Callow Barn. What a beautiful place in beautiful surrounding. Loads to see and do. Great walks. Great pubs. And a fantastic lido, but advisable to book a couple of days before you go to avoid disappointment

Willow Cottage Newly renovated quaint cottage

CaroleRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The cottage was beautifully and tastefully decorated and equipped with modern kitchenware and thoughtful touches. Lucy was very flexible regarding our early arrival time and talked us through our concerns about the hilly nature of the walk down to the river. Our neighbours and everyone in the village was friendly with tea rooms and pubs and shops all within walking distance. The 10 minute drive to Bakewell and larger supermarkets was easy. Parking was not always easy but we usually found a space and if not, found the Car Park available about 5 mins walk away for a suggested contribution. June 21-28 was Well Dressing week - same time of year every year - and we wish we had been aware of this when we booked. We loved our trips to nearby Eyam, Edale, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Buxton and Matlock. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Cosy cottage, stunning views near Chatsworth

Laura BowlesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a lovely cottage! The views were spectacular! My daughters and I took many pictures of the countryside and of the adorable sheep grazing nearby. The cottage was perfect for resting up and refreshing between our trips to the Chatsworth House and Gardens. We really appreciate the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home—and in such a spectacular neighborhood. Thank you for your hospitality! Blessings, Laura

Pigeon Loft Cottage

AshleighRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Pigeon Loft Cottage was just as described, a very cute and cosy home away from home. The cottage was very easy to find following Susie’s directions and there is ample parking at the property as well as around the area. The check in was delayed by an hour or so due to us booking an extra night but Susie was extremely apologetic and did her best to get the cottage ready as quick as she could and allowed us to leave our shopping in the fridge during. Although she was trying to get it ready quickly, the cottage was still very clean and tidy when we did check in. The rest of the trip was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay :)

RachelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful cottage, felt so at home. The garden in particular was stunning. Beds were comfortable and the whole place was so clean and well equiped. The location is beautiful but do have to drive to a few things. We did the Curbar walk which is walkable from the cottage and is a lovely walk. We drove to Kinder Scout, Roaches, Luds Church, Hen Cloud and Millers Dale. Our dog loved the cottage, thank you so much we will ne back again 😊

Pear Tree Lodge with private HOT TUB and garden

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have just stayed here for our honeymoon, eckington is so beautiful!! it’s a great little lodge to stay in & the hot tub is an added bonus and great after long days of walking etc. it was a good hub for all the outside activities most places like chatsworth, Bakewell, hardwick hall, Matlock and so on were between 20-40mins drive away so perfect for the day trips out. There were some lovely pubs and a little Italian in the village & Aldi is literally around the corner to stock up the fridge! The lodge itself was very clean, and a well equipped kitchen for at home meals/lunch making for days out. The only addition I would say that a spare blanket would be lovely for when chilling on the sofa! Rebecca was wonderful and anything you needed she was more than happy to accommodate! Would 100% recommend for a doggie or non doggie holiday away 🦮🐶

Beautiful caravan in a stunning location Ashbourne heights caravan park is lovely, very well maintained. Spotlessly clean throughout, comfortable and cosy, decking with chairs is a great addition especially with the weather we had. Loki's Lodge was amazing. Sarah really went above and beyond with all the bits she includes in the accommodation to make your stay home from home. It was spotlessly clean, really comfortable and so nice I forgot it was a static caravan. Sarah added so many lovely touches, including a goody box for the dog with everything you could need. Will definitely be back again! Thank you!

Dog Friendly Rural Retreat

EmmaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

Eider cottage with private hot-tub & spa options

JuliaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had such a fabulous stay! What a great place. I think it’s one of the best Airbnb properties I’ve stayed in. Fabulous position, within walking distance to Holmfirth town centre (not for people with good mobility though) but very quaint and quiet with amazing views over the town. Everything has been thought of in the cottage. We had a lovely hamper left for us. All the fixtures, fittings and furniture is good quality. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looks great. Small details have been considered where other properties don’t always, for example a light up make up mirror and a full length mirror. The resident ducks are great fun. Parking is a bit tricky, you need nerves of steel to drive up the road to get there as it’s very narrow but, once you’ve done it once, it’s fine and safe. I would strongly recommend booking this property, it’s beautiful, welcoming and comfortable and I’d definitely like to stay there again.

We enjoyed a lovely two night stay in Lia's place in Letwell. The bedrooms were all decent sized and everyone slept well, and everything was of a high quality throughout the house. The garden was particularly spacious and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife and hearing the toads at night.

Dog friendly holiday cottage

Chimney Cottage is a lovely place to stay, very close to relatives we were visiting. I loved the quaint village although the parking tested my ability. (Not like open spaces in Australia). The cottage is beautifully decorated with the perfect mix of modern and old and having the Butchers Arms near by was really convenient for good meals and friendly service. Ashley, our host, was very friendly and always helpful when we had queries. Thank you Ashley, I’d love to stay again.

Stunning, Unique Peak District Retreat

EmilyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Truly, this is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Firstly, the views are exceptional - you can see right over the hills down into the valley. The hut itself has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Special mention for the bed which was SO comfortable (as someone who has had spinal disc surgery, I very much appreciated that)! The location is wonderful, just a short walk down to either lovely pubs, a little town or the canal. It’s truly a place set up for relaxing. Check in and instructions were super easy to follow. I’ll definitely be back!

We have just spent a fabulous week and found Karin and Tim to be excellent hosts. The house itself is absolutely wonderful- beautifully furnished and thoughtfully set up to ensure guests have the best time. Karin and Tim are very responsive and nothing is too much trouble. I've lost count of how many times I've stayed in The Nook - I love it! So homely and relaxing, utterly tranquil and in a prime location for exploring the heart of the Peak District (a number of great walks from the doorstep). Tracy is a great host, the place is spotless and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen. Cute rear garden with summer house, sit and watch the sunset over the hills while the sheep potter about in the field. Bliss.

Maple Cottage, Hathersage

PennyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We really loved staying in this cottage. It was cosy, quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay near a wedding venue. The host Julie was super easy to communicate with and we felt in safe hands. We slept really well in the double bed, and very quickly wished we'd booked it for longer as we felt so at home. Hathersage is a gorgeous village, with walks into the countryside all around, so I hope we can come back and explore properly. Would highly recommend staying here.
