Vacation rentals with lake access in Scandinavia

Really a beautiful place to stay. The house was way more beautiful then on the photos. It was very clean and it had everything needed. The terrace is very spacious and you can see through out the house and all other utilities, that everything was prepared and decorated with a lot of love and attention to details.

We stayed in this charming house for almost 3 weeks in August. The communication with Dan and Robert was great. They are great hosts and have furnished the house with a lot of love and care. It is very clean and tidy and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Our three children also felt very comfortable. The garden is very large and offers plenty of space to romp, relax and discover. We did not use the in-house dock to the lake too often, as it is not so well suited for smaller children. However, there are some nice places in the area for bathing with infants. So that didn't bother us any further. Nature around the house, sunsets and tranquility are breathtaking. We were able to enjoy the stay from the first minute to the last minute. Everything was as described and Tomas was very friendly and helpful. The house offers the possibility to completely get out of everyday life and enjoy nature and tranquility, whether inside in the living room or outside on one of the 3 terraces. The sauna and lake offer additional recreational value.

Absolutely wonderful. If I could give 6 stars I would. Really comfortable. Immediately felt like home. And the view!! Stunningly beautiful. The pictures do not give it justice. The house is located at the center of all the interesting parts of the region. With a car you can easily get to Flam, Sognefjellet. Sogndal is really close too. And Ewa was really helpful and understanding. My wife and I are soo grateful. Do not look elsewhere. This is the place to stay in that part of Norway

Great weekend with nice weather. We used the delicious fire pit a lot where we could sit overlooking the lake. Despite the season, we stayed here a lot. We went for a walk of about 7.2 km around the lake. a wonderful walk where we passed a lovely beach at the other end of the lake. Here you can swim in the lake if you feel like it. Canoes and rowboats are located so you can just put them in the water and take a trip out on the lake. It just worked out so well. Had a little trouble finding enough life jacket in adult sizes. I think there were the most children's vests. There is a grocery store in the city, so here you can buy small things if you have forgotten something. However, no firewood. A super lovely home located close to the highway and very easy to find. Great surroundings and great activity opportunities. A home that can really be recommended to others who want to enjoy the silence and nature. Ninna Kryger

Ann-Kristin's house is lovingly decorated and exudes charm. Everything necessary is available and the property is very generous. Two swimming spots and a restaurant are in walking distance. The house is ideally situated between Kalmar and Karlskrona. If you are looking for peace and quiet and have attention to detail, this is the perfect place to be.

Very nice and smooth stay! The cottage is great. The host responded to any questions within 15 minutes. We felt welcome and “at home” in the second. Really recommended!

Fabulous house, beautifully restored and decorated. Great location by the water to watch the boats go by and for a morning swim :) Very well equipped kitchen. Börje is a great host, greeted us at check-in and took time to explain everything. Always quick to respond to messages.

The place is really bigger in real life! Beautiful view, we were able to see some northern lights on the 31st! Arto is very responsive! I recommend it. ☺️

Good and peaceful 5th floor studio. Everything you need was included in the apartment's equipment, even a freezer. The bed was nice too. The only downside was the lack of wifi.

Thanks for a wonderful and refreshing stay at your place in Helsinki. The view from the window was gorgeous and peaceful and the surrounding area was lovely to walk around... we even found an amazing local cafe nearby (Villa Ullas)! Maarit and Yariv were super helpful with checking in and general standard of communication. I hope we can visit again sometime.

We only slept one night because we were on a longer road trip. It was great that check-in was easy because we arrived late. For us, the accommodation was perfect, for making dinner, breakfast meals and sleeping well.

The place is clean and well-maintained. The location is very good, close to supermarket and the transportation hub. The downside is that the beds are a little small for 3 people, but that is minor compared to the great condition of the apartment and amenities.

This was a dream find for us and exactly what we were looking for - an outdoorsy week in nature! The hot tub and sauna right by the lake made it extra special and we had some beautiful sunsets. It is very well equipped for children - our boys (5 and 7 years old) loved it, especially the big trampoline, and we spotted lots of wildlife, including moose! It’s a great location for day trips to the coast and national parks too. We hope to stay again! 😊

Perfect listing! It was better than the photos suggested. Even though it was a Venetian weekend, we were left alone for the entire long weekend. On the pier, we were able to admire the Isokoskelo family and the swan couple with their child. The water was clean and clear, the steam in the lakeside sauna was great!

Very beautiful place, stunning scenery and nature. The cottage has everything you need, comfortably equipped kitchen and cottage in wonderfully tidy condition, including an outhouse:) Highly recommend!

Very clean and cozy cottage surrounded by beautiful nature and lake. A peaceful location, yet only 20mins drive to Savonlinna city. Frederic was a friendly host who gave us good tips about what to do in the area.

A lovely cozy little house with everything we needed. After our flight, we acclimated here for a few days, before continuing. Recommended!
