The accomodation in this 18th century pub was a pleasure. From the vibrant and lively customers in the pub downstairs to the eclectic decor it was a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable stay. It’s not your standard AirBnB, but it was exactly what we were after. An enjoyable, memorable stay in a country pub, and it more than met the brief.

The exterior of the Huddersfield Central Lodge showcases a two-story stone building with a welcoming entrance. Large glass structures are present, allowing natural light to enter. Traditional street lamps add charm to the atmosphere, while neatly arranged planters frame the entrance.

A delightful place! We booked last minute and were very impressed. Immaculately clean and modern with quirky art. Central location close to the University and train station. Powerful showers, warm and welcoming staff. The service was 10/10. Smart Tv was great for Netflix. The gated secure parking was an excellent peace of mind. My colleagues and I have already rebooked! Would highly recommend this hidden gem.

Easy check-in at the bar. We were shown to our room and advised to use a different door if the pub was closed on our return. Very friendly staff. No one available on check-out but we left the keys with someone at the pub as we were leaving. The room was clean and tidy. They left croissants and 2 pots of porridge, presumably for breakfast. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat them as I can't have dairy but my husband enjoyed the croissants. The bathroom was small but functional and very clean. The shower was very powerful and hot - perfect! The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Lovely location and wouldn't hesitate to book again if we are in the area.
