It is a large, very comfortable apartment and belonged until very recently to a renowned painter and sculptor. It combines several original styles in terms of decoration, drawing attention to its architectural design due to the spiral staircase and the panoramic bedrooms with glass walls, which makes it a very bright home. The building in which it is located was built in the middle of the last century, and was renovated in 2018, being located in one of the most emblematic streets of Seville. The street where the house is located is called Alcaicería de la Loza, because of the Islamic 'alcaicerías' (marketplaces) that were spaces where the sale of wholesale items was allowed, being the epicenter since the 9th century of the space where silk was traded. The apartment "Suite Alcaicería 15.2" was inaugurated for vacation rental at the end of October-2018 and is ideal for families and groups of up to 8 people. It has an integrated kitchen line, dining room, toilet, two bathrooms, four bedrooms, several terraces and a roof-viewpoint. The apartment is fully air-conditioned, has unlimited Wi-Fi system with signal repeaters. Environmentally conscious, we produce hot water using solar energy (300 liters plus a 120 liter backup). The DINING ROOM-KITCHENETTE and LIVING ROOM blend harmoniously in an open-plan atmosphere, presided over by a large wooden table with eight designer chairs and equipped with a Smart TV with private HBO and Netflix channels, Bluetooth speaker. It has a small balcony facing Herbolarios Street. Its integrated KITCHEN line is fully equipped with all kinds of kitchenware and small appliances (juicer, toaster, sandwich maker, kettle for infusions, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, iron and board, etc.) and large appliances (washer-dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, induction cooker and microwave-grill). In addition to having soap for the washing machine and dishwasher, we leave our guests a small supply of olive oil, vinegar, salt, sugar and assorted teas. A COMPLIMENTARY TOILET in the French style, in which the toilet has been separated from a golden metal sink. The LIVING ROOM area has a large corner sofa with a glass-metal designer table and a small bookcase with a collection of books and catalogs of Spanish painters and sculptors, among others. The living room ceiling is approximately six meters high and is flanked by two safety glass walls from the two upper bedrooms, which together with the large spiral staircase create a unique atmosphere. BEDROOM 1 ALCAICERÍA, is on the first floor and opens its two large windows to the street Alquería de la Loza, in the Barrio de La Alfalfa, a neighborhood of great tradition in Seville, it has a bed of 1.50 x 2.00 m, clothes hanger, small chest of drawers and TV. It has a safety glass wall that faces the living room, with a giant store to achieve privacy. BEDROOM 2 HERBOLARIOS, is on the first floor, is characterized by the contrast of the warmth of the wooden floor and industrial atmosphere, small ventilation window to Herbolarios street, has a large KING SIZE bed of 1.80 x 2.00 m, clothes hanger with luggage rack, small chest of drawers and TV. It has a security glass wall facing the living room, with a giant store for privacy. BATHROOM 1 is on the first floor, fully equipped with a shower tray and glass shower screen, Sevillian cement tiles, a cabinet with a sink and toilet. It has a hairdryer and a set of white cotton towels per person, as well as hand soap, bath gel, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. BEDROOM 3 ALCAICERÍA is located on the second floor, has a sofa-type trundle bed, from which another extra bed can be converted into a double bed, has built-in closets with hangers and a large window that leads to the adjoining terrace that faces Alcaicería de la Loza street and from where the metal staircase that leads to the roof-viewpoint starts. ROOFTOP-VIEWPOINT has a height of about 15 meters and is in one of the highest areas of the Alfalfa neighborhood, being a relaxing space to watch the sunset and the sun's reflections fall on some of Seville's important monuments. Layout is open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen with sofa, dining table and chairs. The bedroom has a king size bed (1.50m x 1.90m). Lovely bathroom completed with a walk in shower. A washing machine in a build-cupboard. Bed made with fresh linens. Towels are provided. Iron and ironing board. Hairdryer. You will love preparing your favourite home cooked meals in the newly remodelled kitchen with lovely oak worktop and fantastic appliances. Fridge/freezer, induction hob, dishwasher, coffee and teapot, kettle, toaster, juicer, cooking pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware, etc. After dinner feel free to choose a movie from DVDs collection or simply watch TV and spread out on the large comfy sofa. If you need to keep up with work during stay, just bring your laptop to use the free super fast WiFi. For couples with children we have a travel cot and high chair. The apartment is located at the centre of the city, in "Casco Antiguo", walking distance to the main attractions of Seville, monuments, museums, restaurants, tapas bar, flamenco shows... No car needed, but if you drive we do have a public parking a 5 minutes walk from the property. Excellent connections to public transport: bus, metro, train and taxi. Just 10 minutes walk from Santa Justa railway station, ideal for excursions to Córdoba, Granada, Cadiz and Malaga. Also very near to Plaza Ponce de Leon, an urban transport hub of the city.

Our flat has a vibrant, artistic vibe and is located in small building, designed by the famous Sevilla architect Anibel Gonzalez. The building has been renovated to provide modern conveniences like a lift, air conditioning & heating and Wi-Fi. It is one of four apartments in this emblematic building. We love that it is part of the city's rich history! We especially admire its balcony and views onto the plaza, high ceilings, arched windows and beautiful facade. We also like how it is quiet but in a lively neighborhood. A simple three story building with a elevator. There is a wonderful cafe downstairs that we believe has the best breakfast in town. They have great Italian coffee and they make their own breads and cakes. Fabulous extra virgin olive oil too! For afternoon relaxing have some wine and cheese at the low key authentic bar next door. Pepe and I think of each guest as if you were family. We believe that the point of Airbnb is to feel connected to the people of the place you are exploring and to have extra assistance in getting to know the place you are visiting. However, we also respect that each guest is different and some prefer privacy while others may like a bit of company. The apartment is in the historic center of Seville, with several markets within a minute's walk. Find tapas galore in the nearby square or join the local folk at the Vizcaino Bar for vermouth and mussels. Main tourist sights are a short and enjoyable walk away. We recommend walking or renting a bike but there are buses (C5) and taxis close to the house. We are always happy to call you a taxi at anytime of the day. We also recommend that guests download MyTaxi, Cabify or the Uber App while in Seville. There is a flea market that has taken place every Thursday since the 13th century right at the foot of our apartment. Pretty cool to see. The family that owned the building prior to its renovation were known for the books their sold on Thursdays. We feel like it's Christmas when we wake up in the apartment and see everyone set up outside. The flat is in the historic center of Seville, with several markets within a minute's walk.
