There is a short distance to ALL the facilities and experiences both summer and winter: Maihaugen, Olympia Park, Hafjell, Hunderfossen, Lilleputthammer, Sjusjøen, and much more.

Cabin in the mountains

Charming farmhouse for rent. Location at Hafjell in the immediate vicinity of Pellestova and Ilsetra, in an area with good opportunities for activities for the whole family. In spring, summer and autumn there is a road all the way up to the cabin. The cabin is located in a cozy seating area with great hiking trails right nearby and with a short distance to Hafjell (2 km to drive to Gaiastova which is the closest starting point for alpine skiing). In winter, you have to walk about 250 meters on skis or snowshoes from a free parking lot.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 min. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. The cottage Bestebu is located in Sjusjøens finest cabin area, Heståsmyra. It was built in 2021, with high quality and contains everything you need. The location is unique - on a large and airy plot 920 meters above sea level, with a wide view without being overlooked by others. The cabin next door is rarely in use at the same time as the rental, so it is quiet and peaceful here. Put on your skis and slide 50 meters down to one of the world's best ski slopes, or go hiking or biking on trails in the summer. You are most welcome!

Cozy cottage in North Mesna where you can relax with your whole family. The cabin has a cozy atmosphere with a big fireplace. Lovely to enjoy the evenings and not least get up for pleasant mornings. The cabin is about 10 minutes away from Norway's largest ski destination which is Sjusjøen, where there are miles of ski slopes and ski resorts. Lillehammer city centre about 15 min drive, you will visit Jorekstad Recreational Bath, Hafjell alpine facilities, Hunderfossen or Lilleputthammer it is about 30 min drive there.

Soverom med bred dobbelseng (200x180, kommode, skap; stue med liten sofa og tv, kjøkken med kokeplate, oppvaskmaskin, kjøleskap og liten stekeovn; bad med dusj, wc og vask og en fin uteplass med bekkesus og fuglekvitter. Til tross for rolige omgivelser er stedet ikke langt fra Lillehammer sentrum, 10 minuter til fots, med sykkel går det mye fortere. Til matbutikken to minutter. Buss stopper rett utenfor huset, p-plass med lademulighet. Stor innsjø.

Located near Hafjell (8km) and family parks like Lilleputthammer and Hunderfossen (10km). 22 km north of Lillehammer. Walking distance to the river Lågen, for swimming and fishing, walking trails, and short distance to the Øyer mountains known for the many cross country ski tracks in the winter, and mountain bike and hiking trails in the summer.

There are duvets and pillows in the cabin, but you need to bring your own sheets and towels.

Fantastic view from the living room/kitchen and terrace towards Sjusjøvannet.
