Easy to access apartment, parking possible 30 seconds walk, safe place and tastefully decorated! Small medieval town that's worth the trip… everything is done on foot. Marillia was extremely proactive, we had questions about how a device worked and the answers were quick! Everything has been well thought out for a traveler's accommodation. We had the most peaceful, relaxing time staying at this cottage. It has been carefully and stylishly converted, with lots of character. I especially loved the vaulted roof and the wonderful shower. The private pool is a real bonus and we loved eating by the pool looking over the olive trees - very restful. Daniel went above and beyond to greet us when we arrived late after our flight, and on a rainy day even brought us a hamper of bread, pastries and coffee - he could not have been more helpful and considerate. Beautiful Marvão and Castelo de Vide are easily reachable, and we also made a day trip to Cáceres just over the border visiting the stunning old town area. On our quiet days we enjoyed several walks amongst the cork oak, olive, eucalyptus, and mimosa tree in the surrounding hills of the national park. A wonderful stay in a beautiful place, highly recommended.

We loved our stay! Reserved and great place for good tours. We stayed two days in the spring and we caught rain, but it was very good in the yurt, very warm. The kitchen is exterior, but functional even with rain. Desiring to return in sunny days that should be wonderful!
