Gretel's favorite place is a wonderfully quiet retreat surrounded by meadows and forest, where you immediately feel comfortable. You live in the same house as the renting family, but you have your own small corner apartment on the ground floor and even a terrace. The apartment is small, but lovingly and stylishly furnished with everything you need. Everything important is also available in the kitchen, but you should keep in mind that there is not much space in the fridge. Silvio and Christin are very friendly and accommodating hosts, we felt very comfortable!

My time at Pinnewitz was fantastic! The castle itself is a such a cool location to be able to live in, the surrounding countryside is stunning, and everyone I met at Pinnewitz was so kind. Mandee is wonderful, always available and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful place to visit in the country, for a short or long stay.

Residenz am Zwinger is a beautiful place to stay for an extended stay in Dresden! I rented a studio unit, which is an extremely flexible space that allowed me all the space and functionality I needed. The apartments and building are very clean, with chic decor and lighting details that make it feel quite fancy. With windows and balcony door closed, the apartment is well-insulated from all street noise and I never heard my neighbors once. I would highly recommend Residenz am Zwinger to anyone with an extended stay in Dresden!

Place as advertised and host always easy to get hold off, helpful and friendly.😉 Restaurant are all driving distance and there is a bit of street noise when opening windows at night. Sloping wall in kitchen make it at bit difficult doing dishes. That said, I can only recommen and give my best recommendations 👍
