Monthly Rentals in Shilshole Bay

Sean has a cozy little place for two in a nice part of Seattle. It's what I would call a "studio home" with all the amenities that one would need for a short stay. Sean has maintained it well and it was clean as a whistle. More importantly, Sean is a very friendly and responsive host, who lives next door with his wonderful fiancé and two friendly, well-behaved dogs—who made no noise during the entire week we were there. My wife and I loved our stay and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a quiet neighborhood in the Seattle suburbs.

What a beautiful Airbnb. The space looks as described and is well appointed for a long term stay. The area is peaceful and very walkable if you love nature. Discovery Park and the locks are close by on foot, and the main street of Ballard is just a little further. I found the area very bike friendly, as you are just a short bike away from the Burke Gilman and Ship Canal trails. Akosua was very kind and responsive-- highly recommend this place!

This was such a great spot for the two of us and our dog for a longer stay! The bed was extremely comfortable, everything was clean and organized, and the kitchen was stocked well albeit a little tight when both of us were in there. We loved having access to the yard and the biggest bonus were the two sweet dogs! Cat communicated quickly and clearly, and was incredibly helpful. We would highly recommend staying here!

Such a beautiful, high-quality place to stay. We were very impressed and it feels more spacious than the square footage would have you think. It's so clean that you feel like the first guests ever to stay there! Quiet, peaceful home and neighborhood near the water. Views of the water and mountains across the bay. Great recommendations including an excellent 3-mile loop by the water and through Golden Gardens park. Neighborhood is safe and charming. Joe was incredibly responsive and cheerful, and we loved his offer to leave fresh coffee in a carafe outside the door in the morning. (There is also a Keurig in the cottage if you prefer that.) The main house is on the same property as the cottage, but the cottage still feels very private. We liked going to Picolino's cafe and Salmonberry Green Grocer a couple blocks away each day. Oh and no long list of rules and check-out procedures! You really feel like you are taken care of on your vacation.
