Sehr schöne und ruhige Unterkunft, dafür, dass auf den umliegenden Straßen viel los ist. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Parkplätze sind begrenzt verfügbar und eigentlich für Anwohner gedacht. Lediglich die Betten haben bei jeder Bewegung ziemlich gequietscht und es gab viele Mücken. Vor dem Fenster des Schlafzimmers bietet sich ggf. Ein entsprechendes Netz an. Dafür kann man die Innenstadt gut zu Fuß erreichen. Insgesamt waren wir somit zufrieden.

Super Lage, man ist vom Flughafen schnell an der Unterkunft. Da die Insel nicht groß ist kann alles innerhalb von 1 1/2 Stunden mit dem Auto erreicht werden. Die Kommunikation mit Guido und seiner Frau war super. Wir konnten früh einchecken, Guido hat uns herum gezeigt und wann immer wir Wünsche oder Probleme hatten hat Guido sofort geantwortet und uns geholfen. Wir haben uns morgens auf die Pastel de Nata gefreut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einzige Punkte die nicht perfekt waren: Wir fanden das Bett eher unbequem und durch die Nähe zur Straße war es Nachts lauter als wir es gewohnt sind. Wir würde das nächste mal auf Madeira wieder hier her kommen.

Fantastic property and location, close to restaurants,shops,and the marina. With a Supermarket right next door. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the roof terrace was a total sun trap and a lovely place to chill of an evening. The owner answered any questions we had very quickly and was a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely be booking again. 5*

We will be talking about the wonderful stay we had at Filip and Renata’s place for a long time to come. The space is perfect for a couple or small family. The bedrooms and bathroom are spacious, the kitchen is exceptionally well stocked (there’s even Tupperware so you can pack sandwiches for a hike), and the outside space is comfortable, quiet and beautiful. Now I know why many other reviewers wished they had stayed in this location for the whole of their Madeira travels! The location is excellent for exploring the island and returning home at night is easy, especially with a dedicated parking space. What really makes this place shine are the hosts, especially Filip who offered many suggestions and treated us to fresh bread and other goodies. He was so warm and kindhearted. This is a gem of a property; do not hesitate to book!

What a wonderful place to stay. The balcony is just amazing and is the perfect spot for a glass of wine after a day of exploring Madeira. Nothing was too much trouble for Marie. Even down to the coffee machine not working on arrival and a replacement landing with us within an hour, which was beyond all expectations! The apartment was spotlessly clean, with everything we could possibly have needed! 🙂

The place was nice, clean with good parking. Maria was very responsive and helpful. Only complaint -- room doors can create noise when closed with open windows due to not great fit, but it easily solvable with some socks

This chalet is absolutely beautiful! It was exactly as pictured - if not more lovely in person. It was peaceful, clean, and so cozy! We enjoyed making a fire in the fire place when it was cold and rainy. Ana was so responsive and let us check in early and was helpful giving directions and gave great recommendations for places to eat. Hot shower, comfortable bed, washing machine, full kitchen - everything you need! There are, however, some pros and cons with the location to consider. This is a remote property in a small village - which is what makes it so pretty, unique and peaceful. It’s also off the main road on the way toward Pico de Areiro which is great if you’re spending time in this location hiking, canyoning, etc. However, keep in mind it’s very remote. I really did not like driving back there late at night and was a little uneasy sleeping there at night because it felt so remote - but if that doesn’t bother you, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! We would stay again!

Lovely location to stay in Funchal if you have a car! The place was clean and spacious with housekeeping available on weekdays. The free parking outside the home was very convenient. The host Antonia was responsive and friendly. Her check in instructions were clear. We had an overall amazing stay!

Wir haben unsere Ferien in Madeira und insbesondere die Wohnung in Campanàrio sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, frisch renoviert und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Mit einem Mietauto ist die Lage ausserhalb der Hauptstadt kein Problem und man fühlt sich im Dorf, in der Bäckerei und in den Shops herzlich willkommen. Luis ist ein perfekter Gastgeber, hat eine Antwort auf alle Anliegen und ist trotzdem nicht aufdringlich. Wir können die Unterkunft für ein Paar sehr empfehlen.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft. Lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wundervolle Gastgeber und so sauber und toll eingerichtet mit ganz viel Herz.

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely perfect! We were so impressed by the peaceful and quiet location, which allowed for a truly relaxing getaway. The property itself was of exceptionally high quality and very well-furnished, making us feel right at home. We genuinely had everything we needed and more. The heated pool and whirlpool were a fantastic bonus, providing a luxurious touch. We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Funchal. The space was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal: quiet but still within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Check-in was smooth, and the host was welcoming and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Madeira!

Leonardo let us check in early. Beautiful clean environment right next to the water. He provided a clear and quick video to watch for instructions. Parking is a little complicated but your car is safe in a garage which is nice. Definitely recommend.

Wirklich ein super schönes Apartment! Genau wie auf den Fotos, man fühlt sich direkt zu Hause. Der Blick ist atemberaubend! Würde jedem empfehlen hier zu übernachten während man in Funchal ist. Bis zur Stadt sind es ca. 25min zu Fuß. Das Bett ist super bequem. Jederzeit wieder :)

Great location and views. Plane and street noise did not disturb us as we kept bedroom windows closed. Everything you need to cook. WiFi can be a little spotty. I would stay there again.

The apartment was is a quiet neighborhood and the view was exceptional. The communication with Vasco was easy and quick.

Gorgeous spacious apartment walkable to everything in downtown Funchal - restaurants, shopping the water, musicians in the restaurant area were so fun! (Not near the house). All of Funchal seems to have some construction especially behind this building but I suspect u can’t escape that anywhere in Funchal. Otherwise it was a fantastic apartment and would definitely rent there again. Hosts were wonderful

Can’t recommend enough. Clean, fantastic space, great location. Marina really helpful and always responsive. Well equipped kitchen with everything for meals in but equally a 10 minute drive into Funchal. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location means everything is easily accessible. Supermarket across the road. We didn’t hire a car because the location was so great.
