Entire brand new, modern & bright cabin. We lost the cabin in 2020 in one of the largest wildfires in Colorado history, and just finished rebuilding. What we lost from the seclusion of trees, we gained in 360 degree views of Kawuneeche Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park. Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. You can snowmobile/ATV from cabin to trails in less than 10 min. 4WD/AWD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in Winter.

You will not find a better view of Grand Lake than from the patio of this cozy, mountain lake home. From sunrise to sunset, firework shows, fly overs and wildlife viewing - you can’t beat it. This is a VERY well stocked mountain retreat owned and managed by me - Pickles! It’s one of my favorite places to visit and when I’m not - I love to share it with you! **Smoking is not tolerated in or near the residence. Air quality detection is present and violators will be fined**

That Dam Cabin!

This historic 309-square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire. On a clear night the stars are absolutely breathtaking!

The log house is situated on the shore of Shadow Mountain Lake, featuring a two-story structure with large windows that provide lake views. A wooden dock extends into the water, and outdoor seating areas are arranged on a grassy lawn, complemented by rustic stone accents.

The house is a custom built log house located right on the shore of Shadow Mountain Lake looking at the lake and the mountains with 76' of shore. It sleeps up to 9 people in 4 bedrooms. There is only parking for 4 vehicles in the summer and 2-3 in the winter. No RV's or campers ever and No trailers in winter. There is cable TV and wireless Internet. The all season porch has 360 views of the lake. No pets on the property at all, my wife is allergic.

The spacious living area features a leather sofa facing a stone fireplace, with large windows allowing natural light and showcasing mountain views. A wooden dining set is positioned nearby, and bright wooden beams enhance the cabin's rustic charm.

The cabin is so beautiful, spacious and cozy! We felt right at home. We arrived early and host allowed us early check in. We loved the cute little town of Grand Lake, fun shops and restaurants. Location was great, being close to Fraser where we went bowling and snow tubing one day, SO close the Rocky Mountain National Park too. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. We had plenty of linens and towels. Everything was clean and we were very comfy for our entire family getaway in the gorgeous snowy Rocky Mountains!

A spacious bedroom is featured with a king-sized bed adorned with textured pillows. Large windows offer a view of the outdoors, while warm wood tones accentuate the rustic decor. A vintage dresser and a wooden bench are positioned near the bed, complementing the cozy atmosphere.

Lots of thought and detail went into this place - not a cheap thing in the entire house from bedding to kitchen supplies to decor. Nestled in a nice safe neighborhood. Becca was extremely responsive. We had a lovely stay at Maureen's place. It was clean, well equipped, and just the right distance for accessibility and privacy. The floorplan allowed privacy for my husband and I, and our teenager. We enjoyed the hot tub almost every night after our long days of hiking and kayaking. I especially enjoyed turning the jets off, and listening to the local native wildlife. The restaurants in town were very good (One Love, my fave). The issue with the hot water heater was immediately resolved (but did cause a little disruption to our day). We would be honored to stay here again. 😘🏞😎

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location can't be beat, and the house had all you could want for a trip with multiple families to Rocky Mountain national Park. We would stay again.

Don’t debate on this stay- book it. The amenities, the responsiveness, the location. All world class. Your group will have an unforgettable stay here. We conducted a leadership summit in Grand lake for our business, and this location set the tone for excellence. After having to pivot last minute because of the terrible condition of the originally booked air bnb, we were in a bind, but Julie came through and saved the day for us. If we are ever back in Grand Lake, this is where we will stay without a doubt. I’ll be looking for other locations she offers as well- they are sure to be done with the same quality and care we experienced here.
