The vacation home "Strickerl" is located in one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the world, in the Salzkammergut. We are located at an altitude of approx. 880 meters, which makes our guests immediately feel the alpine feeling. With us you have the opportunity to enjoy relaxation & the Austrian idyll. Directly on the Tauern cycling path with views of the Areitbahn mountain station and the surrounding nature, you will find the perfect getaway here. A freestanding bathtub and our Swiss pine sauna are certainly among the things that are not so easily found elsewhere.

In summer you are in the beautiful hiking area and only 4 km from the Dachstein Tauern Golf and Country Club The chalet "Sunny Hideaway" offers rustic cottage character. Our place is good for couples and families with kids (e.g. 4 adults or a family with up to 3 kids).

The cabin is located 1700 metres above sea level and therefore ideal for winter and summer.

The Ausseerland lakes and the "Loser" ski resort are a few minutes drive away - snowshoe hikes, walks and bike rides are possible directly from the house. We can accommodate up to 4 people.
