A short dock is right outside the door, so bring your kayaks or other small craft. Although cozy, it offers everything a simple cottage should. Shem Creek is minutes away, as are the beaches. Melissa’s place was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. It’s in a lovely neighborhood and close to restaurants and stores. I felt immediately at home in this tidy well furnished place. The kitchen had all the basics but, to be honest we rarely made our meals there. There were lots of good restaurants in the area. It was a lovely place and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. When we need a place to stay in Mt Pleasant, I would certainly love to stay here again.

Great place/location/neighborhood. The suite was cute and very clean just as described. So close to beaches, Charleston, or the shipyard park. Host was quick to respond and checked in on during our stay. Highly recommend this place. Would definitely stay again if in the area. We enjoyed our stay!

If you’re looking for a cute little place to chill for the weekend, this is a great choice! While the bungalow is a little smaller than anticipated (for 2 adults/2dogs), the fully fenced yard makes up for everything else. The yard is pretty much completely shaded by beautiful oak trees, and my dogs loved every second we spent out there. The road is busy during the day, but at night, it quiets down, and all you can hear are the cicadas.
