My husband Laurence is from Barnsley so we're quite regular visitors to see family and he was familiar with the apartment's location as the old Barnsley Permanent Building Society - you could not be more central with a great view of the Town Hall. The building has been sensitively restored into a majestic apartment block and the flat itself is lovely: tastefully decorated, well equipped, spotlessly clean with a really comfy bed and great towels. You can tell that David has put a lot of care and attention in making a genuine home from home so its perfect if you're staying for a flying visit like we were or a longer stay. It's in staggering distance of all the bars and restaurants and we absolutely loved it! Will definitely stay again.

Conveniently situated near to High Street/shops/restaurants & well stocked with milk, water, tea & coffee. Comfy beds and a pretty quiet stay despite staying in Fri & Sat nights. It was a little complicated with the entrance/parking etc but we received clear instructions prior to visit.

Our stay was wonderful, our hosts were so welcoming and caring. They brought us toys and books for our young daughter and were a wealth of information about what to go for hikes, playgrounds, site seeing. The location is great and there is so much to do in the area. Would highly go to recommend.

This is my second stay here and it was just as lovely as the first. So comfortable and tidy and in a great location too. I really love this apartment and hope to come back in January for work :) Penistone is so beautiful! Thank you so much Ben it was lovely as always!

Good location shops and restaurants walking distance, very comfortable room and quiet. I have stayed a couple of times and would go back again.

Stepan was a great host, always very helpful and communicative. He clearly takes pride in this apartment, everything was brand new and well maintained. The apartment itself is exactly as described, the shower is super powerful and the mattress really comfy. The only thing is, you can hear the neighbours coming and going in the hallway so pack some earplugs if this would bother you. The location is excellent, a one minute walk off the high street, 7 mins from train station with a few cute cafes nearby. I stayed for 9 weeks and was very happy.

We had a lovely stay in Wirksworth. Bronwen's flat was very well equipped with everything we could have possible needed. Lots of recommendations of place to visit and walks to do.

Firstly, I was met at the property by the very lovely host Maria. She kindly showed me around the flat & explained all I needed to know. The flat itself is stunning! It’s been renovated & finished to a very high standard with beautiful furnishings and very thoughtful details from the super comfy bed to the well equipped kitchen. I could go on & on! I loved everything about this place & felt right at home! I will most definitely be visiting again. Thank you for everything Maria!

Great apartment! Plenty big enough for 6 adults, 1 baby & 2 dogs. Plenty of bathrooms which was nice not having to share, great location (if you don’t mind a bit of a hill walking back) beautiful place to sightsee and get out and about. Kiran was great, asked for some recommendations and he had a full guide ready and had plenty of stuff to recommend.

Lovely stay at Karl's place. Cute and quirky Airbnb with all the amenities you could need. Great location, walking distance to the cafes, pubs, shops etc. Karl was super friendly and informative about the local area. Would stay again! thanks 🙏

We had a lovely stay at this property! We booked extremely last minute due to other accommodation falling through and were pleasently surprised by how modern, clean, and comfortable the flat was. I would definitely book again.

a lovely place to stay, perfect for 1 person (though would fit two people). the host very kindly messaged prior to mention they supplied milk, butter + bread, noticed I was vegan and provided alternatives! there was tea + coffee provided, plus lots of seasonings and condiments in the cupboards should you need. comfortable bed, clean + tidy space and perfect for a 3 day trip. would definitely recommend :)

Stayed for 2 nights as we were visiting family and spotted tony’s place. first night we had an issue with the fire alarm but he came quickly and fixed it. We were super impressed with the fact he left us some milk to make brews! The bed is super comfy and you can tell he’s put real thought into the place. We will definitely be back again :)

Really enjoyed our one night stay at Brewer’s Cottage. Everything was as described, check in was easy and the cottage was well equipped and very clean. Thank you Penny ☺️

beryl was such a lovely host, kept us updated and so friendly and helpful. the apartment was really nice and had everything. there was milk, tea coffee, biscuits, cereal all for us to use which was so nice. the outside space was fantastic, bbq loads of seating, sealed area for the fog to run around. everything was above expectations. we will definitely stay again when in the area

Katherine has a lovely place. She owns the cafe below and breakfast there is fantastic. The coffee and the cakes are delicious. We stayed for two nights because we had a wedding nearby and Katherine gave us a lift. She is a very friendly kind person. The place is exactly as you can see in the photos: beautiful, clean and cosy. The place where it is located is stunning. If we ever come back, we would definitely stay there again!

We had a fantastic stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very spacious. It has everything you need. We had a toddler and a baby and there was plenty of space for a travel cot in either bedroom. The location is perfect, a short walk to the centre of town but the property itself and particularly the garden feels very tranquil. Gareth and Charlotte were very responsive to messages and we saw them a few times during our stay when coming and going but not at all intrusive. Overall it was a great stay and we would absolutely stay again next time we come to Buxton. Thank you.

Elizabeth was a brilliant host and communication was faultless. Accommodation was spacious and spotless. Would highly recommend staying there to anybody and would definitely stay there again.

This is a really comfortable apartment , and all the rooms far more spacious than the photos look. The kitchen was modern, immaculate and had everything there, I wish I had made greater use of it during our short break. The place is really quiet, bed huge and comfy with top class shower to follow. Off street parking was a bonus , although it didn't look an issue on the road outside anyway. Everything worked just as described by Martin and Michelle. The decor was nicely done too .

Lovely flat in a quiet area within easy walking distance of shops and all that Buxton offers. Gill met us on arrival with the key and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be back!

Amazing spacious apartment in the heart of Sheffield, yet hidden from the loudness of the streets. It is close to Crucible and other main attractions. The faŕct that you can park your car comfortably in private space is just a bonus on already great offering. I’ve stayed in a dozen other places nearby but this one is definitely the best value for your money.

Perfect little place, nice location and plenty of space for 2+ people. Would 100% recommend.
