Stay and book within the city of Tromsø for 2-3 days and the rest of your stay, you MUST book one of Freddy’s campers. Beyond the city, you will see the real beauty of Tromsø. We stayed at Freddy’s place for 5 nights! Within six days, 1. We saw the Aurora Borealis dancing right in front of Freddy’s property. 2. We watched the most beautiful green, pink, purple Aurora Borealis during our last night right at Freddy’s backyard. 💚💜💖 3. We hiked twice in different areas 30-mins away by driving from Freddy’s place, 4. We had a walk in the nearby area 5. We ate quail eggs (gifted to us by Freddy). 6. There was a day when we just stayed in the camper, enjoyed the view and read a book. We also walked around the area that day. 7. From afar, we saw Moose and Reindeers. 8. Max the cat, the ducks and Geese are a plus! So adorable! We really wanted to get around the places outside the city, good thing Freddy had an extra car for us to rent. We can assure you, renting a car and driving around is worth the view, worth the everything! 😉 The camper was clean, complete and organize as we arrived. For two people, it is very spacious. The view from the window is stunning. The camper is well-heated. 30mins away, there is a local grocery store. We ate there once and we liked it, and we did our groceries from there too. Karin welcomed us and explained to us everything. Freddy was very helpful with many tips to give us. You can ask him anything about Tromsø. He lent us snow shoes and walking sticks for hiking. We wouldn’t have hiked without it. They are both hospitable and very interesting people to talk with. So if you’re planning a trip outside of Tromsø city, Freddy’s camper is the place to be!

We had a really beautiful time in the caravan. Bjarte is an amazing and flexible host who could help us out at any minute. He explained all the important things beforehand and went out of his way to make everything work for us. The caravan is very cozy and looks exactly like it is described. I can recommend it to anyone searching for a cheap and nice place in Bergen.

we had a great week. nice that the weather was nice and you could live outside in the garden. inside tastefully decorated. everything is present.

Kenneth was pleasant and welcoming. We had a nice tour of the farm, and got to use the stylish outdoor kitchen, greenhouse and garden. We had a nice dinner in the greenhouse. It was a bit of a long walk to the toilet. Good value for money

The host was nice and friendly. He changed the bedding upon request and came to show you how the gas stove works. The car was parked nearby, which made it simple. The stay was comfortable and affordable, and it was very entertaining with the whole family.

Katrin was an amazing host. She was very kind and offered a lot of help. The accommodation was exactly as portrayed on the pictures. All in all a great experience!

A true gem and a fantastic host! The house right at the lakeshore is unique and offers everything you could think of. We felt right at home and had great fun with the boats, swimming and fishing, cooking and enjoying the view. Perfect for a relaxed family summer holiday. Caroline was extremely friendly and stayed cool even when I had a little mishap with the key. Thank you for everything!

Amazing van, very comfortable bed, drives well. Communication was super, the solar power and fridge were epic to have. Good pick up spot. Would definitely rent again!

Rented the cottage from 5/17-5/24 2025. 6 adults and 2 children. The cottage is exactly as in photos. Cozy, charming and lovely clean. Quick communication with the host, who even warned about slippery roads in the middle of the week. Absolutely stunning views from the cottage located at the top with easy access to hiking behind the cottage. The first few days we could sit outside and eat dinner in the sun - on Wednesday it snowed about 10 cm. So there was also a snowball fight and a snowman made during the summer vacation. The best recommendation of the host and this amazing cottage from us.

What an awesome idea & place. Perfect finish of our 3 week journey through Norway. Sometimes Airbnb descriptions/pictures are worst, sometimes they fit and very rarely everything just exceeds expectations. Like this one.

Very very inexpensive accommodation for those who want to spend a few days away from the big tourist hotspots. You can ride sleds, ice bathing and spend time in the sauna. The camper has everything you need, only no running water in winter. If you don't need enormous comfort, you're in the right place. Helene also drove me to the supermarket and the ferry and helped me a lot with it. The supermarket is about 1.5 hours away on foot ✌🏼😄

Hi! The caravan had lots of charm and was decorated really nicely. Nice to be able to cook, and fun to have an outdoor garden hose as a water supply. The fact that it was hands-on was a lot of fun. The caravan itself was nice and private and an intimate place to have a date. The host was quick to respond and was very clear. I am very satisfied:)

Anita was very kind and picked us up when our ferry arrived. The place is very comfortable and you’ll find everything you need. I would come back without hesitation :)

Very nice place to stay. The service was friendly and located in a beautiful location. Even the dog was taken into account. It was easy to go on holiday.

Great little caravan, Anders and Maud were super friendly and treated me with both fresh homegrown, tomatoes, eggs and a cold beer.

We loved our stay in the caravan! it was always really warm and had everything we needed for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. Kristian was super helpful and it was amazing be able to hire his great car. He even dropped us to the bus stop on Sunday when we were leaving. The location was really convenient and easy to find and the views were beautiful. It was peaceful and private. We would definitely book here again!

We stayed here one night passing through. We can only recommend it. Smooth check-in, at any time of the day, even at night (key box). Very clean place. Double bed, sofa bed, table with chairs, small kitchen with sink, stove (4 hotplates), microwave, small oven, coffee maker, kettle, as well as dishes, cutlery, cooking pots, etc. everything there. Beds with bed linens, towels, dish towels, soap, toilet paper, everything was thought of. The accommodation is next to a farm road, there are almost no cars passing by. Had a very pleasant and quiet sleep. There were 3 adults and 1 child, there was enough space. Outside there is a terrace with BBQ and table with benches, as well as an outdoor shower, was not used by us, as we only stayed there. Next to it is a field with a soccer goal, which probably also belongs to the accommodation. It's a shame that this accommodation is booked on our way back.
