Excellent location, close to the beach and the white elephant cafe. Very functional and well designed space to have a nice relaxing break. Only ten minutes drive to the main MR strip and close enough to the beach to leave the car behind. It’s our second time here and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

We had a lovely stay in such a peaceful location! Check in and check out was a breeze. Everything was exactly as described and pictured. Heaps of amenities to use - we loved that there was a full kitchen! The location is close enough to a couple of small towns to easily make your way around, while also being secluded and quiet. The hosts were fantastic too. Easy to understand instructions along with fantastic recommendations on places to go and things to try. Would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful peaceful location. Peter provided great instructions and the place was as described in the adds. A cold snap meant that the pot belly fire was very handy to warm us up and keep us cosy at night and as the only heating was very much appreciated. Good internet and comfortable chairs to read and relax in a lovely peaceful setting. Thoroughly enjoyable and would definitely recommend.

We had the most beautiful stay at Ruse Estate Syrah for a special birthday weekend. I surprised my partner, Katie, with a trip down south for her 40th, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, Karen made us feel so welcome. The chalet was spotless, stylish, and incredibly peaceful. We were greeted with fresh sourdough bread and eggs from their own chickens, such a thoughtful touch! Midway through our stay, Karen even topped up our eggs and gifted us the most delicious homemade fig paste. It’s the little things like this that made our time extra special. The space itself was exactly what we were hoping for, a tranquil, modern escape surrounded by nature. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and grateful. Thank you so much, Karen. We’ll absolutely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay, both for the excellent surroundings of the cottage but also itsloxat3 being central to the whole region. The cottage is a good size for a family and has everything you need. We will definitely be checking to see if it available the next time we are visiting the area

This was our second stay at Rachel’s place. So many more beautiful memories made with our kids! Seeing the kids run around outside, exploring the creek, bush and river with other visiting families kids made it a magical week. Finding Easter eggs left by the Easter bunny scattered through the surrounding bush made it an Easter our kids will not forget! We will be back 😊

Jewel chalet was exactly as described and reviewed by others; a comfortable, cosy rammed-earth chalet surrounded by trees and a native garden. The chalet is comfortably furnished, the king bed was firm and comfortable, the water is rainwater which is lovely, the shower was hot with good pressure, the cupboards are well stocked with cutlery, crockery and pots and pans. The highlight of the stay was definitely the number of different birds that visited the birdbath and surrounds. I counted 15 different species. Our favourite late afternoon activity was to sit watching the comings and goings in and around the birdbath. Yes the chalet is a bit of a drive to the nearest town but that was the appeal for us and the Boranup Cafe, a 5 minute walk from the chalet, was just delightful serving great coffee and cakes as well as breakfast and lunch with everything homemade. Thank you Ines for allowing us to spend some back to nature time in such a beautiful, peaceful place in the forest.

we had such a great long weekend - the chalets are in such a beautiful part of the world. We did some lovely walks and got to see lots of local wildlife. The walk to the beach was a good challenge and was absolutely worth it to be the only ones on the most pristine beach!

We had a wonderful week here. Enjoyed the peaceful setting, beautiful surrounds and especially loved watching the bird activity. We enjoyed our quiet time here as much as our outings. Found plenty to do in the nearby area.also - even a nice cafe within walking distance at the Jewel Cave. One highlight for us was being able to have a nice fire going on our last night! Bev is a fantastic, friendly host and was very accommodating to our family - thanks again.

Had a lovely time staying at the Cottage, very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here. Great location between Margs and Augusta.

Amazing and rejuvenating stay! David has been such a great and helpful host too and was very flexible with arrangements :)
