Monthly Rentals in Shetland

A great find for my first holiday in Shetland...central to Lerwick town centre so a great hub for exploring the town and the islands. No parking at the apartment, but available nearby and not too far to walk with luggage.T he apartment itself was immaculate and very comfortable - a real home-from-home. Dominika's instructions before arrival were clear and comprehensive, and she left additional information in the apartment. She also provided maps and tourist guides to the various parts of the islands which was useful for planning my trip. Overall, a great apartment, and I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Midfield Croft is a great base for exploring Northmavine and the Northern Isles. It's a sympathetically updated traditional croft house (with perhaps the exception of the excellent and modern bathroom with both stand-up shower and bath). The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was oh so comfortable. Oh, and room for three bedrooms upstairs (we used the twin). Bruce and Family were lovely. It's clearly a working croft but they all found time to chat and make suggestions for places to visit. We were even warned about a seasonal hazard, namely that the starlings were nesting! We will always remember eating breakfast and watching chickens and rabbits just outside and the new born lambs in the nearest field. We will also recall the stubborn starlings. Every morning we had to check under the car bonnet and the boot sill for their repeated attempts at nest making! In short, highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in this studio, it is beautifully decorated and well equipped. It is perfect for 2 people and well situated for exploring Shetland. We really couldn’t fault anything and would highly recommend this listing if you want to stay relatively close to Lerwick.

This is my third stay at Tony’s flat. It’s such a great location, with lots of parking on the street nearby and easily walkable to lots of places of interest & restaurants in Lerwick. It’s always quiet too. A perfect base for work or pleasure, with a great kitchen you can easily cook in if wished, a washing machine & comfy sofa!
