Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Shaver Lake

The place was as described. Micaela was super responsive and was super flexible with our checkout time! We loved the pet-friendly amenities the home had and would 100% come back!

Omg! What a beautiful home! I almost wanted to write a bad review to scare away people from reserving it LOL. Would HATE TO SEE others ruined this place for us! We will DEFINITELY stay here again in the future. The place is so nice. The host was wonderful with their welcoming sign and goodies. They had everything we needed. The only minor thing would be the mattress. It was not as comfortable. Maybe invested in some comforters. Other than that we loved everything about it! Cannot wait to be back!!! Next time we’ll make sure to book it for more days!

Very cozy cabin our family of 4 adults and 2 kids had a lot of fun. Beds were comfortable, everything was functional I would definitely recommend this place. The host was very responsive and friendly and accommodating.

We could not have found a better place to stay near Yosemite. Great view from the house and enough entertainment for families.

Really nice layout and use of space. Perfect for families and/or multiple couples. We went to Yosemite and the proximity was excellent. In non peak times, less than 30min to the South Gate. Outside space was great and lent to enjoyable evenings on the deck overlooking water. Our host Adam was great.

Me and the fam just got back from a 3 night stay at Calm Mountain Retreat, and this is an easy 5 stars review. The location has Yosemite, Bass Lake, and numerous shopping options and restaurants very close (we ate breakfast at Bee's Bakery everyday!).Besides the 2 stand up video games, dart board, air hockey, firepit, and hot tub - what stood out was the thought and consideration that went in to making this truly a home away from home experience (from the pictorial light switch labeling, to having everything you need to roast marshmallows by the fire, to the full coffee/espresso station and much, much more.). The grounds are well maintained and the house was clean and had a great classy down home vibe in regards to the decor and furnishings. Lastly, the host was responsive and provided a stress free check in/checkout. The next time we visit Yosemite, its a no brainer where we are staying. Great job Jennifer!

If you are looking for a place to unwind, I highly recommend this Cabin. It is a middle distance from both the park and Oakhurst so travel times are minimized. The rushing creek in the springtime made for excellent background noise as you slept in the cool mountain air. Charlotte has all the amenities and the house is in great shape. Perfect for our trip-thank you!!

We booked Stormy's place for a quick late season ski session at China Peak. We were welcomed right away with quick communication from our host who was proactive and had the 2nd bed made up for us before we arrived. The space has the "less is more" vibe but everything we needed was there. We enjoyed our stay!

This place was a really great getaway for my wife and I. Its location is perfect for a ski weekend. The Aroma Tavern is pretty much in the same parking lot and a nice place to eat that is also dog friendly. The layout of the rental is really cool, and feels really cozy and comfortable.

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. B'ful place and so thoughtfully done. Every corner thought in great detail and attention. The gesture by the host to get us fresh cookies on arrival won our hearts. I wish we could stay longer. The airbnb itself is worth a 2-3 day stay over.

Excellent hosts. Responsive and Helpful. Location is Peaceful and Beautiful. Apartment clean and comfortable (felt like home). Delicious homemade cookies were an added bonus

Great weekend spot!

Susan was an absolutely amazing host and it honestly felt like home to me being there and being able to bring my 2 cats as well. She had great recommendations and nose the area very well . Susan was always responsive, and we even hung out a good bit as she introduced me to her main hiking group in the area which really made my weekend even better 💯 Highly recommend staying here, especially if you are a nomadic wanderer, and remote worker) like me. It’s a quiet/peaceful place in the countryside with lots of farm animals around, accompanied with beautiful sunrises. Learned about a lot of local hiking spots in the area and navigating the twisty roads around, which was fun. 10 out of 10 would stay here again and can’t wait to come back! Ellie and her home were incredible! Such a great location with hiking and town close by. She was super helpful and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Was looking for a cozy getaway… and I got far more than what I paid for! Snickerdoodle Cabin is a dreamy cabin straight out of a fairytale. From the cozy colorful bedroom, to the dainty strawberry dish set in the kitchen, to the retro/vintage decor outside; everything tied in perfectly to make this cabin feel like a home straight out of an Anthropologie Home Catalog! In addition, Nick was such a great host! He has very clear instructions making it easy to check in/check out without any hassle. I greatly appreciated the information binder as it included local recommendations for food (Nurture Cafe was my personal fave!) and much more great information. In short, Snickerdoodle Cabin is a lovely delight that should be booked!

Kory and Laura’s place is perfect if you are visiting Yosemite. Super close to the south entrance. The cabin has everything you need, we were impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was ! Vitamix and every single thing you would think of. The beds are all super comfy, having your own mini split in each room is amazing. Be aware you can’t actually make a fire in the fireplace because of wildfires but there is a propane fire pit outside that works great. The place is beautiful and the hikes around the area are worth exploring. Thank you!

This is the second time we stayed at this place, and both times it was great… place was clean, nice rural views. The cabin is very homey. Thanks Mark! We will likely book again sometime.

You won’t find a better Airbnb hostess. Her communications were clear and responses to my questions were quick. Cindy provided all of the basics to make our stay comfortable. The cabin was in excellent condition and the beds were comfortable. Quiet “neighborhood “ was very peaceful. We had a lovely, relaxing get away.

The Copper Cabin was an incredible experience! Intimate and beautiful, the cabin is decked out with every imaginable accommodation and more. The hot tub and grill overlook a breath taking vista so no matter where you are, the view is incredible. The interior is so well designed and taken care of. They provided a full kitchen and bar set, and every appliance came with easy to understand instructions. As well as a house manual and were very communicative since the booking. Definitely a great find. Our 4-person trip to Yosemite was incredible, and with this cabin, even our evenings were wonderful! Thanks so much, Natalie and the Copper Cabin!

My family booked a last minute Spring Break trip to Yosemite. I have a little one on the spectrum which makes finding a home tricky. We dont want a home filled with too many dangers or knick knacks etc This home was cozy, spacious and safe. It was everything we hoped and more! Plenty of space to dance around and be silly, amazing comfy bunk beds to sleep 4 and awesome game room full of fun! We made the most of our stay and did a lot of relaxing and playing on the deck. The view is spectacular! Plenty of towels, pots+pans , kids plates/cups etc.. very close to Yosemite, Bass Lake and a VON/Raleys.. there were pelnty of fast food options.. we definitely will be back! Thank you for hosting us in your lovely home. 10/10 MUST BOOK!

This is the 2nd time booking my elderly parents a vacation at this location. The first time was only 2 nights. Its been since 2018 and due to Covid they didnt travel. This time they asked for an extra night at their favorite cabin. Brenda is a terrific host and has excellent communication.
