We loved our stay in OmiHachiman. It is a very quiet, chill town. Not a lot is open after 5 or so in the town so plan meals wisely. The blue house was clean, spacious and well appointed, with the most comfortable beds we encountered on our whole Japan trip. The bus from the train station goes nearby the accommodation and continues on to La Collina - very convenient..

Beautiful place within walking distance to JR and Subway station very convenient to get to places via public transport. The house was very clean and very beautiful. The house also has many good features makes it a good home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was fine. They were clear and responsive when you needed it. The place was nice and peaceful—a good location between the two main stations.

Our family of five loved this house. It is as per the photos and description. We had 2 people sleep upstairs and 3 downstairs in the main room. This left the dining room free to sit and look out into the Japanese garden. The house had everything we needed. We found the futon mattresses a bit thinner than expected but we got used to it by the end of our stay. The location was better than expected. A beautiful street filled with cherry blossom trees that were in full bloom during our 4 night stay. Easy walking distance to all the popular spots in the Gion district and also to train stations. We were lucky to also see a geisha walking along the same path as us one night! 7 Eleven and Family Mart at the end of the street. The location made early morning strolls really easy (before the crowds arrive). Highly recommend this beautiful house.
