Private suite vacation rentals in Shire of Augusta Margaret River

We stayed for two nights. The rooms are on a large area of land to the back of the house. The owner was very proactive in helping us find the best places to eat etc. The room is basic but very clean and all we needed to have somewhere to lay our heads at night and shower etc. There are a variety of places to eat within walking distance. We found this a good place to base ourselves for Hamelin Bay (15 min drive) and the lighthouse at the south western tip of Australia. Some magnificent beaches. Be sure to check out Grannys pool and the Jetty pools. I would recommend here if you want a good clean place to base yourself to visit places in the area.

We loved the studio it was perfect for our stay. There were so many extra touches and amenities. The bed was super comfy. The beach was so close and we enjoyed the sunsets.

Rachael’s place has a countryside charm to it and was a cosy home for my family for a week. The home is walking distance to a top notch coffee spot and well located to explore the Southwest region. Travelling with 3 kids 4 and under can be a lot but thankfully she provided a baby mat & cot for my infant and guard rails & mattress to pad the floor for my toddler. Her family stays right next door so her home felt safe but private at the same time. Rachael was always responsive and helpful with everything. I highly recommend her home as a base to explore the region!

I’m so happy we found this place! It was perfect for our needs, location was beautiful- peaceful and relaxing but within walking distance of the shops of restaurants of Margaret River (which were all fabulous! The little garden is particularly stunning with amazing wildlife to see. We loved being able to access the river from the back gate too. This place will hold particular significance for us as we got engaged on this trip! Definitely a place we plan to come back to and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much for a perfect stay!

Absolutely loved our stay here. So close to everything in the Main Street & felt like our own little home in Margaret River. Everything was clean, as described & all we needed. Arriving around Easter we were welcome with yummy chocolate eggs around our room, so cute. Nickole also provide fresh bread & some spreads which was prefect to enjoy before we hit the sites. Nickole was responsive & very helpful. We would definitely stay again! Highly recommend.

Carls place is just adorable and was perfect for our trip. Basically a granny flat attached to the rear of the house with your own outdoor areas in the gorgeous garden, 2 generously sized bedrooms both with queen beds (which is a rare find), a kitchenette, bathroom and living space in pristine condition. Host communication was excellent and guest booklet had a wealth of information with Carls number available should you experience any issues. The ammenities and supplies left for our use shows Carl is dedicated to providing an excellent experience for his guests (the “should you get caught out” basket - was a very cool idea) I would highly recommend Carls place to anyone wanting a peaceful stay within walking distance of the shopping district We had a great time in Margaret River, thank you Carl - we would definitely stay again 😀

We had the most amazing stay here, we couldn’t fault it! Everything was so carefully considered, spotless and just absolutely beautiful. It was super private, relaxing and comfortable, we felt right at home and didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much for having us, we’d love to come back someday ✨

Photos and descriptions do not do this wonderful getaway any justice. It was even more beautiful and peaceful once we got there. Arrival was made easy, welcoming and very private. Naturaliste on Caves was perfectly situated on the most connected road in the valley - minus all the hustle and bustle of the main street, giving the perfect launch point for all daily activities. Linda was extremely welcoming with notes, recommendations and treats, while always proactively checking on our every need. Incredible attention to detail and finishes on the studio akin to that of a luxurious hotel. Do yourself a favour and make this your only choice when staying in the Margaret River region!

My teenage daughter and I had a lovely 4 night stay at Jaime’s place in Cowaramup. It was a great location for exploring the Margaret River area and parking on the driveway was really straightforward. The space itself was beautifully decorated and well designed with a great shower. Jaime answered any questions that we had but respected our privacy and left us to it during our stay. Would thoroughly recommend.

Incredible stay over Easter weekend! The place is well equipped and better than expected. The hosts have thought about everything. Short walk into town for shops, restaurants and cafes.

We didn’t even realise but we had stayed at Sandy’s place before. Although it was in her other area, it was just as awesome, really good price for the area! Highly recommend!!

The beach villa was decorated in a stylish, minimalist way but also managed to be extremely comfortable and homely for our stay. It is in a great location for the beach and a few cafes nearby if you don’t want to go into town, although Margaret River is only a short drive away too. We loved this place and would definitely stay there again…

Our family of 3 had such a wonderful stay in Augusta. The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a great location (has a magnificent view of the Hardy Inlet and is less than 5mins from the town centre). Jo was super responsive and helpful, which made check-in and communication really easy. I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home, and everything was well-stocked and comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Ryan is a fantastic and friendly host who was always happy to answer any questions we had. The accommodation is an extension of his home and is conveniently located just a short drive from the town centre. Despite being close to town, it's peaceful and surrounded by sheep and chickens in their enclosures, adding a lovely farmhouse feel. A highlight for our family was the friendly resident dog who would greet us whenever we returned—always gentle and never once barked! The bedrooms and bathroom were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. We also appreciated the small touches like board games, which kept our little one entertained. Perfect for small families looking for a quiet, comfortable stay near Margaret River. Thanks again, Ryan, for having us!

Beautiful little cottage, so neat and tidy. Welcome box of Chocolates on arrival (thank you!) Close to town. Kids had fun seeing the chickens, Sheep and Alpacas. We usually have to bring quite a few things with us but the cottage is well equipped with almost everything you need for cooking. Gerry and Sandra are so welcoming and helpful. So affordable too which was a big plus for us. We loved our stay and would definitely come back :)
