We just spent a weekend at Francisco's house in Pozo Alcón, and we couldn't be happier. We were eight friends and the place was perfect for our stay. The house is spacious, very well maintained and has all the necessary amenities to enjoy to the fullest. In addition, it is in a quiet and sunny environment, ideal for disconnecting. Francisco was an excellent host, very attentive and always ready to help us with any questions. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a cozy place in Jaén. Wonderful stay in an awesome place. Ideal temperature, beautiful decor and style, with closeness and tranquility. Totally recommended, as the site fits any plan. From a getaway with friends (our case) to a romantic end or a family outing. We had a great time and will definitely be back. A charming place,ideal to disconnect and spend a few days surrounded by nature and very nice places to visit. The home is very cozy and with all the amenities to make you feel at home. Catalina is very attentive and close. In short, it was a getaway that we will definitely repeat again.

The house was very large, ideal for groups of quite people where everyone can have their space. The environment was very nice, there are no neighbors and it is like above in the mountain, so the views were worth it. It has a toilet per block, which makes it very easy if you see several and a very spacious kitchen living room. To put a pega, we went in August, out to eat in the pool area there were quite a few wasps, so I recommend bringing some kind of repellent to avoid being on it all the time, in the evening no problem. Another but it would be the access, it's a dirt road, which some stretches you have to be quite careful, also to keep in mind that the trash bins are quite far away. Otherwise, a great stay.

The house is just as seen in the photos, it was very clean, and the kitchen was very well-equipped. Very comfortable beds. Since it was cold, they turned on the heating beforehand and when we arrived the house was warm. The hot tub is a real plus. And the afternoons by the fireplace are a delight. Very quick and smooth communication with the host. To highlight the affection with which Montse treated us, always attentive to us, a lovely person. The people in the village are very friendly, we were very comfortable, if we return to the area we would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful relaxing week at El Cortijo Mirador. It is part of an old farmhouse with thick walls which make the interior cool, which was great in the heat of the day. The views of the surrounding mountains and olive groves are stunning. The pool is shared with other people also staying on the site. It was a lovely atmosphere. The owner,Reyes, was extremely helpful in telling us about the area and activities such as kayaking and hiring bikes. There is a lot to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed a visit to the market at Pozo Alcon on Monday and a wonderful walk in the mountains. Castril is a beautiful mountain village with white houses as well as a great municipal pool. Great value at 3 euros for the day. Gracias Reyes y Noella! Nos encantaba El Cortijo Mirador!

What's expected of a earth house, experience and being at home

The treatment has been spectacular from the moment, worried about our well-being. Everything was super clean and tidy, with all the amenities they advertised, the experience of living in the cave was unforgettable. They were super flexible with both check-in and check-out times. They are totally recommended and I have seen it quite well. The quiet area and the beautiful views.

Certainly recommend! This is a spacious and well-kept apartment, located in a quiet and peaceful place, with a wonderful view of the mountains. All equipment works. The owner and his family are very nice and friendly people, they try to do everything to make your stay comfortable and pleasant.

We went to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas with the whole family. We were 9 adults, multiple children and pets. We had a fantastic time. The house was very cozy, comfortable and relaxing. Each room with its own bathroom. The heating and the fireplace worked great and we didn't get cold at all. More on the contrary. The kitchen connected to the dining room was very pleasant so that we had the feeling of being connected all the time and facilitating the task of having the little ones guarded. The children had a pipe in the surroundings of the house making theirs with scooters and bicycles. In general the house is very prepared for the journey of 14 people. We will return for sure in summer as we stay eager to enjoy the pool and the shade of the vine, in addition to being able to make a barbecue. The very attentive and friendly hosts offered us options for whatever came up.

Beautiful little house in a small village with few inhabitants. The peace that you can breathe is incredible. The house is rural, and the garden is ideal with wonderful views. Amazing place in the mountains, an excellent location and Ramon a host of 10, we stopped there by chance and what was going to be one night were two, we will be back for sure. He provided us with all kinds of information on mountain routes, restaurants, and surrounding villages. You are a great Ramón

After some initial confusion on check-in (please check your Airbnb messages Manuel!), Tomas arrived to show us around the house and gave us recommendations for restaurants etc. Manuel's house is beautiful and full of authentic Spanish charm. The Moorish ceiling decoration in the hallway was particularly beautiful. Overall the house was very clean, with working air conditioning and an excellent shower. Having a garage for our car was fantastic as public parking in Úbeda is limited. The road outside the house is fairly wide by Spanish standards so you shouldn't have any issues getting in and out with a reasonably sized car. Relaxing in the courtyard during the evening by the fountain was a perfect way to end a long day.

From the first moment the host has been pending, giving all the possible facilities. The house was spotless and the place couldn't be nicer. Definitely a wonderful experience that we will definitely be re-hiring

Wonderful stay! The house is located in a dream place, surrounded by forest and if you are lucky you can see the deer stroll while you have breakfast on the porch. Foxes, and even a lizard and all nature within reach of your eyes and your feet. The house is very large and very cozy and with all amenities. Great cleanliness and very comfortable beds. A fireplace to sit and watch time go by. The location can't be more spectacular, you can see millions of stars at night and during the day you can walk along wonderful trails and paths. Without just coverage, you can make some calls but not a place to be aware of the mobile, it is a place to get lost and connect with nature. Ana and Camilo are very friendly. Camilo brought us a pair of loaves of bread that was nice to eat them. We can't be happier after those days spent there. We look forward to seeing it at each season.

Sheena has been super attentive to us, we helped with the fire, she advised us routes and shops to buy. He has been present to help us throughout our stay for anything we need. The house is great, it is not missing detail, it is very equipped. The area is very quiet without neighbors. The fireplace was heating the entire house. We will definitely be back!

I highly recommend anyone to stay at this property. Not only is the house incredible, and surrounded by the most gorgeous scenery, but you are greeted with two extremely kind, knowledgeable hosts who give you the time of day to inform of you on anything you need to know. This was THE best property we have ever stayed at and we would be happy to return at any time knowing we would have an amazing stay.

We spent a New Year's Eve several families and two children. The house was impeccable, clean and tidy, it is very spacious and has enough bathrooms. The living room and kitchen allow interaction and gatherings of friends, which is what we were looking for. In addition, the detail of the holiday decor gave it a homey touch that we greatly appreciate. The fireplace also contributes to this. Super quiet area and suitable for children as there is no traffic and a huge amount of outdoors. The terraces have amazing views. The village is close enough if anything is needed.
