Fantastic location for walking & exploring. The barn is beautifully presented and stylishly furnished. Very spacious. Loved seeing the Llamas on our morning walk with our dog - on our doorstep. The New Inn pub down the road - Victoria’s tip - awesome, friendly, great food at a sensible price - try the venison or brill filets! Our only regret was that we didn’t stay for longer. Alison’s lodge is absolutely wonderful. It’s one of those places that as I arrived, I already wanted to come back! If you love tranquility, bird song, being amongst nature, with a lovely beach ten minutes walk via a woodland then you’ll love it. And the lodge itself I can only describe as spotless, with everything you need along with very thoughtful touches (cake, fruit, milk, butter, tea…. Etc). Comfy bed, great night sleep. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat!

Louise Gemma was a very friendly and respectful host and even though the property was attached to their house, it didn’t feel like it which is different to other air bnb’s I’ve stayed at. No noise or anything but knew Louise Gemma was there if needed. Very clean and well presented property with all of the amenities listed on the page. Comfy, cosy and the perfect peaceful getaway. Would definitely stay again! :)
