Vacation rentals with lake access in Sodus Bay

Lori's place was perfect for our annual visit to the Finger Lakes. She has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable- the beds are some of the most comfortable we've stayed in. The kitchen is well appointed with pots, pans, cooking utensils, and we were able to make breakfast every morning before heading out to the wineries- there is even a wine cooler for our favorite white wines! The weather was perfect, and we had our coffee on the back deck every morning by the lake, and enjoyed a blazing fire every night! This area offers so much to do and see, and Lori's place is a great location providing waterfront comfort, and close to the wineries and restaurants. We were able to visit Mackenzie Childs, do a free house tour, then shop in the store- highly recommended! We also went to Skaneateles for some fun girls shopping, took the boat tour, and visited Anyelas winery for live music with a beautiful view! Lori's place is perfect for visiting this area, we give it 5 stars!

We had a very relaxing 3-night stay! Waking up to the view of the lake and enjoying a bonfire as the sun set were the best ways to start and end a day of hiking and visiting wineries. The space is much bigger than I had anticipated which was a nice surprise. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. There is a gas station about 2 miles up the road too which was very convenient. I can’t stress how peaceful the view was! Even caught a couple fish right off the dock. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

This is a great house in a beautiful place. Really great if you want to be outside and fully experience the lake. Walkout access to the lake and lots of "toys". We could see this being a lot of fun for groups of friends or couples as well. We were a family and it had what we needed, but could clearly support a more social setup too. Daniel was great. He called us as soon as we had a question and helped us several times. It had everything we wanted.

My family and I had a great stay over the holidays. The place was as described, with three good sized bedrooms, nice bathrooms, and plenty of common space. Very dog friendly and games available to keep everyone occupied. It’s nicely set back from the road to feel more private and allow the dogs to roam in the yard without worry. We did leash the dogs by the lake because it was partly frozen but not totally. We enjoyed spending time by the fire and watching the snow fall, beautiful spot!

We had a great stay at our wine weekend. It was the perfect location for wineries and dining. Lots to do in the area. Home was just what we were looking for, communication with the home owners was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

I just wanted to thank you for everything you did for us!! Your home is lovely and I would definitely stay again! We had 3 feet of snow and he plowed everything everyday for us since we worked nights! Beautiful spot you can see the Bay!

Beautiful lake views! Pluses: This house is located on a hill across the street from Canandaigua Lake with a boathouse right on the water. 4 bedrooms, 21/2 baths. The house was clean and neat, and the host was always responsive. There is an indoor hot tub in a beautiful back room (though we didn’t get a chance to use it). The house is a pleasant short drive to downtown Canandaigua. Things to note: Unique layout due to the octagonal shape of the house. There is a circular staircase in the middle of the house, but the upper area can also be accessed from the back door at the top of the driveway. There are a lot of rules, but they were easy enough to follow. Security deposit is required, which I have found is not typically the case with Airbnb’s. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

The Point at Eagle Cove did not disappoint! Sarah has thought of all the small details to create a home away from home with all the luxuries. My group of 4 adult women spent 3 nights during the fall. The view is breathtaking. The lake is just steps from the front door. From coffee to cocktails the outdoor patio and fire pit were a hit. We enjoyed using the paddle boards, canoe and outdoor blankets provided. Inside, we all slept very comfortably! Beds were either firm or plushy to fit different guests preferences. All 3 bathrooms were steps away from each our rooms- all very clean and updated. The common areas of the kitchen (fully stocked) and living room were cozy, clean and well- furnished. The decor is very welcoming and well- thought out. Sarah is very prompt with communication- answering questions, meeting us to check in and going over all details/instructions for the house. The house location is close to the spa and the town of Skaneateles. We absolutely would love to come back!

Jamie's place is amazing! The airbnb is spacious, clean, and quiet. There is a restaurant right there and views of Lake Ontario within walking distance. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautifully decorated, clean, and private location!

Jason's place was very clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bedroom and bathroom linens were particularly nice. It was a cool weekend, and we appreciated the extra blanket and space heater when we were relaxing during the day. The building is older, so there are some quirky things about it. The corridor and stairway are quite steep and narrow, so it would be challenging for someone with mobility issues. We had a little bit of trouble finding the house at night and finding nearby parking, but the area feels safe. Jason's communication was excellent. Thank you for a great stay!

Great place to stay to be near family for the holiday! Near shops, restaurants, grocery, and expressways. Parking was a breeze, as was getting in and the space was open and inviting. Kitchen is very well stocked…there is a full coffee maker in edition to a Keurig.

Loved staying at the cottage! Very peaceful, perfect for one person or a couple visiting Geneva. Quick drive to town but in a quiet area. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our Sister provided this wonderful place to stay in for our Nephews Wedding. Even the visit was short it was a wonderful place to stay Geneva has a wonderful feeling super nice people and unbelievable food. We are planning a trip back to this area ❤️

Although our stay was brief (we were in town on business), Tim's place was super clean, quiet, and we enjoyed our trip.

The Cottages were beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. It was nice and hot out so it was necessary to have AC and each cottage had AC that worked great. The lake was perfect and we were able to easily get out there every day we stayed. The place was pet friendly, so we brought our Golden, who also enjoyed the water. The views are perfect and everyone had so much fun. Bruce was very communicative and friendly. Although we got confused by parking at first that was easily fixed ( our problem with reading the directions). If you want a place to stay where everyone can get together or have their own space this is the place right on Canandaigua Lake!

Jason’s cozy bungalow had everything we were looking for in a quick weekend getaway from Rochester- quiet and peaceful setting with a view of Honeyoye Lake at the end of the street, a perfectly appointed kitchen, and all the little details we loved about the listing. I can imagine it’s even better in the summer! The home was spotless when we arrive so we could get right to relaxing. Definitely recommend .

Kevin's hideaway was the perfect spot for Thanksgiving and my mom's 90th birthday. The open floor plan encouraged lively chats while the turkey roasted, and the firewood made for memorable teen bonfires. My brother relaxed with the game on a cozy couch, and thoughtful touches like safety gates and a laundry room kept mom comfortable. On Black Friday morning, we said goodbye to our guests, then sat by the picture window with coffee, watching a snowy front roll in. As waterfowl glided across the waves, it felt like time stopped, and we realized this place was perfect for making memories.

Jeannine was an excellent host. This was our first Airbnb experience and it went phenomenally. 100% recommend her as a host.

This host went above and beyond with details and everything was exactly as described. The home was extremely clean, which for a clean freak like me-is wonderful! Lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and flexible. Beautiful place to stay inside and the view of Lake Ontario is spectacular on the outside! Hope to go again sometime before summer is over!

First time staying near Lake Ontario. The home was adorably cute/cozy! Even saw some deer in the neighborhood. Will definitely stay here again and definitely recommend!

The view of the lake from the back deck was amazing. The place itself was beautiful with the spiral staircases and very spacious. The place was so clean and tidy before checking in. The breweries and wineries in the area gave us so much to do and were so fun to do tastings at. Job always responded within a few minutes of messaging and gave clear instructions as well. We even got a complimentary late check out, which was very nice of them. Parking was a little tight in the front of the house, but Job mentioned that prior. All in all, we had a great time and the place was worth every penny!

Highly recommend this cottage! Beautiful views right across the street from the lake. Comfortable beds, 1.5 baths, it was perfect for a girls weekend getaway with 5 girls. (2 shared a room, one slept on a futon in the living room) but plenty of space and comfortable! The first night our heat wasn’t working, I messaged Catherine and she came over right away. She was helpful and got the heat working and super prompt. Definitely want to go back!!!
