Julie is a remarkable host in terms of her hospitality, kindness and availability. She always has a smile on her face. The house is very clean, impeccable bedding and many accessories in the kitchen The place is quiet, the pool is large enough to guarantee nice swims The hot tub and petanque court add a pluses to this rental I highly recommend this place. It is about 2 hours from the ocean, 1.5 hours from the Poitevin marsh.

A beautiful spotlessly clean and organised gite with amazing panoramic views fron the terrace. a beautiful open living room, stylish and distinctive bedrooms all surrounded by gorgeous vineyards.

Beautiful stay on a lovely farm! we slept there for only one night before moving onto puy de fou but we felt right at home. Everything was clean, Sophie was very welcoming and we had a pleasant stay in the middle of nature, there’s enough space for kids to run around and explore. There’s two things that left a very slight bad aftertaste. We came early for the pool but because the pool is connected to another room we only had acces to it until 19h. With some negotiating we stayed a bit longer, luckily our fellow visitors were very welcoming. And at the very start, Sophie changed the price, she added a fair bit. Mistakes are always possible so this isn’t a real remark. We had a lot of fun either way, thanks for opening your house to us, Joppe

Anne & Ray worked tirelessly to make our stay enjoyable and perfect for what we needed. We had our toddler (who took a shine particularly to Anne-thanks for letting Pip feed the chickens Anne!) and they were kind enough to provide a paddling pool, high hair, cot, etc but also perfect recommendations for things to do that not only worked for our littlun but also for our sensibilities. It’s a tough gig hosting 3 gites with 3 different family’s needs but Anne & Ray did it with aplomb (I should say, you feel very much like you are in your own secluded gite although I believe they can be combined for bigger parties if required) the pool is idyllic and the facilities are many for all ages, shapes and sizes. Perfect family getaway, thanks guys!x

Sophie and Jean-Luc are very warm and helpful hosts who you can talk to very well if you want. The property is as described and documented in the photos. The pictured staircase is not decoration, but it leads into the attic. Big people have to pull their heads in at some point. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love and full of antique accessories. In the kitchen, a dishwasher and washing machine are hidden behind the rustic curtain. The patio overlooks pastures with sheep, goats, and shetland ponies. Chickens are squeaking. An absolute holiday idyll. The 29/30 degree heated pool is located behind protected walls of a barn, so you can usually find peace there alone. Only the somewhat small windows make the apartment a little dark, in winter that is certainly very comfortable. During the summer, you spend most of the time outside, so that doesn't matter. In short: The place is highly recommended!!!

The cottage was impeccable, large and very quiet, more than enough for 2 adults and 2 children. Very good playroom to keep the kids entertained. The instructions left by the host were very clear, whether for check-in or checkout. We'll probably come back if we get the chance.

Christophe was a sweetheart. Throughout our stay he was helpful and available. And above all, very human! Thank you for hosting us and for your good mood. The desire to come back is already there without having left the place.

Short stay (2 nights) , we were very pleasantly surprised by the hospitality of the cottage and Kim which some professionals should take. You just have to put down your suitcases and enjoy. Kim has a attention to detail that makes your stay so much easier. A wonderful place where we have been able to recharge from our daily lives. This is an old fairytale house with all modern comforts. Nicolas is responsive and perfectly kind. We'll be back as soon as we can.

Due to the beauty of the place, the quality of the hospitality, the professionalism coupled with the kindness of our hosts we had a great time, I highly recommend this beautiful place. We had a great time at Sophie and Will's place. The space fits perfectly with the photos. The view of Sanzay Castle is sublime and the place is peaceful. The alpacas are lovely! Will was very friendly and gave us tips for places to visit nearby. If you stay at their place, don't miss the Chateau de Bressuire, just 15 minutes away by car. The view from the back of the castle is very beautiful.

We have 4 top days at the estate. The mobile home is very well equipped and we were able to enjoy all the family activities of the campsite. The law is quiet and nature and the bikes have a real plus . A real soothing moment of relaxation for everyone

a little gem that seduced us all, young and old in a quiet little village. What to visit nearby, enough to rest in this quiet place to have fun thanks to the pool and also thanks to the nearby outings, enough to eat and drink thanks to the different restaurants in the area (for adorable prices), enough to marvel at the shooting stars at night... in short, a refreshing vacation thanks to great people, good advice and concerned about our well-being thank you again and we hope to see you soon

Everything was absolutely perfect, the accommodation very clean, small touches - homemade jams, candy for the children - the bed and bath linens were nice and in good condition, the kitchen well-equipped. The welcome was warm and Emeline was very available and found us all the information we could need for our visits to the area. Everything you could wish for to have a good vacation, and even beyond our expectations!
