That Dam Cabin!

This historic 309-square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire. On a clear night the stars are absolutely breathtaking!

Log home on Shadow Mountain Lake (no pets)

The house is a custom built log house located right on the shore of Shadow Mountain Lake looking at the lake and the mountains with 76' of shore. It sleeps up to 9 people in 4 bedrooms. There is only parking for 4 vehicles in the summer and 2-3 in the winter. No RV's or campers ever and No trailers in winter. There is cable TV and wireless Internet. The all season porch has 360 views of the lake. No pets on the property at all, my wife is allergic.

You will not find a better view of Grand Lake than from the patio of this cozy, mountain lake home. From sunrise to sunset, firework shows, fly overs and wildlife viewing - you can’t beat it. This is a VERY well stocked mountain retreat owned and managed by me - Pickles! It’s one of my favorite places to visit and when I’m not - I love to share it with you!
