Beautiful house, very well-equipped, very clean and quiet. Nothing is missing. Small pool that is very nice in hot weather. This one is heated. Very nice decoration. Ideally located to visit the Black Périgord. Very close to Beynac. Many sites within 20 minutes' drive. The Dordogne is very close (10 min walk) with the possibility of canoeing. Margot welcomed us with kindness. Very available while remaining discreet. We recommend this property.

An interesting layout for a beautiful cottage, it takes a bit to get used to it, amazing views, at the edge of the forest and the village. We had a wonderful time with our friends, lots of activities to do in the area and many places to visit. Thank you for you hospitality, Lumi & Liviu

If you are looking for a big beautiful house for a family holiday, look no further! This house is spacious, beautifully decorated, located in a quiet countryside but only ten minute drive to a big supermarket. We enjoyed the indoor pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and playing boules. Photos don’t do the house justice. It exceeded our expectations. Would recommend staying here and we would not hesitate to stay again. Lise was very responsive in her communication. We drove through the night to get to the house and Lise kindly offered us a one off earlier check in, which we were grateful for.

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

Fabulous gite in a gorgeous setting.

The reality matches the photos on the site. We had a great time in an old house typical of the Périgord region. Very well located, it allows for many visits. The view of the valley is superb with the setting sun or the sea of fog.

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

The house is as described, the host is very responsive, always there if needed. The garden is fenced, ideal for my dog. The Spar opposite is a benefit for a short stay.

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. Such a relaxing few days spent at this beautiful cottage. Nature, the local village and the sauna/hot tub were exactly what we needed

We loved our stay at Geoffrey Et Yohannas. The property had everything we needed and such a beautiful location with the view over Saint Cyprien. We spent many evenings on the terrace enjoying the peace and listening to the birds and the abbey bells ringing. Geoffrey et Yohanna made us feel very welcome and gave great recommendations on where to eat out. It was a fantastic base from which to explore this area of the Dordogne. We hope to come back sometime.

Check in was great with the host’s mother showing us around and the house was the perfect location for us, comfy and clean, to attend a wedding at Chateau de la Bourlie. The village itself there’s not a huge amount going on past 9pm but there was a lovely buzz on Sunday morning and it’s a good spot to explore the region from with easy connection via train if you need it. We enjoyed our stay and Matthieu and Melissa were lovely hosts.

These are the details that make the difference for a great stay in a home. That's exactly what happened to us when we put our suitcases in Yvette's house. Whether in terms of equipment or consumables, we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and abundance of the products offered. This house has, in my opinion, everything you need for a great time. Cleanliness, layout, quality of furniture and decor. Everything is done to make you feel at home at Yvette's. To be honest, you might feel like it's a friend lending you their place for a few days. I can only invite you to enjoy this house located in one of the most beautiful regions of France.

Pleasant cottage where you feel good right away, bright and well-equipped. Communication with Marie-Lys is easy and very pleasant. The location of the cottage is ideal for discovering this beautiful region.

We loved the house and especially the pool, at 35° outside temperature. Cécile was always available to us and helped us immediately. The many attractions within 40 km were very easy to reach from our house. Very good restaurants in about 10 km. I can highly recommend the place.

In a beautiful setting, we spent a week in Brigitte and Philippe's home. Very cozy accommodation (as described) with a quiet and peaceful exterior. Conducive to rest (swimming pool and its surroundings) after a day of visiting this beautiful region. Thanks again to our hosts for all the little touches they gave us during our stay.

A really pleasant stay at Otilia's, who always has a smile on her face. The house was by far the most impeccable we have rented for our getaways. We benefited from a kitchen just installed with many amenities. Otilia is a host who cares about hosting and also thinks about people with reduced mobility (spacious room with PRM equipment) as well as families with a small child. It's a place I recommend but leave me a few time slots, I intend to return. A big thank you to Otilia and her family for hosting us.
