Super stay and so convenient for the Peak District, friendly place and nice food and beer at the Norfolk Arms over the road. Very clean, and welcoming. Thoughtful things in the kitchen. I would love to stay again - it's a special building with wonderful history, and a friendly and welcoming vibe.

We had a lovely stay at Megan's place in her cosy and comfortable cottage with lots of natural light. St Nicholas' medieval church at High Bradfield is well worth a visit with it's stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Megan was a great host, easy to communicate with and has a lovely, bright and cheerful manner.

Fiona was the perfect host, so friendly & understanding. The house is beautifully decorated, clean & inviting. The bedding was fresh & clean. The location is perfect for the park & Sheffield near by & the garden is so peaceful & private. Fiona was very accommodating & flexible. I would definitely recommend her as a host & would be very happy to stay here again. Thanks so much Fiona

This was an ideal spot,close to ameneties but very quiet. The bed was lovely and comfortable, the whole place spotless. We highly recommend it.

We had a lovely stay in Silkstone. Cosy Cottage was ideal for our visit to Cannon Hall Farm. The restaurant (The Bells) just a 50 yard walk away was good value for money. There is lots to do in the area and Cosy Cottage is a great base. The cottage was very comfortable. An excellent kitchen and a good bathroom. Comfortable beds and nice and warm. Thanks to Neal and Deborah for responding g to questions promptly.

We enjoyed Lewis’ property immensely and felt totally relaxed and right at home from the moment we arrived. Lovely place from which to relax and explore the local towns, villages and countryside. Highly recommended.

Phil was a great host - meeting us when we got there to pass the key over. Had a good chat about the history of the conversion - could tell he was very proud of it, as he should be. Great communication - even helping us out with local taxi info. The place was perfect for us and we really enjoyed the time we spent there - it has a lovely homely feel and very relaxing. Everything you need and very clean. Couldn’t ask for more - only more time to stay there.

This was the second time we’ve stayed. The house is clean and comfortable and the location is great with parks and all the amenities around Ecclesall Road a few mins walk away. We had another very enjoyable stay. Thanks Mark

this is our second year staying in Michael's apartment, it was just as good as it was the first year. On check in day we had a problem that the building lifts weren't working, I asked Michael about this problem to which he immediately contacted the building maintenance and they had it fixed the very next day, Michael is an extremely friendly and helpful host and I can highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in his apartment. 10/10 we'll be back again next year!

Lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts, Suzanne and Ian who were there to meet me and explained how everything worked. Welcome pack a nice bonus and very much appreciated after a long drive. Flat was beautiful, light and airy but at the same time, homely and welcoming. Very peaceful location and felt very safe there, something very important to me as a female guest staying on my own. Great communication and the few queries I had during my stay were answered very quickly. Local shop within walking distance for anything you might need and a coffee shop which looked very inviting and a must try venue for next time. All-in-all, a wonderfully relaxing stay.

Lovely and clean apartment with great living room area to relax. Nice and quiet and close to M1 so a perfect stop off point. Would stay again.

She communicated all the way from the moment of our booking to the end of our stay. Location is perfect, snuck away from Dronfield Town, but close enough to walk to the many signposted country walks and local pubs/eateries. Short drive, train or bus to Chesterfield and easy commute to Sheffield. Lots of walkable trains and buses. Easy drive (and public transport available too) to the many scenic attractions in Derbyshire. Walkable Convenience Store and gas station is just a minute away.

After reading all of the positive reviews. I can clarify they’re all spot on. Stayed at the annex over the bank holiday weekend for three nights. Definitely going to book again if available. Sarah and Peter are so friendly and accommodating. Many thanks. Hoping to see you soon

Well….where do i begin…this place is above 5star!!! Me and my husband went for a little 3 night break after our wedding for some quiet time after the madness of a wedding… the flat on arrival was just perfect…there is no other word for it!!! The host knew why we were going and went the extra mile to put some personal touches in place for us, for when we arrived. Things like ballon’s, lights, banners roses, cup cakes, chocolate…even down to a congratulations card. The list could go on. Not only was there all of the above, but the fridge was fully stocked for all the essential items you may need, this little thought went a long way…variety of snacks, cold cans of pop and bottled water also on the fridge. We were so thrown by this, as we have stayed in many places in the past but not one has ever gone this far to make there guests feel at home. An this is how we felt “at home” And the place was spotless…we literally have not one bad thing to say!!! Apart from we didn’t want to leave!!

a lovely place to stay, perfect for 1 person (though would fit two people). the host very kindly messaged prior to mention they supplied milk, butter + bread, noticed I was vegan and provided alternatives! there was tea + coffee provided, plus lots of seasonings and condiments in the cupboards should you need. comfortable bed, clean + tidy space and perfect for a 3 day trip. would definitely recommend :)

Our second time staying here with our dog, and we couldn't fault it. Fab communication and the place has everything you need for a short break. It is the perfect location to explore the Peak District!

A lovely stay in Wirksworth and so glad that we booked this place!! The décor throughout is lovely and boutique style with a very cosy and homely atmosphere. We stayed here for 4 nights and wished we’d booked for a couple more as there’s plenty to do in the local area. Angus was very responsive and on the first evening sent a message to make sure we had checked-in all okay, which was a nice touch. Only recommendation that I can find is to make sure you take some kitchen roll & surface spray as these little things can easily get forgotten when visiting places as this isn’t supplied. All in all, would love to visit again!

A great spot to explore the peaks from! Plenty of walking opportunities from the house, super close to Bakewell & Buxton and a lovely local pub nearby. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Max’s place!

The house is within a lovely, peaceful place, where you can easily take buses to the Chatsworth house. The studio is super clean, almost spotless and very safe (I’m a female traveler who travels alone and totally feel safe here). Ms Deborah is very nice and she provided milk, cereal, energy bar to make you feel at home:) Definitely recommend!

Beautiful apartment, very well equipped. Well described instructions to car park and check in . Quiet surroundings, city centre easily reachable. Lovely little Micropub opposite . would highly recommend.
