a foot of snow was an incredible feeling. Everything about our stay was great. Thank you Michael!

A lovely little cabin. They were very accommodating to us and will definitely come back when they’ve completed all their finishing touches!

Karen's place was awesome! A private little cabin walkable to the ocean, beautiful views within the complex (this is a neighbourhood of other similar cabins), within walking distance to the restaurants and cafes in the area. It was a great launching point for us to go to sombrio, botanical beach and other points of interest in the area. It was comfy, clean and spacious. Easy lock box check in. We'd certainly recommend and stay again.

Richard and Rebecca are some of the best hosts I’ve ever had! So lovely, beyond helpful abc accommodating and their home is so beautiful and in such a great location! Highly reccomend if you’re in the South Island area!

Kim’s place on Shawnigan Lake was incredibly beautiful. The cottage is really well laid out and we enjoyed the time we spent there. It needs a bit of TLC in some spots, but it has a well-stocked kitchen and it was easy to make meals. There was an issue with the water filter and Kim was super responsive and helped us get it fixed quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy stay :) Jason gave us a heads up that the power in the town was out several hours before our arrival and provided us with updates every hour. He gave us the opportunity to change our plans if needed. We are happy we ended up deciding to still come because the power came back very shortly after arriving. The house heated back up quickly and we had a wonderful time going to some of the places Jason recommended.

Wonderful hosts, very friendly. Absolutely amazing weekend, would 100% book this place again. The lake was beautiful, and the local food and people were wonderful and friendly.

This won’t be surprising because it’s been said in every review. This place is amazing. To have an acre and a half of private, oceanfront property is rare. We loved everything. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine listening to the waves come in was sublime. Corinne is for sure the quickest, friendliest, most generous host I’ve encountered through Airbnb. Bathrooms had great water pressure. When we had a little downtime, the TV was big and fantastic. The hikes around the area are just top notch. What people haven’t mentioned though is Corinne doesn’t have a lengthy ‘clean to do list’ for when you leave. I also think people are walking away from Airbnb’s due to price gouging. This place is crazy reasonable and I will come again! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We couldn’t recommend Kevin’s place enough. Perfect location for a relaxing getaway on the beautiful Salt Spring Island. We felt right at home and the space was perfect for travelling with our dogs. The cottage is clean, spacious, comfortable. Will definitely stay again!

We loved everything about the rustic west coast cabin and would highly recommend to others looking for a peaceful glamping experience. The property is very private and super quick access to the beach, just a quick scramble away! We especially enjoyed the cozy fire, ambience of the lights & the sounds of the stream. Overall just a very magical weekend getaway!

Al’s place was the perfect landing spot for our trip to Vancouver island! Close to everything including Victoria and Butchart gardens and the home was impeccably clean and cozy. Our host was super responsive and helpful 👍

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time here! The space is small, cozy, and warm—perfect for a relaxing getaway for two. It felt super private, with our own entrance and outdoor area, which we really appreciated. The living room was a great spot to wind down with Netflix after a day of exploring. The location is also great, not too far from Duncan and other attractions.Overall, it was a peaceful little retreat that left us feeling refreshed. Thanks for having us!

Gloria was so lovely to deal with and their property was exactly what we needed. A perfect beach camp with great accessibility to the marina, beach and pubs and Coastal Kitchen is a 20min walk. The sauna was fantastic, we loved having evening camp fires and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to whip up any meal. I loved the mattress on the king size bed...took a photo of the label :) The house is in the same camp that my brother and his family live, so we will absolutely be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! It’s within easy walking distance to the beach, a great local coffee shop, a grocery store, and nice restaurants. Cindy is very friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay on the property. There are countless beautiful and accessible trails to explore. The property is peaceful, private and comfortable. We met some of the neighbors as we had a long stay and they were all very great people. Our hosts had the neighbor Bob keep an eye on the place as they were away for the majority of our stay. Bob was a great help with any issue that came up and took very good care of us. There’s a lot of beautiful nature to take in and much quieter than a stay in town.

The place is really nice. Private driveway hides the house. Everything in the house is clean and comes handy. We especially enjoyed the large back yard where my dog played three days of fetch. Would definitely come back in the summer to explore some water activities on the lake.

Emily's place was cozy and welcoming and felt just like a cottage should and the fireplace was a really nice touch for those rainy nights. She was friendly and helpful with answering any questions that I had. I would happily stay here again
