Beachfront vacation rentals in Scarborough District

My friend and I really enjoyed our time at Kate's. The place was lovely, really clean, and really easy to explore the rest of Whitby from. Kate's communications were really helpful and clear. She sent us a helpful guide about what to do in Whitby, we particularly loved the walking routes (we personally thought the walk / hike from Whitby to Sandsend and then onto Kettleness via the Cleveland Way was absolutely amazing!) There's a really nice pub called The Endeavour less than 5 minutes walk from the cottage, very friendly and cozy, good range of drinks, and lots of friendly dogs.

If you want to be immersed in the most comfortable and stylish experience for your next stay then pick Peter’s property. There wasn’t one aspect of this utterly beautiful ‘vintage yet also somehow contemporary’ house that we didn’t appreciate - the stunning wallpapers, the fabulous artwork and furniture, the luxurious bathrooms, the comfortable beds, the kitchen, the attention to every detail and the heavenly smell throughout. It’s a very special place indeed.

Harry was the perfect host ! Even though we didn’t meet Harry , We was arriving earlier so asked if we could check in early and it was no problem at all !! The house was perfect for us all including the dog clear instructions on how the heating worked and to get in the property ! Very fast at replying to any questions we had ! Perfect location as it’s only 5/10 mins to the beach/front , We have a lovely New Year’s Eve with our family there in Harry’s lovely home ! Thank you so very much Harry

A fantastic stay at The Captain's Quarters . Easy to check in, find and very accessable to all aspects of Scarborough. We were attending a gig at the Spa so it was a perfect base! The View from the window is amazing. Watching the sea early morning to early evening was fabulous.

The house in Robin Hoods Bay provided the perfect place for a family holiday. Ideally located in the lower bay near to the beach. Parking nearby a real bonus. It was more spacious than expected and characterfully decorated. The top floor boat bed was a delight. The well equipped kitchen allowed enjoyable meal preparation. Good quality bed linen and towels. If returning to RHB wouldn’t look to stay anywhere else.

Great flat one street back from the Esplanade. Lovely walks, into Scarborough and the coastal path to Filey. 15 min walk to the open air theatre shuttle bus if you're going to see a band. Easy to catch after the gig with not much waiting around. The flat is modern and very clean. Smart tv's in both bedrooms and the lounge. Kitchen very well equipped. Perfect hosts, very responsive. Highly recommended.

Sue's apartment was perfect for us and our 2 young children - it was one of the best equipped places we have stayed in, with plenty of toys and books, kids plates/cups, beach toys etc. which made life so much easier when coming by train. It was spotlessly clean and very well presented, a nice cosy space to retreat to from the inevitable rain! Great location less than 10 minutes from both the train station and the beach, and close to local shops (and lovely fish & chips!) Sue was the perfect host, very responsive and keen to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again if we return to Scarborough.

From our first contact until checkout, Ben was so helpful and responsive. The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed for our holiday. The beds were very comfortable and the sofas were perfect for relaxing in the evening, watching TV. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a large fridge-freezer, and it even had an air fryer! Having a shop, restaurant and bar onsite was very handy. We loved that we could walk straight onto the beach, which was so clean and peaceful, well away from the hustle and bustle of Bridlington. The location was perfect for driving out to the coast for bird watching and to Bridlington for an RSPB boat trip to Bempton Cliffs - an experience not to be missed. The cliff walks were beautiful, helped by perfect weather. I would highly recommend Ben's caravan.

This cottage is perfect. We have been coming to the Bay for more than 10 years now and Jill's accommodation is as good if not better than all of them. The Suntrap patio is outside very private, the kitchen is a great size as are the bedrooms. Having 3 bathrooms is also a massive advantage. Taking all this into account plus the extremely competitive price, we will coming back very soon.

We've just returned from a lovely few days at kingfisher cottage. Jo was very helpful in giving us age appropriate recommendations for things to do in the area and allowed us to check in early which really helped in getting us settled for a nice relaxing break. The cottage is beautiful with nice homely touches, comfy beds and everything we needed. Thank you so much Jo. X

Spacious, clean well presented. Facilities were excellent. Great location for being close to all attractions in the area.

We were with the grandchildren for 3 nights. The apartment was so handy to get into Scarborough. We went down the lift and arrived at the spa. Then there were a couple of cafes

Fantastic stay at Seaspray. Richard sent very helpful instructions before we arrived, not only detailing the check in and how to find the property, but everything we could have needed to make us feel at home. The home was beautiful and we were always warm. The weather turned up for us so we were able to make use of the great location for walls and the sea. You are very close to Filey and with Scarborough and Bridlington only slightly further, so we fit in all 3. We will be coming back. Wonderful state would definitely recommend

Absolutely perfect base to explore Whitby. We stayed as a group of 5 girls. The accommodation was spotless, cosy and the views were absolutely amazing . Could have sat all day looking out people watching and the harbour. Parking excellent we got a spot under the lounge window. Key safe a tad fiddly ( probably our fake nails) but I would highly recommend staying here . In fact I’m trying to think of an occasion we can come back again for . Communication was amazing , quick and excellent details for checking in and the scratch card. Thank you

Absolutely stunning views from this lovely apartment. We stayed midweek and out of season and were blessed with good weather. The sitting room has fantastic views out to sea. The bedrooms have sea views too and the sunrise view is beautiful. The apartment is clean and peaceful - we heard no noise from any neighbours at all. The beds were comfy; plenty of storage space and all the kitchen equipment needed. The shower is powerful and hot water plentiful. The location is tremendous for food and drink. The pub is very close and welcoming and the food very good. We also ate at Fish Cottage and Estbek House - both fantastic. No shop in walking distance but a very good Lidl less than 10 minutes drive away. The highlights for us were the walks from right outside the door (Cleveland Way, Mulgrave Woods including castle) and the public transport (2 buses an hour in either direction from right outside). Parking space right across the road (designated). Strongly recommend!!

We loved our stay in Amanda's flat. It was very clean and tidy and well equipped with quality furnishings . The flat was very quiet . Paring was very easy and excellent to have. The flat is very well located and town is only a short walk away. We would definitely recommend this flat for a short stay in Whitby as Whitby proved to be larger than we appreciated and we realise there is more to see. Also, huge number of good bars and restaurants within easy reach. the sea view is also a huge plus. Only thing we think would improve the flat would be a few more lamps in the living room and bedrooms for ease of reading . Also, a soap tray in the en-suite bathroom would not go amiss. We are already considering booking again while we can.

Thank you for an wonderful stay. The view is beautiful from the living room. The apartment itself was clean, tidy and of generous size. The beds are comfortable, which helps with the amount of walking we did. Richard has made the apartment a home from home with everything you need!! We always forget something, this time is was a toothbrush charger and there was one to use in the bathroom. It is one of the best air b&b we have stayed at, we cannot wait to return. The gardens opposite were lovely to walk around before heading into town. It's a short drive down to Bempton cliffs, Filey (highly recommend cjs for fish & chips) and Cayton bay. The coffee van called Nova outside the apartment was perfect for when we needed a barista style drink. 9am flat white, the kids loved their milkshakes and the owner was super lovely 😀. It was perfect and we didn't want to leave! there is only 1 small negative and that's the pigeons squarking away from 5am every morning on the metal balcony. 😬

Had a lovely stay at Chloe’s place. Very accommodating and helpful hosts. The flat was extremely clean and nice and quiet. Nice and close to the beach too which was amazing!

Anne was very helpful, communicative and gave us clear information regarding our stay and was happy for us to delay our departure. The flat was beautifully presented with great thought put into guests needs. She had left good instructions and also included parking cards for us which was extremely helpful. We would thoroughly recommend Little Puffin and Anne as a great host. We obviously realised there would be stairs involved but taken with a rest in-between the long runs were "doable" and put down as part of our daily exercise!

We loved our stay at Lighthouse Cottage, it’s been beautifully renovated by Laura and Bob and we felt really at home. The cottage has a real wow factor as well as being immaculately clean and tidy, with a few welcome extras to make our stay even better. Parking space on the front was great as we arrived late on Friday evening. The town centre, beach and open air theatre are all within easy walking distance. Thank you to Laura and Bob for all the tips on where to go and eat during our time in Scarborough . Amazing hosts 😊 we will be back!

Rebecca's cottage is a wonderful home from home. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for a weekend visit or a longer stay. The beds are super comfy. The cottage location is amazing with everything in walking distance. Rebecca was a 1st class host, any questions were answered almost immediately.
