Monthly Rentals in Silda

Staying at ‘Tante Hannas Hus’ in Leirgulen was such an amazing experience! It’s the perfect spot if you love being surrounded by nature and want to feel completely off-grid. The house was spotless and so cozy, we felt instantly at home! Siri & Asle were absolutely incredible hosts and made our Christmas so special. They went out of their way to help us, even doing a grocery shop before we arrived since the shops were closed for the holidays. On Christmas Day, they took us on an amazing hike and let us cut down our own Christmas tree from their land. They even provided decorations, which was such a lovely touch! If you’re looking for a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path getaway with amazing hosts, this is the place. I couldn’t recommend it more and would love to come back! :)

Great host, great accommodation.

We really enjoyed our time on the island of Silda. If you are looking for peace, you will find it there. Gunhild always responded immediately and gave us helpful tips. It is easy to get to the island by boat and walk to the house. We can highly recommend a break on the island.

Nice and homey apartment. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Great starting point for mountain hiking and excursions on the whole of Stadtlandet. Feel free to come back on a later occasion ☺️
