This was a beautiful and unique get away for the weekend.

Loved the place and will be back! Was impressed by the animals roaming around. Very peaceful! We stayed in the cabin on the lake and it was perfect setting.

Check in and check out were very easy along with the host being very responsive! The area is beautiful and quiet and close to many outdoor activities and cute little towns. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in southern Illinois.

The place was clean and exactly as described, private and surrounded by nature. Connie and Jack are super friendly, proactive and quick to respond. Enjoyed the fishing pond and quiet evenings on the deck watching a Red-Shouldered hawk feed her young and baby squirrels playing. Lots of trails to hike in the area. No complaints!! Will book again!
