Step out of the accommodation and you can taste the flavors of the ancient capital of Kyoto in a space full of history. The food is delicious and the price is very reasonable, making it a rare local experience. In addition, if you turn right outside the building, in less than 1 minute, you will find an old townhouse gourmet restaurant street [Kagariya Koji Kaikan], where you can also taste famous Kansai specialties. There is a 7-Eleven downstairs with a wide selection of rice balls, bread, coffee, fruit, and various meals. About a 3-minute walk away, there is also [Gekiyasu Supermarket], the most worthwhile and cost-effective supermarket in all of Kyoto, with a wide selection of fresh produce, seafood, fruits, bread, and daily necessities, and prices are generally more affordable than nearby supermarkets!
