Anne and her husband restored this old building with great taste and character. A little gem! 30 minutes from the Puy du Fou or the gifted fountain , the location is ideal for those who want to treat themselves while being autonomous and quiet. Don't hesitate!

3 nights spent in this nice, nicely decorated ,comfortable and quiet apartment, overlooking a lovely garden with stunning views of the hills . Close to the Puy du Fou 18 min and located 2 steps from the city center of Pouzauges , a charming locality that deserves to stay there for a few days.

We had a great week at Anne-Sophie and Alain's place, well located 5 min walk to intermarket and 10 min to a nice walk around the lake. Well-maintained spacious house, very nice decoration, with everything you need, beautiful veranda or resting with birdsong. we will most certainly come back to the next visit in the area.

We were able to enjoy this accommodation during our visit to the area to attend the start of the Vendée Globe. Françoise is an extremely friendly and welcoming person. She also made our check-in much easier (we had some time constraints). The apartment is very nice, comfortable and perfectly functional. We'll be happy to go back on a future trip to Vendée. I had a lovely stay at Lucie's. The listing was as described and in photos. Small touches are left at check-in, which is always a plus. Tastefully decorated accommodation that has all the amenities to have a great stay. Ideal location in the heart of Montaigu, close to everything. Small downside for people with light sleep, the accommodation is located next to a street with heavy traffic but the insulation of the room obstructs noise for the night. Would definitely stay again!

A warm welcome, a very clean 2-room apartment with very comfortable bedding. Very close to Puy du Fou, with shops and a restaurant. It was perfect. We would highly recommend it.

Perfect accommodation for our family of 2 adults and 2 13-year-olds. Parking in front of the house, secure lockbox, very responsive host. 20 min from Puy du Fou, it was perfect!

Clean, well-appointed, spacious, easy to find and good value for money. 30 min from Puy du Fou. Check-in and checkout with key box. Very quiet night, not a sound. In short, I recommend it and in addition, several cottages are available for friends.

From the initial warm welcome which showed us the facilities and grounds we could explore we were made to feel very comfortable to relax and enjoy our holiday. The property is perfectly set up for families, the children had so much they could do to entertain themselves from swimming in the pool, basketball, ping pong and checking for eggs from the chickens! On top of this the beautiful grounds gave further walks around the lake topped off with kayaks and paddle boards there was so much to do a week was not long enough! A fantastic property and lovely hosts.

We have 4 top days at the estate. The mobile home is very well equipped and we were able to enjoy all the family activities of the campsite. The law is quiet and nature and the bikes have a real plus . A real soothing moment of relaxation for everyone

Beautiful stay on a lovely farm! we slept there for only one night before moving onto puy de fou but we felt right at home. Everything was clean, Sophie was very welcoming and we had a pleasant stay in the middle of nature, there’s enough space for kids to run around and explore. There’s two things that left a very slight bad aftertaste. We came early for the pool but because the pool is connected to another room we only had acces to it until 19h. With some negotiating we stayed a bit longer, luckily our fellow visitors were very welcoming. And at the very start, Sophie changed the price, she added a fair bit. Mistakes are always possible so this isn’t a real remark. We had a lot of fun either way, thanks for opening your house to us, Joppe

Monique's house exceeded all our expectations. If you wanted peace and quiet then Chateau-Guibert is the place for you. The house is set in beautiful gardens with a wonderful view of the small fishing lake. There are no shops - only a baguette dispenser! - but Mareuil sur Lay Dissais was only about 5kms away by car. This was a charming village. The pool at the house made it as the coast is about an hour's drive away. We did go to La Rochelle and Les Sables D'Olonne and the coast inbetween, all about an hour's drive away as well. The house itself was extremely comfortable and very well kitted out - there was everything you could possibly need and more. Several different seating areas outside as well. Monique could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a delight to meet her. We would highly recommend this holiday home, and would be very happy to return here.

Our brief stay at this cottage was perfect for our group of 7. The property is immaculate and the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. They were in touch in advance of our trip to help with room layout preferences and did a great job showing us around the beautiful property. I only wish we had some time to enjoy boating on the lake or exploring more of the grounds. Would absolutely stay again.
