Great quiet place with a stunning view, just as described. Everything was prepared already when we arrived and Robin was very responsive when we had questions.

2 nights in the most beautiful surroundings we have ever experienced. Waking up to the view of an impressive landscape - a lake surrounded by snow covered mountains - is more than one can wish for! They were both very welcoming, sweet and so helpful, and we felt right at home. The area is perfect for hiking and experiencing the breathtaking nature of Telemark. We hiked to Kvikkevann, and had the mountains all to ourselves. Such an amazing experience, and we will definitely come back😍

Very comfortable stay. The location is superb (having a car is very recommended though): Its quiet and peaceful. The sauna is a highlight and worked as intended. If you are looking for a place to retreat in the nature, I can recommend this fully.

We had a wonderful week at Lisa and Henrik’s cabin by the water! We very much enjoyed the peacefulness during both day and night and loved waking up to the sunrise by the water right in front of the bedroom window. We also had the chance to use the sauna which was such a treat! We didn’t have a car but managed to get around just fine with public transport and walking. Lisa and Henrik were both super responsive and helpful – the perfect hosts! We also very much enjoyed the company of Skorpan the cat, who came to visit a few times. ☺️ Thank you Lisa and Henrik, we hope to see you again sometime soon!

Agriculture and Architecture mix. Living on the farm. Hike the property to historical Viking battle site. Golden hour sunset from property was amazing. The boathouse is a special and unique salute to Norway. 🇳🇴 Hope to return and stay longer next time. 🤞

For the third year in a row, I have enjoyed the amazing little cottage by the lake! The host Ulrich received me as kindly and helpfully as usual. Here you can really rest and enjoy the beautiful nature. If you sit on the balcony by the jetty, you are guaranteed to see a variety of birds swimming by and in the forest around there are squirrels and deer that come close. The cottage is incredibly cozy and has everything you might need during your stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped and charcoal is available if you want to grill outside instead. The little cottage on Vättersö has become a nice annual tradition for me and I am already looking forward to next year!

We had an excellent stay with Rune and Merete. The accommodation offers a stunning view of the river. The room is cozy and romantic, perfect for a peaceful getaway. It's possible to take a swim in the river and then warm up in the sauna. We were especially impressed by our hosts' kindness and responsiveness.

What a glorious place to stay! Annemieke was so welcoming, the house easy to find, the check in (and out) flexible and easy, the view absolutely STUNNING, and the surrounds peaceful and relaxing. It’s a short drive from town, but a pleasant one. The beds are comfortable (softer than other places in Europe, which I always struggle with), bedroom blinds block a reasonable amount of light (I wore a sleeping mask but our little one who usually has pitch black was fine), bathroom and kitchen clever design and functional (basic pantry items but no microwave, toaster or freezer, which would have been great but no room for these), and the whole space spotlessly clean and well-kempt. It is (as the name suggests) a mini hut so not a lot of space, but we stayed with our 3 year old daughter and we were perfectly comfortable for a short stay. Our little one loved the visits from Lex and Fox (their cats), who were gorgeous! We felt so welcome and relaxed and look forward to returning. Thank you!

Beautiful little house with a hot tub and great views. There were a few things that could be improved, but if no one says that, the host won't know. So we just pointed out that you could move the bed. Then there would be more space etc... the hot tub is a pleasure, but there are other houses and the residents walk past the hot tub. I thought that was kind of weird. There were always people at the pier, which is shared with other accommodations. Several houses are probably rented and they all meet. That wasn't clear to us before. I would have liked to bathe without spectators. The view is a dream, the hosts are very nice. Nearest supermarket about 12 kilometers. All in all, great for a short getaway.

Our time here was wonderful! The location was perfect and walking distance to the main areas. Janicke was very welcoming as well!

Our stay was fantastic! The house and surroundings were beautiful. Janno was brilliant! He suggested places to get food and drink nearby and replied to messages very quickly. He also allowed an earlier check in since our flight was quite early. The shop is a close walk away and it has everything you will need! The house is very well thought out, also with everything you would need. 10/10!! We will be coming back!

Oh my gosh… this is literally the BEST place we have ever stayed!!! It is a beautiful room and full sauna located on the top of this gorgeous hill, overlooking rolling hills and water ❤️ The room has everything you need to cook, and has the most high quality and comfortable bedding 😊 They even offer breakfast with amazing local food. We felt so loved and welcome 🥰

A good experience staying in a tiny house. In any case, everything you need is there, everything is clean and new. Beautiful views. Only the proximity to the highway creates some disturbing noise, mainly from trucks.

Staying in Kjersti and Geir's cottage is in every way a fantastic experience. Here you will find the peace you always long for. The nature is magnificent, the cottage is cozy and inviting, and the hiking trails in the Norwegian mountains literally start right in front of the front door. The initial communication with Kjersti has been friendly, cheerful and informative throughout. Geir was our contact on the spot and took care of our accommodation, and we felt in very good hands with him. Some people you like from the very first moment - Geir is such a person. Thank you, Kjersti and Geir, for generously sharing your beautiful place on the planet with us.

We can warmly recommend this peaceful place. It's even cozier in reality than in the picture. We got to visit horses, chickens and a cuddly cat :). The host Annika is very helpful and gave us lots of tips. The nature around is wonderful. The icing on the cake was the breakfast with freshly baked buns and lots of other goodies. We would gladly come back :)

House was perfect thanks for everything!

Anniina's cabin was very special, offering total tranquility. The loudest noise was the calling of the two cuckoos. The place is thoughtfully equipped and beautifully designed. Anniina is a kind and thoughtful hostess. A gem of a place! I feel utterly chilled now, thank you so much. And I'd love to stay again.

The place was magical! We were incredibly lucky with the weather and therefore had a beautiful sunset while we could still sit outside. The place was clean, cozy, and the toilet was also well explained (burning toilet, very accurate and easy to explain). Kristine is a great hostess and has prepared everything superbly. Also, the path to the Birdbox looked like it had just been freshly filled with gravel, so that guests could drive up to the Birdbox by car. Therefore, when we could not get any further with our car without four-wheel drive about 400m before the intended parking lot, we were able to clarify directly with her where we were allowed to stop in the forest as an alternative. The remaining meters were then easily walked to the beautiful Birdbox.

We really enjoyed our stay with Fiona and Björn. They were both incredibly sweet hosts. The home was very comfortable and charming - beautiful architecture and overlooking the amazing surroundings. The Kullen nature reserve and good swimming spots are just outside the door. And Björn recommended several good local eateries. We'd love to come back :)

It is such a wonderful place, Ingrid and Bill are so kind. We will come back for sure.
