Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Schladming

It was beautiful decorated, spacious, quiet, and welcoming. Communication was excellent. Well worth the fee and we only wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful week. Nice tips for the walk to the Schafberg and Frauenkopf. The stove was lit neatly with the cold the first days on return, wonderfully warm. I found the internet in the right corner of the terrace, but little internet is also not very bad, mandatory rest and that works fine here. We were with our 2 youngest sons of 20 and 18 years and therefore missed a large cooking pot and wok. If you have many chargers with you, please bring 2 extra extension cords. Shower is lovely!

Peer is a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly informative! He was super flexible with our late arrival (traveling with two babies), provided all the necessary information about the house, and was always happy to help with any request, like an extra heater. He also gave us great recommendations for local places to visit and eat. Peer’s house is even bigger than it looks in the photos! The living room is huge, the garden must be amazing in the summertime, and the surrounding views are absolutely breathtaking. This was my first holiday in the German Alps, but as a complete package—host, house, location, and atmosphere—I don’t think we could have found anything better! The village has plenty of great spots to try local cuisine and family-friendly attractions. If you love walking, there are beautiful trails right on your doorstep, and within a 30-minute drive, you can discover some truly stunning places and scenic routes. Would we recommend it? 200% yes!

The place was just what we needed, a peaceful and cosy oasis with several ski slopes options within an hour reach. We really enjoyed staying in this house, so sad it came to an end. Above all, Petra is a great and warm host! Thank you!

We 2024/2025 between the years for a week with two families (4 adults 5 children) in the chalet in Annaberg. The chalet is in a great location, right on the ski slope and also easily accessible. The kitchen was really fully equipped. We didn't miss anything. The chalet itself is beautifully built, well equipped and offers a great view of the surrounding mountains. We felt very comfortable there. Unfortunately, someone had probably smoked in the chalet before (it's actually not allowed), which is why it smelled of cold smoke in the basement. The landlord quickly tried to help with a room fragrance, but unfortunately this only reduced the symptom. But as a landlord you don't get into that and we were grateful for the help offered.

The house is very homely and comfortable. the views was also amazing.

Uncomplicated communication, clean building and facility, the love for the building and the facility can be felt in every fiber. It is light-hearted, so respect for the other guests is also important in your own room and patience in the sense of "live and let live." The proximity to the mountain and the Windbeutelbaron are fantastic! I love this sauna!!! And I can only recommend that everyone switch off and find contact with nature and like-minded people. 🫶🏻

Delightful accommodation that exceeded our expectations, Vanessa was very accommodating and always helped with everything right away. Perfect mountain views, all perfectly prepared. The house was very cold at first, but after contacting the host, who responded immediately and adjusted the temperature was perfect. Thank you. ❤️

The stay at the place was perfect all around. Jacqueline welcomed us in a very friendly way and was a great hostess who leaves nothing to be desired. The AirBnb is located in the countryside, with plenty of privacy and coziness to wind down and relax. And the way to Salzburg is not far. We will be happy to come back!

Very comfortable and clean accommodation. Correct and quick information, easy to find. We went for less but the host refunded the difference! Thank you very much, we had a great time skiing in Katschbergen!

The apartment was very very good! The apartment was fully equipped, modern, super clean and you immediately felt at home. Hot tub, huge TV with sound system, wood stove with fireplace and totally modern kitchen, etc. Apart from that, the apartment is in a very nice environment with mountains, lakes, etc. Radu is the nicest host I've ever met, 10/10 would go there again

We very much enjoyed our stay in Lubica and Milan’s beautiful little apartment. The space was immaculately clean and had everything we could possibly need. The little sunny garden was a lovely spot to have dinner each evening. We also requested a cot for our son, and not only was this set up so nicely for him, Lubica also made sure there were toys for him as well (this was such a lovely thought and came in very useful!). As a special treat, cold beer and wine were in the fridge upon arrival, and warm, homemade pastries were delivered for breakfast one morning. We found the location to be very picturesque and peaceful, yet easy enough to get into Salzburg, with bus stops just around the corner. We felt very lucky to find Lubica’s place to stay, and would be lucky to have the opportunity to stay again.

We stayed 5 very relaxing nights in the beautiful place! The view is really breathtakingly beautiful and the pool in the house is also a super nice little extra for the great stay we had. The place is within walking distance of the train station, although it is a bit on the mountain. You can take super nice hikes from here or also go to Salzburg. All in all very relaxing days. Glad to come back!

We had a wonderful time in Reinhold's apartment! It was very cozy, clean and well-appointed. The location is also perfect for a city trip to Salzburg. After a long day in the city, you can relax and enjoy the time here. Reinhold is a very warm, open-minded and helpful host. We will be happy to come back!

a very clean, pleasant home. perfect location and home for a family vacation with a large group. everything is tip top in order. Robert is a very friendly and polite host. We immediately got a warm and homely feeling upon arrival. Definitely recommended!

Roman's house is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and warm. It has three levels, three large bedrooms, with empty furniture for storage, two bedrooms share a balcony, there are three bathrooms, a desk, a pantry with many and varied appliances, lots of kitchenware, several board games, it's ideal. The indoor pool area has an indoor mini garden, with tables and sun loungers. We received the house impeccably clean, it has everything you need and more! We went for Christmas and they even provided us with cookie cutters. The setting is beautiful, the views are incredible, we had cows and even neighboring horses. The house has a terrace with an outdoor dining area, two sleds and next to a hill where we slid in the snow. (It's almost the patio of the house). Ladau is a 20-minute drive from Salzburg, with quick and easy connections. Thanks Roman, we enjoyed your home. We'll be back

This was the cleanest place that we have ever stayed at on a vacation. The house is also quite new, has ample washrooms and is situated in a quite neighborhood. The views are great, and the air is clean. This was a great home base for our daily excursions.

Beautiful, very old farmhouse located at the end of the place yet central. Shopping, hiking and ski resort are within easy reach. The place was equipped with far more than stated in the description. The host family was very nice and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy. There were nine of us in the house and there would have been more space. Due to the two bathrooms, the stay also works very well with a larger group. Towels, sheets and basic amenities in the kitchen as well as firewood for the fireplace - everything was provided.

Great location, the underfloor heating in the bathrooms is nice after a day skying, the rooms are nice size. The internet however is almost never working and there is no tv in the living room. The beds all have tv. No washing machine and no launderette nearby, however, the host offered us the possibility to use her personal one. There is a ski boot drier which is a nice touch, bbq and a lovely table outside

We had a very pleasant stay: perfect weather, great skiing and last but not least a very nice and comforatable accomodation.
